Chapter 551: Sebastian Vs Crane Lord, The Deceiver!

Sebastian fell in love with the Night Rakshasha beast race due to some main reasons, it was because of their stealth and assassination abilities.

And now, in just a few weeks’ intervals, this living doppelganger already proved to be living above what he expected to get from it.

Just like a lot of races were associated with specialized sounds and skills that were finetuned to their race, Night Rakshashas were synonymous with their race specialty killer move, assassination.

This was undoubtedly their strongest skill.

This was a skill that fell into the rare category of OP skills that could allow beasts to skip levels to defeat their opponents.

The requirements to use it were steep as it required the Night Rakshasha to sacrifice 70% of his health points, but in the process, he received the ability to deal a horrifying amount of damage in one move.

Even with sacrificing 70% of his health points, the attack was only barely able to compare with a casual attack from a Black tier predator.

Originally, this was never supposed to kill the shadow mirage but 3 reasons caused its death. First, the shadow mirage was already weaker than conventional Black tier predators, the second reason was that like the main body, they were shadow Cranes which meant that their defense was crappy.

The third reason was Sebastian sealing one of the shadow mirages already. This move weakened the remaining 2 bodies, and a shadow mirage suffering from so many disadvantages already could not survive the attack.

Even as the shocked higher-ups of this bounty organization still felt the ringing sound of the collision and the fading lifeforce of their leader’s shadow mirage, the roar of the pain of the Deceiver finally came.

In the intervals of mere 10 minutes, the Deceiver suffered the death of his 2 shadow mirages, the backlash from this was horrifying as he shrieked in pain.

Without a doubt, this powerful Black tier predator was just dealt a crippling blow. While the higher-ups were horrified at the rage of their leader, they were even more horrified at this brave Night Rakshasha.

They turned to look at him but Sebastian was already gone. Having been waiting for the Deceiver’s shriek, he used his sound domain skills to pinpoint his location instantly as he went in pursuit.

The higher-ups were already shocked by everything that happened, now they were flabbergasted. "Does he think he can defeat the leader alone?"

Sebastian did not answer, what followed answered them.

The water space was pulled apart, the signature manifestation of a teleportation portal as 5 massive Red tier predators appeared the next moment.

Apart from the 3 Leviathons that Sebastian invited along for this mission, he did not only bring his Leviathon body but his main Megalodon body also. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

Against a notorious Black tier predator, he did not hold back as he pulled all stops to make sure that this assault would be a success.

Once he gave his orders to his 3 subordinates, Sebastian’s 2 bodies accelerated as they went after the Night Rakshasha who was already deep inside the shadow realm, navigating rapidly to where the Deceiver hid.

Though the Deceiver already spent decades fulfilling his plan of creating for himself the ultimate skin armor, which meant that he was holed up since none of his subordinates knew the part of the shadow realm where he hid.

He was a master of shadow magic; he could distort reality itself.

Not this time though, this time, he was going against a special beast race who was made to control shadow and sound magic.

The Night Rakshasha was like a radar as it traced all the signals that were transmitted by the Deceiver who was currently in a great deal of agony. 5 minutes later, Sebastian passed through a special shadow node and disappeared.

Bzzz!

When he appeared, he was in a great world of fire that looked like a forge. Gold and other treasures filled most parts of this world, including different magic gadgets and weapons, the rest part of the world was a fire.

In the middle of this world was the massive pitch-black Crane that was almost 2 times bigger than the shadow mirages.

The Deceiver was tied to chains like the test subject of a crazy experiment.

This massive Crane was bleeding severely, not from attacks from other predators, but from the crazy experiments that he did on his body due to his madness of trying to realize his vision of a legendary skin armor.

This crazy experiment of his already left him in a severely weakened state, with 2 of his shadow mirages suddenly dying, the Deceiver was already at his weakest. This was the main reason why he never showed his real body.

As this massive Crane looked at the Night Rakshasha who just betrayed him, his eyes revealed hate. "I will kill you..., I will tear you apart...!"

Bzzz! Bzzz!

"Save your energy till you can injure us first!"

Once the main Megalodon body and the Leviathon body arrived, 3 of Sebastian’s bodies ganged up together on a single predator for the first time since he got his 2nd unique skill and the intensity was on a whole other level.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Post his crazy experiments, apart from his weak defense, the Deceiver was a Black tier predator who was in the middle of the spectrum among Black tier predators. With such strength, he was supposed to be untouchable to Sebastian.

Not now though since after being weakened so much already, his strength now barely touched the Black tier realm and this left him to be bullied by Sebastian.

Having planned this battle extensively beforehand, Sebastian used his 3 bodies in this battle as if he was raiding a monster in a game.

He alternated responsibilities between the 3 bodies, rotating between defense, offense, and support as he hammered this Black tier predator hard.

Due to a certain suppression from the shadow realm which was rumored to also be a legendary magic gadget, the Tower of Sukkot was unable to enter which left Sebastian with the dilemma of defending himself again.

His Leviathon body took the center stage though. With his Domineering Red Gorgon Magic armor, he could barely resist this powerful predator.

This battle continued for over an hour despite the weakened state of the Deceiver which showed the power of this predator at his peak.

No Black tier predator in Oceania ever went down without a fight. Even in his weakest state, the might of this massive Crane was unmatched.

Once his system notified him of this information, Sebastian turned to look to see the Night Rakshasha being shredded to bits by the beak of this massive Crane.

The reckless attack from the Crane came with terrible effects on him, but it also exposed one last opportunity for victory and Sebastian took it with gusto.

The stars seemed to align for Sebastian this one last time as his Leviathon body led the charge to the massive Crane without fear this time.

The massive Crane trumpeted angrily before striking at the Leviathon with its ultimate beak skill, but this time, it met an impenetrable defense.

Not just an impenetrable defense, the armor reflected all the damage to the Crane and this was the window of opportunity that Sebastian took advantage of.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

His Leviathon body led the charge as both bodies unleashed different skills at the massive beast. This time, Sebastian did not end at that as he also summoned Goldie and asked for his help.

Here, an incredible scene presented itself as one Goldie came from the Leviathon and integrated with it while another came from the Megalodon’s head.

The Goldie that came from the main body instead of integrating with Sebastian instead opened another summoning teleportation gate, helpers came!

For the next 5 seconds, the Deceiver could not breathe as he was subjected to attacks from every angle with critical damage arriving every now and then.

After 5 seconds, he could not survive the onslaught, this massive Crane who ruled this shadow realm for centuries issued his last cry in this world.

The massive Crane died with a lot of regrets lingering in his mind.

Sebastian assassinated a Black tier predator!

After conquering the Blood Wreckage, Sebastian achieved another incredible feat on the same day as he also conquered the shadow realm.

This was an achievement for the book of legends!
