Necromancer: I Am A Disaster
Chapter 735: The Immortal Undead Army
The Dragon Emperor had yet to truly make a move. Simply igniting his bloodline and manifesting the Divine Dragon phantom was enough to cause an enormous commotion.
The entire Human World fell into silence. Countless eyes stared at the sky, wide with awe.
The Divine Dragon phantom radiated peerless might, making all who beheld it feel insignificant.
It wasn’t just ordinary people. Even high-tier God-level experts like Meng Anwen felt their hearts tremble.
To them, the pressure was even more suffocating, a crushing force that seemed to weigh directly upon their souls.
A half-step Transcendent God had already begun to touch the laws of the world. Compared to a high-tier God-level expert, the difference was like heaven and earth.
“Moyu, be careful!” Meng Anwen couldn’t help but worry for Lin Moyu.
This was nothing like the Abyss. Back then, they had only faced the Dragon Emperor. Now, tens of millions of Dagonkind stood ready for battle.
Though powerful, the undead army seemed pitifully small in comparison.
Against tens of millions of Dragonkind, their charge looked no different from a suicide mission.
With a thunderous roar, the Dragon Emperor gave the command, and the Dragonkind surged forward.
At least 1 million Dragonkind took action.
Individually, their levels weren’t particularly high, many below the level 81 undead troops.
Even the Dragonkind Battle Generals of equal level were no match for Bone Dragons, who stood on the threshold of God-level.
But their numbers alone were overwhelming.
Like a raging storm, the Dragonkind swallowed the undead army whole.
This time, Lin Moyu stood at a numerical disadvantage.
Yet this was precisely what he had expected.
“What use are numbers? What matters is fearlessness in the face of death.”
No one understood this better than him.
The true terror of the undead army lay in their complete absence of fear, pain, or hesitation.
They would fight until the last one fell, never retreating, never breaking.
The Dragonkind, however, would.
If their losses grew too great, their will would crumble.
A cold smile curved at the corners of Lin Moyu’s lips.
“Come. I’ll show you true horror.”
The undead army wasn’t advancing at a rapid pace.
Because of this, the Dragonkind battle line stretched longer and longer.
Millions of Dragonkind poured out from the emperor city, encircling the undead army like a vast, gaping maw.
Before the two sides even made contact, the rings of light began to take effect.
Flames ignited across Dragonkind’s bodies without warning. Thunder roared as bolts of lightning crashed down from above. Frost spread on their bodies, slowing their movements.
The power of these effects wasn’t overwhelming. After all, the Elemental Liches had been summoned using lower-tier materials.
But against weaker Dragonkind, it was more than enough.
At the same time, the Bone Dragons unleashed torrents of breath attacks, instantly incinerating swathes of the Dragonkind Battle Generals.
The Skeletal Great Mages and the Skeletal Marksmen attacked in perfect unison. Elemental explosions lit the battlefield like fireworks, while soul attacks silently snuffed out lives.
At first contact, the Dragonkind suffered heavy losses.
The Dragonkind also attacked like mad.
But under the Comprehensive Link talent, all damage inflicted on the undead army was evenly distributed across every unit.
Even those held in reserve silently absorbed part of the damage.
With the Lich Generals continuously casting their healing skill, the undead army displayed terrifying resilience.
The Dragonkind fell in droves, yet the undead army did not lose a single unit.
Corpses rained from above. The ground was buried beneath them, forming mountains in mere moments.
The Dragon Emperor’s expression darkened.
He had never truly fought the undead army before. His focus had always been Lin Moyu himself.
He had dismissed the undead army entirely.
Now, he understood. Their strength exceeded his expectations.
The Dragon Emperor tightened his grip on the Formation Bead, ready to strike. But after a brief pause, he restrained himself.
Instead, he issued a command.
A high-tier Dragon King at his side shot forward, diving into the battlefield.
Against the undead army, a high-tier Dragon King should suffice.
Until Lin Moyu revealed himself, the Dragon Emperor would not make a move personally.
Bearing law aura, the high-tier Dragon King descended with terrifying speed, joining the fray in the blink of an eye.
His entire body was engulfed in flames, an unmistakable sign that he wielded the law of fire.
Waves of fire surged forward, devouring large swathes of the undead army.
For the first time, the undead army suffered real losses; the assault had surpassed the skeletons’ endurance, rendering the Damage Transfer skill ineffective.
Yet the fallen skeletons were instantly reborn within the summon space.
Even so, relying solely on the undead army to confront a high-tier Dragon King was far too taxing. Victory was nearly impossible.
But it didn’t matter. Death meant nothing to the undead troops.
With a thought from Lin Moyu, the undead army scattered, avoiding the high-tier Dragon King.
Especially the Bone Dragons. They simply unleashed their breath attacks upon clusters of Dragonkind.
The rest of the undead army followed suit, bypassing the high-tier Dragon King to strike at weaker targets.
The high-tier Dragon King continued to unleash flames, erasing the undead troops.
Minutes later, all four divisions, totaling around 120,000 units, had been wiped out.
But at the same time, tens of thousands of Dragonkind had fallen.
The Dragon Emperor cast his gaze southeast, suspecting Lin Moyu was hiding there. After all, the undead army had come from that direction.
But as the thought formed, new undead troops surged in from the north and west, identical in scale, charging straight toward the emperor city.
The Dragon Emperor abandoned the search immediately.
Lin Moyu was clearly concealed and would not be easily found.
Since the man himself could not be found, the undead army would have to suffice.
With a command, the Dragonkind forces rushed forward once more.
The Dragon Emperor still refrained from acting personally. Until Lin Moyu’s location was confirmed, he couldn’t risk making a move.
The defensive formation had limited range.
If he attacked, there would definitely be openings, which Lin Moyu would surely exploit.
Moreover, as the Dragon Emperor, he would not lower himself to deal with such weak cannon fodder.
This was precisely what Lin Moyu wanted.
Another high-tier Dragon King flew out, shooting toward the battlefield.
Though Dragon Kings were numerous, only four high-tier Dragon Kings existed, equal to the number of high-tier Demon Kings.
Two had already fallen to Lin Moyu, leaving just two remaining.
As the first high-tier Dragon King returned to the emperor city, preparing to rest, new undead troops emerged again from the east and south, their numbers the same as before.
The Dragon Emperor’s eyes narrowed, “You, go.”
The high-tier Dragon King, who had just returned, immediately rushed out again.
The battle lines spread out in all directions around the emperor city.
The undead army continued to ignore the high-tier Dragon Kings, directing their attacks solely at the Dragonkind soldiers.
Though the high-tier Dragon Kings wielded overwhelming power, capable of slaughtering the undead troops with ease, there were only two.
And with the undead troops constantly dispersing, it took time to eliminate them all.
Time the undead army used to inflict significant damage on the Dragonkind soldiers.
Lin Moyu continuously summoned the undead troops that had resurrected, sending them back into position for the next assault.
The entire battle was under his control.
The undead army could strike from any direction, and their death rate remained within manageable limits.
The Undying Undead passive skill ensured their persistence.
Within five minutes, each unit could die three times.
When the time elapsed, the cooldown reset, granting them three more lives.
At this rate, the undead army was effectively immortal.
Wave after wave, the undead troops fell, only to rise again, as if they could never be wiped out.
The Dragon Emperor frowned, “Why can’t these undead monsters be destroyed?”
