Quinn watched with a dread and burning anger that he couldn’t explain... but what he felt the most was sadness a bitter one, the reality struck him again.

As the orb released a minuscule light into the devoid room, what he saw snuffed out his drive to kill Esborne.

Every possible corner was etched with the name "Helen." From the floor to the walls and ceiling... the room was filled with words.

’What... did this man experience? What did he do wrong to be punished like this? Why?...’ Quinn was not an emotional type of person, but this?!

This was definitely something different. This was the first time and definitely wouldn’t be the last, seeing a broken man who had cared so greatly for his loved ones...maybe lot of people may not understand but Quinn was different, as a man that greatly cared his love ones...it was beyond the word anger.

’What sin did he commit to suffer like this?’ Quinn couldn’t imagine how this loving man had turned into this, or what hell he had experienced to become what he was now.

What he said back then maybe entirely true...that Quinn didn’t still experience the real suffering and dread, that he was still a green one that only saw rainbow and sunshine in this Crucible.
