Necromancer: I Am A Disaster
Chapter 726: There’s No Limit To Being Shameless
Following Antares’s instructions, Lin Moyu continued casting Bone Fangs.
The amount of spirit force consumed kept increasing.
Thanks to his Comprehensive Link talent, he had no need to worry about spirit force consumption.
All consumed spirit force was distributed among his summons and instantly replenished.
Lin Moyu could spend his spirit force without restraint.
When the cost per cast reached 3 million, the number of Bone Fangs had already surpassed 100,000.
Their speed and power had increased so dramatically that even with his soul eyes, Lin Moyu could no longer perceive them clearly.
At most, he caught a fleeting glimmer at his fingertip before the Bone Fangs vanished without a trace.
Their speed had far exceeded 100,000 meters per second—possibly reaching 1 million, or even 10 million per second. They were simply too fast.
As for their power, Lin Moyu had a rough estimate.
Though he couldn’t see them, the Bone Fangs left faint traces in space as they traveled.
The space appeared torn, though not completely, leaving behind deep scars.
This alone proved their might—approaching that of high-tier God-level class users.
While Lin Moyu continued casting as instructed, Antares closed his eyes.
Not in rest, but in concentration.
Lin Moyu could sense Antares’s soul force fluctuating violently. Then, a massive third eye opened on his forehead.
Divine Dragon's Discernment.
It was the first time Antares had used it with his true body.
Under the third eye’s gaze, nothing could remain hidden, not even greater world runes.
For a full minute, Antares observed the Bone Fangs in silence.
Then he spoke, “Attack me. Maximum power.”
Without hesitation, Lin Moyu directed the skill at Antares. It wasn’t the first time, and he felt no reluctance.
The Bone Fangs struck Antares, but the impact was negligible, less than an itch.
After a moment, Antares said, “That’s enough. Stop.”
Lin Moyu stopped, “What did you discover?”
Antares replied slowly, “A kind of law. One I’ve never seen or heard of.”
Lin Moyu frowned.
Under the suppression of the greater world rune, Bone Fangs should not have carried law.
Yet Antares claimed to have sensed one, and an unknown one at that.
This exceeded Lin Moyu’s expectations.
Antares shook his head, “Let me think… how to describe it.”
“It carries death aura, yet within that death, there seems to lie a trace of life.”
“It’s similar to your undead summons.”
Recalling the scenes where he used his skill that seemingly summoned an undead world, Lin Moyu blurted out, “I think I’ll call it the law of undeath.”
“Yes, that works.” Antares nodded, “I sensed the law of undeath within your law art. It is inherent to the law art, not something external.”
“From this, I conclude that while the greater world rune can suppress your star-grade law arts and prevent your law from merging with them, it can’t suppress laws that are intrinsic to the law arts.”
Lin Moyu asked, “Are there law arts in the greater world that inherently carry laws?”
Following Antares’s example, he began referring to soul skills as law arts.
Though he was accustomed to the term soul skill, law art was a more common term, understood across the different races in the greater world.
Antares replied, “There are, but they are exceedingly rare, and always extraordinarily powerful.”
Lin Moyu continued to ask, “Then how can I strengthen the law within my soul skill… no, law art?”
Antares shook his head, “That depends on your own comprehension. Laws are profound and mysterious. Use the skill more and reflect on it. Only then might you be able to strengthen it.”
“And rather than pursuing other laws, you would do better to focus on the law of undeath.”
“It is the law of your class, far more potent than something like the law of lightning.”
Lin Moyu understood this clearly. His path revolved around the undead; mastering the law of undeath was naturally the most suitable choice.
Still, his ambition reached further. He had no intention of abandoning the law of time. If possible, he would grasp both.
Lin Moyu said, “I’ll study it carefully later. My soul force is still abundant. I should be able to pull out another skill star core.”
Antares’s eyes lit up, instantly brimming with excitement, “Then hurry. Let me kill you again.”
“Maniac.” Lin Moyu ignored him. With a flicker of soul force, he entered his soul world.
Within it, the Deathwings star-grade law art burned like a blazing star, suspended high above, with five planet-grade law arts orbiting around it.
Off to one side, the Bone Fangs star-grade law art stood alone, as if a castaway.
Soul force filled the soul world.
Maintaining these law arts, converted from skill star cores, required constant consumption of vast amounts of soul force.
Only when there was a surplus of soul force could he retrieve more skill star cores from the skill space.
With soul force to spare, Lin Moyu felt he could bring over another skill star core.
Like a bandit, he stormed into the skill space and quickly locked onto the nearest skill star core.
His soul force wrapped around it and began to drag it away.
“It’s harder than before…” 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
As the number of remaining skill star cores dwindled, the space’s binding force grew stronger.
Even so, it couldn’t stop Lin Moyu. Step by step, he dragged it toward the exit, the resistance proving futile.
Half a day later, the skill star core was finally torn from its birthplace and pulled into unfamiliar territory.
Following a now-familiar route, Lin Moyu skillfully guided it into his soul world.
After finding a suitable place to anchor it, he unleashed his soul force recklessly.
The skill star core seemed to sense its fate and responded eagerly, devouring the soul force like a starving beast.
“Eat, eat. Take as much as you want. I have more than enough.”
Lin Moyu ignored the limits of his endurance, pouring soul force into it with reckless abandon.
The skill star core absorbed it all, its glow intensifying, shining brighter with every moment.
“Kill me!”
“Got it! Coming!”
An utterly shameless voice rang out, answered by an even more shameless one.
Brimming with excitement, Antares slapped Lin Moyu.
This time, he didn’t use a breath attack. He switched methods.
It was as if he intended to experience every possible way to kill him.
After all, Lin Moyu wouldn’t truly die, so Antares had no reason to hold back.
Slap after slap struck. Lin Moyu died again and again, only to be reborn each time within the purple glow of his talent.
Antares urged, “Come on, you limp-legged human. Hurry up.”
“Stuff it, stuff that soul force in there. Don’t worry about bursting it. You can’t.”
Antares shouted excitedly, shameless beyond belief.
Lin Moyu thought of a saying: “There’s no limit to being shameless.”
