"Housekeeper," Ning Zihan called softly. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

The housekeeper immediately broke out in cold sweat and made a gesture of invitation: "Miss An, please follow me, I’ll take you to the next room to stay."

Once she got roughly familiar with the room, she told the housekeeper to leave. Then, she went to knock on Ning Zihan’s door.

Ning Zihan was about to sleep, heard the knocking, but didn’t respond and simply lay on the bed.

Because the room was soundproof, An Baobei called Ning Zihan outside, but Ning Zihan couldn’t hear.

"Ning Zihan! Ning Zihan! Ning Zihan!" An Baobei shouted several times, seeing Ning Zihan not responding, she straightforwardly put her hand on the doorknob, trying to turn it open but couldn’t get it to unlock.

"Could the lock be broken?" An Baobei muttered. Thinking the lock was broken, it surely needed replacing, so An Baobei lifted her foot and kicked, the door was kicked open with a bang.

She applied too much force, and the door slammed heavily against the wall inside.

Ning Zihan, who was lying on the bed and about to pull up the quilt to cover himself: "..."

"What are you doing?" These words, Ning Zihan squeezed out one by one through gritted teeth.

"Wasn’t the lock broken? I could only kick it open to come in and find you."

"The lock was just replaced, how could it be broken so soon." Again, squeezed out from gritted teeth.
