Chapter 930 - 619: Art Exhibition [13] Rosa Sullivan: Livestream, the Livestream Is Back Again
Marcus Shaw doesn’t shy away from Oliver Scott.
Oliver also openly eavesdrops, occasionally chiming in with questions about his doubts. However, he mostly receives no answers from Marcus, but rather a glare.
After listening to the entire discussion, Nora Scott remained calm.
—— She felt reassured.
After a moment of contemplation, Nora raised an eyebrow at Marcus, saying, "Let me see the documents."
"Alright."
Marcus handed her his phone.
The packaged documents detailed Parker Shaw’s movements very thoroughly, which Marcus couldn’t fully explain at once. It was easier just to let Nora have a look herself.
Seeing this, Oliver dropped his game controller and leaned over next to Nora, craning his neck to look at the documents.
However, Marcus quickly pushed him away, sending him his own copy to study in the corner at his own pace.
Oliver was curious about Parker Shaw’s legendary past all along, so the method didn’t matter much. Once he got the documents, he eagerly focused on them by himself.
Halfway through, Nora, deep in thought, asked Marcus, "Your dad’s notes speculate there should be seven sets of blueprints?" 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
"Yes." Marcus nodded, "But the authenticity is uncertain."
Nora squinted slightly.
If there truly are seven...
Then Andrew Hughes might not live to inherit this revolutionary undertaking.
She already had three sets.
It’s likely Alexander Vaughn and Robert Durant also have some. Clearly, they can’t comprehend the blueprints, which is why they seek out Antonio Easton, even resorting to creating the mysterious aura of "Master Sliver" in such a roundabout way, indicating they are clueless about the blueprints and must grasp this slim chance to find Antonio Easton himself.
Perhaps they’ve already found some participants of the Loulanel plan...
Nora speculated that, even as participants, they might also be unable to understand the blueprints. Antonio Easton’s unique mechanical techniques are only partially understood by Evelyn Winter, besides her. Headmaster Owen doesn’t even count.
At least four sets are already out there.
The remaining three might not be too far off either.
After all, besides Biel Hall and the northwestern powers, Alexander Vaughn and Robert Durant have been investigating tirelessly across the nation; hidden as they may be, they’re likely to be unearthed.
"What are you guys talking about?"
Pedro Langley returned from a video conference in the study, seeing the trio gathered together, casually asked.
Nora beckoned him over and laid out Parker Shaw’s documents, mentioning Antonio Easton possibly having seven sets of blueprints.
"Not sure if it’s true or not." Nora said.
After a brief pause, Pedro’s eyes flickered with unspoken thoughts, "Only seven sets."
Nora gave him a sidelong glance, "How do you know?"
Coming back to his senses, Pedro, with a composed expression, leaned back lazily, "Just a gut feeling."
Nora: "..."
"Given Hardy Rivers’ constructed models, evenly distributed, it’s about right." Pedro further added, "Shouldn’t exceed ten sets."
"That’s just the shell; what if there are underground structures?" Nora decided to be contrary.
Pedro: "..."
"But, Sis." Oliver suddenly turned to her, strangely furrowing his brows, "If it’s above ground, with modern technology and so many satellites overhead, how has it not been discovered in decades?"
His words were a wake-up call.
Pedro and Nora exchanged a glance.
Since they hadn’t delved into the Loulanel plan, they hadn’t really considered whether Mechanism City was above or below ground...
If it’s underground, finding it really isn’t easy. On deeper consideration, Robert Durant and Alexander Vaughn’s failure to locate it probably has something to do with this.
Nora rested a hand against her chin.
With an arm extended, Pedro casually draped it over Nora’s shoulder, "We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it."
Nora instantly relaxed, "Yes, leave the problem for the juniors to solve."
Marcus Shaw + Oliver Scott: "..."
In a certain bedroom on the second floor, Andrew Hughes, absorbed in researching mechanical models, suddenly sneezed.
He rubbed his nose, curiously furrowing his brow, and then continued his work.
*
After finishing Parker Shaw’s documents, Nora suddenly received a call from Shaw.
She initially thought it was about the 1101 project, but Shaw started with a different topic, "Grandma, the art exhibition just contacted us about our preparations."
"Oh." Nora, puzzled, "Is that it?"
"No, it’s just a minor affair, didn’t dare disturb you." Shaw smoothly replied, "With Mr. Sullivan’s help, isn’t our work nearly complete? The art exhibition requested photos of our work, and then contacted our staff who—oh no, a fan of Master Sliver—saw the logo on our piece and couldn’t wait to fly over and tug at my pants—"
