The words continued to vibrate in his head over and over again. The suddenness of the information was too much, and it took him far longer than expected to process it properly. His expression crumbled more and more as the truth slowly settled in, his eyes trembling slightly from the sheer impact of it.

Axel Storm and Norian simply waited for him to finish processing the first part before they could begin explaining further.

After all, they knew how shocking it would be to hear such news about oneself, especially something that had been desperately hidden from the world. It was something that could only be described as a once in a million years occurrence.

"You knew..?" Marlon’s voice sounded low as he asked, a faint strain clearly hidden within it.

The two of them nodded without hesitation.

"The moment your soul took over the body of the Marlon of this world, we knew," Axel Storm said calmly.

This part made Marlon even more confused. They had known all this while, and yet nothing had been done?

Marlon tried to recall the exact day he first transmigrated.

He remembered falling into a pit he did not see while returning from school, and then somehow climbing out into this world in a way that still made no sense to him.

He did not really try to understand what had led him to this world. After all, who would want to go back to a world where they were constantly bullied?

"You shouldn’t think about this matter too much," Norian spoke up.

"Do not believe in this nonsensical talk about people like you bringing bad luck to their world. Your case is different. You’re not only important to us in Arden, but to the entire universe at large," he continued.

"How?"

Marlon pushed all his worries aside and asked the most important question, his gaze lifting slightly.

How exactly was he important?

"You’re the only one who can beat the planet eater," Axel Storm revealed.

"Me? Beat the planet eater? Unbelievable. I am not even as strong as you, yet you believe I can beat that thing that literally eats planets?" Marlon burst out, his disbelief clearly evident in his voice.

Axel and Norian did not mind his reaction. After all, he was still very young, and controlling one’s emotions at that age was extremely difficult.

"I cannot give you the full gist. But this might help. Only something out of this universe can kill something out of this universe. Do you understand?" Norian asked carefully.

It took a few seconds for Marlon to fully grasp it, his eyes widening slightly.

Seeing this, Norian continued his explanation.

"Everything from this universe has a limit, and everything that is not from this universe is not bound by limits," he added.

Marlon’s mind immediately drifted to his unique blessing [Limitless] that he had obtained from his divine breakthrough trial.

He quickly asked the two of them if they were referring to that blessing, but the answer was negative.

"The Limitless blessing only means you can evolve without the stress of breakthrough. But breakthrough itself is not the true limiting factor. What truly matters is your ability to overcome the challenges that come with it."

Marlon began to understand what they were trying to say.

But that understanding also brought with it a surge of curiosity that he could not hold back.

He started by asking if Axel Storm was also limitless, but the answer was negative. Axel Storm revealed that he had already reached his limit, which was the peak of SSS-rank.

At that rank, he could continuously slay monsters for years upon years, yet he would not improve at all.

There was also nothing like increasing strength at that stage, as everything was already at its absolute peak.

Marlon imagined that this could be the reason why Axel Storm was never truly bothered during monster sieges. They would not benefit him in any way whatsoever.

With that cleared, he asked many more questions.

Most of them were about his identity as the Originless one. How they knew he was not from this world. Why they did not act. Why and how he had been brought here. If his talent had anything to do with his status.

The Originless ones were mostly skipped.

The part about how they knew he was not from this world was answered simply. Axel Storm was notified the very second his soul entered this world.

As for the reason they did not reveal it, it was for his own good. The entire world would have blamed him for the Lunaris visit, and he would not have had the privacy needed to grow as quickly as he did, especially in this current age where there was internet and social media.

How and why he was brought here remained a mystery to the two of them.

His talent, the Absolute Attack, was also unknown to them.

However, their hypothesis, after listening to all the skills available to him, was that it might actually be connected to his status. After all, there was no one in the entire world who could copy the skills of others and possess so many talents at once.

He was also blessed with an existential affinity like death, and based on the current title of his skill, there were very high chances of him becoming a death god in the future.

The revelations from these two men stirred a storm of emotions within Marlon.

He took it as a call to action. To grow stronger. To explore his limitless evolution. To become a being that transcended his world and, one day, take down the planet eater.

But where could he find S and SS-rank monsters to slay and grow stronger?

As that thought crossed his mind, another question surfaced almost immediately.

"Where do monsters come from? Portals, rifts, dungeons, who creates them?"

But his question was shut down immediately. According to the two of them, they could not get into that at all.
