Chapter 86: Chapter 86 Unwanted Help

"We’re sorry, we’ll listen to the seniors’ advice next time." a young man with short brown hair apologized while bowing his head toward the older hunter. The two others beside him, a young man and a young woman, also bowed apologetically.

"Sigh...if you already understand your mistake, then fine. Now go find Old Man Muden and get your wounds treated." The senior hunter said before finally walking away.

The group of young hunters quietly left the area afterward and exited the Tamer Guild together.

Oliver recognized the three of them. They were slightly older than him, around seventeen years old, and were well known for always moving together while doing quests and dungeon raids.

"What exactly happened?" Oliver wondered curiously. Still, it was never really his habit to pry into other people’s problems. He simply shook his head before walking toward the guild exit.

"You go ahead first, Olive. I want to look around this place a little more." Flora said while glancing around the guild area.

"Okay. But don’t wander off for too long," Oliver replied before continue to walk. However, he moment he stepped outside, a cheerful voice suddenly called out to him.

"It really is Oliver! Hi, Oliver!"

Oliver immediately turned toward the voice and saw the girl from the group earlier running toward him. Her eyes were sparkling brightly as though she was looking at a celebrity.

The girl was quite short, around 150 centimeters tall, with blonde hair tied into a ponytail. A bow was strapped across her back, immediately telling Oliver she specialized as a long-range hunter.

"Err... hello. What can I help you with?" Oliver greeted awkwardly.

"Sorry about this, Oliver." the brown-haired young man beside her said while smiling awkwardly.

"Brie has been wanting to meet you for a very long time already. But this is the first time she’s seen you free enough to approach. My name is Travers. This is Brie. And that over there is Rusti." Travers then extended his hand toward Oliver for a handshake.

Oliver returned the handshake before glancing toward Rusti. Rusti had long dark-red hair and was currently standing with his arms folded across his chest. His expression clearly showed dissatisfaction.

Soon, Oliver noticed something else. All three of them had bandages wrapped around various parts of their bodies. They were injured. Travers noticed Oliver’s gaze before awkwardly scratching his cheek.

"Ahh, sorry for letting you see us in this condition. We actually barely managed to escape from a dungeon earlier today." Travers said with an embarrassed laugh.

"Escape? What do you mean by that?" Oliver frowned slightly.

"Hey, Travers. Do you really want to tell everything to this guy? Do you want us to look pathetic in front of someone younger than us?" Rusti suddenly interrupted.

"No, Rusti. That’s not what I meant." Travers quickly said.

"Ohh, right! How about we invite Oliver to join our party and help us defeat that boss? At the same time, maybe we can also learn something from him." Brie clapped her hands excitedly.

"Hmmm... that’s actually not a bad idea. But only if Oliver agrees to it." Travers nodded thoughtfully.

"I-I think I don’t really mind." Oliver answered awkwardly. Originally, he had planned to simply return home and rest for the day. Still, this could also become a good opportunity to increase his Familiarity with Flora.

"No. I disagree. There’s nothing for me to learn from someone younger than me. That would only make me look pathetic. Besides... he’s not even that special." Rusti suddenly spoke.

’Tch! What’s this guy’s problem?! Do you really think I have time to deal with your attitude? If you don’t like it, then just leave. It’s not like Travers is forcing you or anything.’

Oliver really wanted to say that aloud. However, he held himself back. He did not want to ruin his carefully maintained image by arguing openly.

"Did you just say Oliver isn’t special?"

Suddenly, Flora’s voice was heard. Everyone immediately turned their heads and saw Flora slowly walking out from the guild before stopping beside Oliver.

"B-Beautiful..." Brie muttered softly while covering her mouth in amazement. Even Travers and Rusti were momentarily stunned by Flora’s alluring appearance.

"Y-Yes... that’s what I said." Rusti answered while trying to maintain his composure.

"Then if someone like Oliver isn’t special, what does that make you? Trash?" Flora replied coldly while staring directly into Rusti’s eyes.

"T-Trash?!" 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

"Hey, Flora... calm down a little. It’s fine. I don’t really mind what he said." Oliver quickly interrupted awkwardly.

"Everyone, sorry about that. She’s my cousin, Flora. She just became a hunter today." Oliver then looked toward the others and smiled apologetically.

Travers and Brie quickly greeted Flora politely. Meanwhile, Rusti still remained silent, although Oliver noticed him occasionally glancing toward Flora from the corner of his eyes.

"Alright then.Maybe Flora can join us too. That way, Oliver can kill two birds with one stone. He can help us while also teaching Flora at the same time." Brie clapped her hands excitedly. Brie was clearly determined to make Oliver join their party.

"Rusti, if you really don’t like it, then you can just go back home." Brie added bluntly.

"I never said I didn’t want to join." Rusti replied while clicking his tongue. "Fine. I’ll come too."

"Okay then. We’ll gather again after the three of you finish treating your injuries first." Oliver said.

"There’s no need for that. Sunblossom." Flora suddenly raised one of her hands.

Instantly, vines encircled Travers, Brie, and Rusti. At the tip of each vine, bright yellow flowers bloomed before releasing glowing yellow spores that gently covered their bodies.

"W-What is this?" Travers asked in shock. However, a moment later, he suddenly realized the pain in his arm had completely disappeared. He quickly removed the bandages wrapped around his hand and discovered the wounds had fully healed.

"Healing skill?!" Everyone present looked shocked. Including Oliver himself. He had never seen such a potent healing ability before.

’That must be one of the twenty-one flora types she can create.’ Oliver thought inwardly.

"Alright then. Are we all ready to move? I can’t wait to raid my very first dungeon." Flora smiled brightly.
