But before the assistant could finish shouting, he saw the mermen on his boat suddenly struck by arrows and fall into the water one by one. The assistant was still confused. "Miss Lili, did you know it was a carp spirit beforehand?"

"But if you knew it was so dangerous, why did you come?" the assistant asked, even more baffled.

Yu Lan loosed three arrows in quick succession, felling three more mermen. She explained, "This magical sea is called the Men's Doom Sea; you can find it on a map. Brother Zhao Rong came here specifically to eliminate the mermen and make these waters safe again. He wants to ensure merchant ships can pass through without suffering the same horrific fates as those before."

Countless tragedies had occurred in these waters, with crew members slaughtered and captains dismembered. They all met a gruesome end after seeing what they thought was a mermaid's silhouette and diving into the water for a conquest. By the time they realized the 'mermaids' were actually male, it was too late. These mermen are naturally bloodthirsty. Hearing how cruel the mermen were, the assistant couldn't help but think of piranhas from the Amazon River. Just as Zhao Rong's group finished off the last of the mermen, a thousand more suddenly surfaced in the distance, leaving them all dumbstruck.

At that moment, the carp spirit tied to the yacht's bow burst out laughing. "Zhao Rong and company! So clever for a lifetime, yet so foolish in a single moment. Did you honestly think you could come here, kill all the mermen, and make these waters safe again? You simple-minded fools! You've grossly underestimated us! Hearing the carp spirit's taunts, the assistant burst into tears. "Brother Zhao Rong, it's all my fault!" he sobbed. "I was too greedy and lustful! I listened to that carp spirit and brought us right into this death trap..."

Suddenly, the assistant remembered the Dinosaur Slaying Gun in Zhao Rong's Magic Ring. He blurted out, "Brother Zhao Rong, what about your Dinosaur Slaying Gun? Hurry, take it out and shoot these mermen!"

Zhao Rong shook his head. "The Dinosaur Slaying Gun is powerful on land, but its laser is useless in water. We can't use it now."

When the assistant and the three women heard the gun was useless, they broke down crying. But as they wept, Zhao Rong smiled. He took a strange creature from his pocket and showed it to them.

"Do you know what a piranha's natural predator is? I'm going to use this very creature to wipe out every last one of these piranhas-turned-mermen."
