This egg like thing was not just egg like but it was actually an egg. And inside this egg, a life was being revived.

And obviously, the lifeform that was inside this egg was the Lich Overlord. But after coming out of the egg, it would not be the Lich Overlord anymore.

Actually, this being would not even be an undead any longer. By this method, the Lich Overlord would be able to perfectly revive himself and would also be able to regain his features from his previous life before he had turned into a lich.

Not just that but by actually dying, this individual had managed to separate himself from the control of the dungeon. So after coming out of the egg, he would be completely indipendent in a better way than Kumoka.

And one might thing that as he was currently unconscious and was inside an egg, so he was making himself defenseless. But that was actually not the case. The egg itself was a great defensive measure that was created by sacrificing this whole bone castle. So even the ladies would have a very hard time breaking through the shell of this black egg.

This was truly a very well thought out plan and it was also executed perfectly. But the former Lich Overlord had made a major mistake. He had underestimated how strong Grace and her Divine Magic actually was.

At the current moment, if Grace released her prepared move, then even if it could not kill the former Lich Overlord outright, it would definitely weaken the barrier enough to allow the other ladies to break through it. So no matter what, he was in a terrible danger.

So Grace manifested her one time a week usable ability in her hand instead of immediately unleashing this. And there was a reason behind doing this.

Very soon, the reason became clear. As soon as the egg was able to feel how dangerous this move actually was, it shuddered a little and a very weak fluctuations were released from it.

Even though these fluctuations were very weak and extremely hard to detect, most of the magic expert ladies were able to sense it immediately. Then a feeble voice was heard inside their mind.

"Dear ladies, please be patient. I have no ill will toward you or anyone else. I am actually grateful that all of you had killed me. Without that, my plans would have been useless."

The voice was that of a man and from the tone of the voice, it was clear that this man was used to giving orders to others. But at the same time, it also sounded very weak.

Obviously there was no way the ladies would just believe his words. But currently, they had the advantage in this situation with Grace and her magic. So the ladies decided to negotiate with this former Lich Overlord.

It was Petra who took the responsibility for the negotiation. Even though there were quite a few ladies here who were expert negotiators, like Myra or Aurora, Petra had the most amount of experience among them. So the task was left to her.

Petra opened the conversation by briefly introducing herself and asking the man about who he actually was. And the man himself was quite straightforward and immediately revealed his identity if he was not lying.

He introduced himself as a the 22nd king of the Lotesvine Kingdom, Arlometta Temu A’losette. According to do his memories, he had suddenly died and had reincarnated here as an undead Lich. He had managed to retain most of his abilities from his previous life and had became the boss and ruler of this dungeon floor.

The first few months had went quite well for him and he had not faced any troubles here. But then, he suddenly started to realise that his personality was slowly but surely changing while staying in the body of this undead of the dungeon.

The nature of an undead was overwhelming his own soul. He was slowly turning into a real undead. His memories and his intelligence were also slipping away.

But Arlo was unwilling to give up. So he started to research his own body and race. Then after a lot of experiments, he manage of separate his own consciousness from the body of this Lich and that was how he prevented the deterioration of his intelligence and memories.

Immediately after that, he started to think of a way or separate himself from this dungeon. Obviously, there was no way he would want to stay attached to something that was actively trying it harm him and restrict his freedom.

At the beginning, his progress had been extremely slow because of the surveillance of the will of the dungeon. But after the vampire queen had appeared, the will of the dungeon had became very busy and distracted in order to get her under control.

This was a golden opportunity for him. And Arlo had taken advantage of this god given opportunity and while hiding from the surveillance and interference of the will of the dungeon, he had managed to come up with an idea to get out of this mess.

And the idea was exactly what had just happened. And it was also a success. So now he truly was desparate to not lose when he was at the end game and was just about to win against the crafty dungeon.

Even though Petra was trying to negotiate, this man was very desparately trying to save his life. So he was not interested in having any discussions and he immediately told everyone about his whole story.

Grace had been using a divine magic spell to judge if he was lying or not. This magic was not hard to fool but doing so was difficult in his current situation. And the result that this spell gave was that this man had not lied at all.

So all the ladies looked at Grace and waited for her to make a decision. In a complex situation like this, all the ladies felt that going with Grace’s decision was definitely the best possible option available to them.
