Boiling Beast Bloodline-Chapter 820 - 181 Seven Consecutive Strikes_2
Chapter 820: Chapter 181 Seven Consecutive Strikes_2
As Yiberry’s twin blades made a mistake, he parried the "Paddle Blade," and Fat Luo’s long sword in his hand lifted, sending another war blade stuck in the ground spinning into the air.
The black iron war blade that was knocked back by Yiberry was then driven by Fat Luo’s advance, his right hand twirling the oncoming blade like a flail gone mad, giving even spectators the illusion that Fat Luo’s blade was naturally equipped with a "Paddle Blade."
Liu was shocked, feeling that the tip of Fat Luo’s blade was as ferocious as the rotor blades of a helicopter.
The over two-meter-long blade tip, paired with a quickly spinning "Paddle Blade" on top, forced the advancing Blade Saint Medusa Yiberry to take a step back. Just then, the long sword Fat Luo had flicked into the air landed squarely on the crown of the Blade Saint’s head.
"Damn!" In the midst of urgency, Blade Saint Medusa Yiberry performed a back-bending limbo, narrowly avoiding the descending long sword that grazed his chest and plunged into the ground.
Simultaneously, a Snake Gu leapt from Blade Saint Medusa’s weapon into the air, dodging the "Paddle Blade" in a curled position, scales fluttering as it momentarily glided in mid-air with its mouth wide open, about to break through Fat Luo’s blade circle with its bizarre short flight, but it was harshly whipped back by an incoming Braid Knife.
Fat Luo continued to fling the swirling silver-like "Paddle Blade" towards Blade Saint Medusa, lunging forward with his long sword and lifting the other blade stuck in the ground onto his blade tip, creating a "Paddle Blade" effect again. The Braid Knife swung in a semi-lateral motion behind him, stirring up a huge cyclone from the ground, covering all his positions in the three-meter-long braid plus the one-meter-two blade.
Fastening one war sword to rotate another long sword, his chest seemed to host a meat grinder rather than a "Paddle Blade." The blade he held closest on his nose, secured tightly inside, provided three clear lines of offense and defense; now, Fat Luo, was himself a blade mountain.
Blade Saint Medusa launched the Snake Gu twice—once futilely, and another time the Snake Gu nimbly folded in the air, bypassed the rotating "Paddle Blade" but failed to break through Rodman’s last line of defense—Snake Gu was slashed down by a mighty blow from his nose blade.
After all, the "Snake Gu," smooth yet tougher than steel, met the edgeless war blade like a fly swatter hitting a big fly. The "Snake Gu" was chopped to the ground creating a huge dent on its triangular head, yet it still fiercely wriggled swiftly.
"Who said I have only three blades?" Rodman laughed heartily. "You better count how many I really have!"
Blade Saint Medusa had no time to count, as the formidable momentum of the thrown "Paddle Blade" could only be deflected back, not blown away.
Although somewhat ungraceful, Blade Saint Medusa Yiberry had to throw another Snake Gu to the ground. His opponent from the Mammoth Clan had long arms and an even longer sword, guarded tightly, leaving no room for the "Snake Gu" to fully pierce through and bite him.
Releasing the "Snake Gu" instead of keeping it on his blade wasn’t typical for a true swordsman, but it was more suited for a hidden attack, somewhat safer for the "Snake Gu," and Yiberry was somewhat aware of his limits—while the "Snake Gu" might withstand one heavy strike from Fat Luo, it surely couldn’t withstand a second.
A bit relentless, Fat Luo smirked as he flung the "Paddle Blade" from his blade tip into the air and picked up the long sword Medusa had deflected back, whirling out another "Paddle Blade" and closing in with a spin. The Braid Knife swung towards Blade Saint Medusa Yiberry first, and as Medusa bent to dodge the Braid Knife, the war blade Rodman had flicked up from the air buzzed down, aiming straight at his head.
As Blade Saint Medusa prepared to block this falling long sword, Fat Luo’s long sword, utilizing the momentum of the twist, slashed toward his chest. The crazily spinning "Paddle Blade" and the falling long sword forced Yiberry to choose an embarrassingly awkward roll backward. Before he could stand, Fat Luo’s long sword threw out the "Paddle Blade" like a giant Serrated Crescent Blade striking in front, leaving Yiberry no choice but to endure the assault.
With a loud "bang," the force from the collision sent him rolling backward across the ground.
The long sword that had fallen to the ground was retrieved by Fat Luo and held horizontally in his mouth, while the blade that Yiberry had hard-blocked was once again caught on his blade tip, spinning out another flurry of silver shadows and fiercely shooting towards the sprawling Blade Saint Medusa. In his left hand, he also plucked the black iron long sword that had been knocked to the ground during their initial exchange.
At that moment, the two Snake Gus finally came to the rescue, springing from the ground and charging fiercely with a left and a right, disregarding the flashing blades and emitting a pungent, nauseating stench from their ferocious mouths.
Left-hand blades were Fat Luo’s specialty. Holding a blade in one hand, one of the Snake Gu was penetrated through the mouth by his direct slice, its tough body held fast on the wide blade tip, swelling sideways yet still alive, twisting helplessly and no longer able to advance; the other Snake Gu was even more unlucky. Fat Luo, with a war blade held sideways in his mouth, flicked it and together with his nose blade, swept out a fan-like arc, flinging the Snake Gu far away. After hitting the ground, this Snake Gu curled violently like an earthworm hit by a shovel.
