The Atlantian Domain...

Underneath the Atlantis Empire where the most dreaded dungeon of all Oceania lay, alongside the numerous war prisoners and criminals that were imprisoned and tortured was a young handsome Atlantian.

Sebastian was about to undergo another round of torture; this was his daily food as the Atlantian guards did not dare to defy the will of their Queen.

He already got his morning dose of torture; this was the afternoon dose.

"What are your plans?"

"..."

"Where will your other bodies strike next?"

"..."

"Answer me filthy piece of sh*t!"

"F*ck you...!"

On hearing this slow and calmly pronounced curse, the Atlantian guard who was questioning the prisoner paused as the word slowly sank into his brain. The next moment, his eyes turned red as smoke seemed to come from his head.

Bonk! Bonk!

The angered Atlantian guard no longer cared about holding back as his massive rod came bonking down hard on the prisoner’s body.

Sebastian was beaten so hard till he hovered between that line of life and death, this was when the frustrated guards turned to leave the dungeon room.

"Torture Day 37th result: Silence".

As the leader of the guards recorded this, he could not help but clench his teeth in anger as he turned one last time to look at the prisoner hatefully.

This was a mission that was assigned personally by the Queen, this was supposed to be his opportunity to perform excellently and catch the attention of the Queen but this bastard was so adamant, he refused to relent.

The more he thought about it, the more he fumed. "One day, one way or another, you’ll surely speak".

"Being stubborn is just prolonging your suffering".

As the guards left, Sebastian was left on the dungeon floor as he wheezed and gasped in pain. All over his body was filled with different marks and injuries, almost all his fingers were snapped already as a form of torture.

His left eyeball was pulled out already, this was just a little of the numerous torture methods that he was already subjected to for the past 37 days.

Originally, the pain was unbearable for him but after his main body multiplied the living doppelgangers to 50, the burden became shared with 50 bodies which alleviated the burden of the torture a lot.

Now, he rarely felt the pain when being tortured since the mental resilience of 50 bodies combined was able to easily suppress the pain.

Despite this though, Sebastian decided to act the part as he never forgot to yell in pain whenever he was being tortured.

Today was no different, the only difference was that the afternoon torture came earlier than expected and Sebastian was the one who made this happen.

Originally, when his main body went to Manapedia to seek an evolution opportunity, he was worried since, during all his previous evolutions, the other living doppelgangers entered a state of slumber.

He was worried that if the Atlantian body entered a state of slumber, then the Atlantians would guess that he was already about to evolve which would make them take more extreme measures but fortunately, he had no need to worry.

Due to the change in the evolution process, only the consciousness of the main Megalodon body was needed to take the test of the space world.

The only time when the other bodies would be required to go into slumber was after the test was completed and the official evolution started. They would need to go to slumber since all the bodies would be affected simultaneously.

Just a few minutes ago, the Atlantian body got feedback from the main Megalodon body that he just completed the test and evolution was about to start.

Sebastian’s Atlantian body was flustered at first but his intelligence came to play as he arrived at a plan immediately. He made use of some petty tricks to rile up the guards, and infuriated, they decided to bring the afternoon torture forward.

Now that the afternoon torture was over, the next torture session would only come in the evening. Sebastian hoped that the evolution was over before then.

After everything settled down, it did not take long before the Atlantian body fell into a deep slumber as changes started taking place in its body.

Just 2 hours later, it woke up from its slumber.

There were no visible outward changes to him, but Sebastian could feel a different change in his perception, thinking, and anything intelligence-related.

Before he could observe the changes himself, the system lit up a notification.

Back in the Dungeon of Souls, the Night Rakshasha body seated on his Shadow throne experienced similar system notifications to the Atlantian body.
