"No." Adrian stated without any further explanation which shocked the Messenger God Hermes.

"I believe that I did not hear you correctly, young one. The Gods of Olympus, mainly my father the God King Zeus, is asking you to participate in the investigation of the dungeon that is located in Mount Etna. This is to make sure that the seal on the Primordial Calamity Typhon is still intact." The Messenger God Hermes stated once more.

"I already refused... did I not? Do the Olympian Gods have a different set of vocabulary where the word No is nonexistent?" Adrian stated which made the Messenger God Hermes even more displeased but a messenger must never show emotions.

"I think you did not hear me clearly but the God King Zeus is asking for your participation on this very important investigation." The Messenger God Hermes stated once more but his tone carried a rather authoritative feeling.

"If it was so important then he should be the one investigating it. Why do I have to go there?" Adrian asked as he was busy looking for clues relating to lots of stuff like the evolution of his soulbounds to finding clues about the creation relic for the Jotunn.

The sudden response that showed that he did not care could no longer be tolerated by the Messenger God Hermes. He was about to explode in anger because of the insolence of the mortal before him and he started leaking divine energy. As soon as the Messenger God Hermes leaked some of his divine energy to try and pressure Adrian, the True Noblesse no longer kept his own energy hidden.

The Messenger God Hermes thought that a little pressure would surely change the mind of the demon before him. Demons might be powerful beings due to their bodies but they cannot compete against gods unless they attain their awakening of becoming an Asmodian. He believed that showing who is on top of this world would make the demon before him meek and passive. The demon before him is only a champion of their great grandmother after all.

As soon as the Messenger God Hermes divine energy reached Adrian’s body, the divine energy that was supposed to pressure him suddenly came in contact with an energy that made even a god sick. The Messenger God Hermes suddenly tried to retrieve the divine energy that he leaked out but it was too late. The strange energy that is covering the body of the demon before him suddenly devoured his divine energy.

The Messenger God Hermes knew that he cannot make the already caught divine energy get recalled which is why he decided to trim it. As soon as the Messenger God Hermes released his hold on the divine energy that was caught, a mouthful of divine blood came out from his throat. The Messenger God Hermes got caught in a backlash that resulted in him becoming weaker.

"If you already know my answer then you should go back to your master like the good little parrot that you are." Adrian stated as his aura exploded in the room and the entirety of it looked like it was morphing into something terrifying.

The Messenger God Hermes could not even say anything back and scrambled on his feet. He moved faster to leave than when he arrived in Avalon. Seeing the fleeing back of the Messenger God Hermes, the elders that were keeping tabs of what is happening finally relaxed. They are shocked that their youngest could make a god scurry away but they liked it as this means he is very reliable.

In a setting where Adrian is not in Avalon and that the world restriction does not apply to the Messenger God Hermes, Adrian would be the one that will get humiliated. In Avalon, Adrian’s abilities are basically almost tripled as he is the lord of the territory. In fact, the territory has absorbed more of his energy that it is enough to say that this is his pseudo domain.

"That pesky god. I already gave him a detailed explanation with respect when he arrived but he tried to push me into doing the bidding of their god king. How arrogant could they be? Then again, if it is the God King Zeus from what I have read in the scrolls then it is not a surprise. If there was even sincerity in their offer then they should have given a gift first and not demanding that I come to them." Adrian stated as he saw the drops of Ichor on the floor.

"Ooh! God blood! This should be a good catalyst that can be used for my new ink. I think Brew can create me a Mythical Tier Ink with this so that Mythical Tier Talismans are easier to create." Adrian stated as he used his ability to warp reality in Avalon to collect the Ichor that fell on the ground.

He even warped the floor into a vial to make sure that everything is scooped up. Since he received Ichor, he will not think of the transgression that Olympus has demanded of him. He decided by himself that the Ichor is the payment for being too arrogant before him.

"It seems that you are quite silent about what I have done, God of Death Hades." Adrian stated as he knew that the God of Death Hades was looking at him from the death realms as soon as the Messenger God Hermes arrived in Avalon.

"What the mediator did is only correct. They did not give you the respect that you deserve and did not even give a gift of good faith. I am already aware how my brother raised his children which is why I am asking as the eldest to forgive them and have no grudges between you." The God of Death Hades stated.

"I do not bear a grudge since I have Ichor as payment even if it is only a few drops! I am suddenly excited for my new ink!" Adrian stated but the God of Death Hades seemed to want to say something which is why he briefly created a mental plane of existence for them to talk.

"You have something on your mind. Tell me... I am your mediator. I am the one responsible for all of you until the God of Death Abaddon rises from his slumber." Adrian stated with authority as his entire body looked chaotic that even the God of Death Hades could not look at him straight without getting confused.

"I believed that the Titans are planning something in Tartarus which is why I sent a letter of warning to my brothers at Olympus. Maybe, the mediator should visit and see what they know but that is only my opinion." The God of Death Hades stated as he knows that he cannot impose on the mediator now more than ever as even he feels terrified of Adrian when he was calm before.

"If the matter was related to the Titans, then I might have gone to Olympus even if they said it like a command just to check but it is of a separate matter. They want me to come because of a matter regarding the Primordial Calamity Typhon that is currently sealed in the depths of the dungeon in Mount Etna. I cannot move because of that as you know that I am restricted in moving against the flow of the world as much.

I may be the mediator of death but I am also a Daemos that needs to preserve world balance. If the world itself is not telling me to move then I cannot interfere with the natural order of things. Also, do you not know of the Treaty of Etna?" Adrian stated.

"Treaty of Etna? What is that?" The God of Death Hades asked as even he did not know of it.

"It is a treaty that your brother has thought and even made in writing. He said that the Gods of Life and Death no longer needs to look over the matters regarding Mount Etna as the Olympian gods are the sole owner of the mountain. This means that any interference from our end will result in the destruction of the treaty and the Gods of Life and Death will become servants for Olympus for about a decade." Adrian stated as he could clearly see the treaty when the Messenger God Hermes arrived to tell him about the investigation in Mount Etna.

The God of Death Hades could not control his face as anger could be seen on it. He is only controlling to the point that he does not lose it as it would be shameful to burst into fury while he is before the mediator. Still, the God of Death Hades knew why his idiotic brother created this treaty as Mount Etna is a powerful mana source that Olympus harvests from.

With the treaty in place, only Olympus can harvest powerful mana from Mount Etna without the gods of life and death eyeing it.
