Ocean Master
Chapter 549: Conquering The Blood Wreckage! [3]
"Who dares to abduct my scavenger group?!"
Once this powerful voice reverberated in the Blood Wreckage like thunder, all the battling beasts mellowed down as they all felt like they were just drenched with ice that froze them even though they were already cold-blooded beasts.
A Black tier predator arrived!
This fact was so shocking to the beasts here that they froze completely. News that some of the biggest scavenger teams were backed by Black tier predators was not new, but they were still shocked to see one of them arriving.
In Oceania, Black tier predators were such lofty figures that they were literally invincible and invisible to weaker predators.
Some Red tier predators had never seen Black tier predators all their lives, these were creatures of myth to them but today they met one.
Perhaps among everyone here, Sebastian was the only one that was not surprised as the massive pitch-black Crane descended on the Blood Wreckage.
Sebastian grinned on seeing this massive crane. It was a universal rule in Oceania that Black tier predators commanded respect and reverence wherever they went, but today, this one would be meeting an outlier, an anomaly.
Without turning, Sebastian reminded his subordinates of the plan.
"Remember the plan, defend yourselves!"
"Wait for the window of opportunity to open before striking!"
Sebastian reacted impeccably to the arrival of this Black tier predator that one could suspect that he expected his arrival. Well, he did expect his arrival and already planned extensively for this moment.
At this moment, despite being a Red tier Leviathon already, Sebastian still could not compete against Black tier predators yet but he could try.
"Sukkot, do the thing!"
"Affirmative, master!"
Hum!
Since the conquest of the Blood Wreckage started, the Tower of Sukkot was yet to see its debut and finally, it could see the light of battle.
With a loud humming sound, the complicated machinery of this magic tower geared to live as the Tower of Sukkot quickly picked up momentum rapidly in the direction of the massive pitch-black Crane.
The Tower of Sukkot was a defensive magic gadget, it was not designed to attack but simple improvisation could turn it into a temporary attack tool.
At this moment, Sebastian pictured the scenario of King Leonidas slamming Persian soldiers to death with his war shield as he intended to do the same with the Tower of Sukkot.
You could not stab with a tower, but who said you couldn’t slam with it?
The massive Crane did not back down, backing down was a sully to his dignity as he accelerated and collided with the massive tower.
Boom!
The sound of cracking bones was mixed with the booming sound of collision as the massive tower bounced backward without sporting a single crack.
The outcome of this collision was not just shocking to the spectating beasts but also the massive Crane as he looked down at the tower with a suspicious gaze. Sebastian did not allow him to think though, he slammed him with skills.
Sebastian used exactly the same strategy that he used against the Atlantian Prince but to much greater effect this time.
[You have activated skill: Mana Empowerment!]
[You have activated skill: Mega Sound Blast!]
[You have activated skill: Space Slash!]
[You have activated skill: Force Blades!]
[You have activated skill: Force Bombs!]
[You have activated skill: Force Tsunami!]
[You have activated skill: ...]
[You have activated unique skill: Doppelganger and Invisibility!]
[You have created 15 doppelgangers!]
[You have activated killer move: Ancient God’s Blast!]
Sebastian held nothing back this time as he finally went all out. Inside the Tower of Sukkot, he literally used all the ranged skills that were in his repertoire of skills as attack after attack came out with lightning speed.
Sound domain skills, Mana Lord skills, his Leviathon bloodline skills, telekinesis skills, and even his killer move, Sebastian used them all.
While using his telekinesis skills, Sebastian did not forget his telekinesis weapons as the Canary Magic Discs came into play in this battle.
As all these ranged skills came slamming and slashing at the massive Crane, 15 doppelgangers came out from opposite sides of the Tower of Sukkot as they quickly surrounded the massive Black tier predator.
Though they only carried 80% of Sebastian’s overall strength, the mere fact that they were 15 made them another army of their own rights.
As the skills bombarded the massive Crane, the doppelgangers also attacked him but they had a different role, they were focused on preventing the Crane from having too many opportunities to move and counterattack.
Fighting against a Black tier predator when not being one was the most impossible task in Oceania and was why Sebastian planned extensively for this.
The focus of his planning was to not give the massive Crane any breathing space. And what gave him the confidence to even think of implementing a plan like this was because he knew this predator, he was in a weakened state at the moment.
As his doppelgangers harassed the massive beast while he spammed more skills, Sebastian in the safe harbor of the Tower of Sukkot finally made another move that he had been theorizing about for a long time.
Sebastian finally sent Goldie on his first mission in this war conquest.
Whoosh!
Goldie transformed into his war crow form immediately after he came out of his master’s head as he used his warping mana swim to rapidly close the distance to the massive Black tier predator before he could react.
The already irritated Crane tried to tear the Golden Crow to pieces with his beak, but before he could do so, Goldie already made his move.
Caw!!!
In Sebastian’s vision, his system lit up a notification.
[Warning! Dimensional Gate has been opened!]
Bzzz!
For the first time since he got Goldie, Sebastian allowed the Celestial Beast to make use of his full potential and open a dimensional gate.
It was like the space was tearing apart and a black hole was about to form in that specific area as shockwaves blasted everywhere from the nexus of the gate.
Once the dimensional gate was opened, the summoned beasts from a distant planetary dimension poured into Oceania as, under the will of Goldie, the massive bat-like swarm of beasts all dived at the massive Crane.
Their numbers were uncountable and they seemed to not stop coming as the massive Crane was quickly surrounded from all sides by alien bats.
Once the dimensional gate closed, Goldie started commanding the legion of alien bats to do his will and inflict as much damage on the massive Crane.
Sebastian’s rapid execution of his plan tied the Crane down from the beginning. He never got to reveal the flair and might of a Black tier predator since he wasn’t given the time to flex his strength from the onset.
Now that the bats covered him from every side, Sebastian finally gave his army the go-ahead to engage.
"Now!"
"KILL!" The Red tier Leviathons joined the battle with gusto.
With the numerous bats already keeping the Crane occupied, they could stop worrying about their defense as alongside Sebastian’s doppelgangers, they started unleashing all their skills at the massive Crane.
The Crane killed hundreds of thousands of bats every second but there were more to fill their places and this placed him in a precarious position.
In 2 minutes, the Crane finally started sustaining injuries!
All the onlookers were shocked but this was what Sebastian anticipated. On finally seeing it, he was ecstatic as they increased their attack frequency.
A few seconds later, Sebastian created another Rainbow Prison on the massive Crane, this was when he sent the Tower of Sukkot forward.
The Tower accelerated in the direction of the Crane rapidly, and before this beast could understand what was happening, the tower opened up before swallowing him and locking him up.
Boom! Boom!
The Crane resisted but the tower soon became calm after swallowing him.
The Tower of Sukkot was a defensive tower with a lot of other uses. One of its most prominent uses was that it could serve as a prison to hold and suppress criminals, and now, a criminal was imprisoned.
The Blood Wreckage was finally conquered!
This was the end of the quest to the Leviathons, but not to Sebastian as a personal mission of his finally kickstarted far away from here.
Once the Crane was imprisoned, a roar reverberated from far away.
"Noooooo...!!!"
The mission of the Night Rakshasha was on!
