From a nearby house, Xuelian carried out a bag of cement and dropped it at Zhao Rong’s feet. "Zhao Rong, this is a bag of quick-drying cement," she said. "If you mix it evenly and spread it on the ground, the surface will become as hard as a rock. I don’t think this burrowing dwarf will be able to dig through it. Even if she does manage to get underground, the hardened surface will prevent her from coming back out."

However, Zhao Rong declined her companions’ advice. She stated calmly, "To be honest, I’ve already bought a Divine Artifact from the Paradise Shopping Cart specifically for dealing with burrowing dwarfs like her. I have it with me right now. Just watch how I’ll take her down."

Hearing Zhao Rong dismiss her so easily, the dwarf scoffed. "Kid, you’re lucky to have even made it to my stage. But today, I’ll show you the true power of me, the Earth-element Dwarf, and give you a death uglier than a pig’s!"

With that, the dwarf instantly burrowed into the ground, vanishing before their eyes.

The assistant and the three women, standing a short distance behind Zhao Rong, gasped when they saw the dwarf disappear into the earth. "Zhao Rong, the battle has started! Please be careful and watch out for your own safety!" they cried out in alarm.

At that moment, Zhao Rong pulled a mine detector out of her Magic Ring. She immediately began sweeping it over the ground as if searching for landmines, tracing the whereabouts of the dwarf. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

When the assistant and the three women saw Zhao Rong sweeping the ground with a mine detector, they were so shocked they nearly fell over. "Boss, you’re looking for the dwarf who dug into the ground, not clearing landmines!" the assistant said in disbelief.

Zhao Rong smiled and explained, "You don’t understand, Assistant. This isn’t a mine detector. It’s a Divine Artifact called the Earth-Element Dwarf Finder."

The three women were astonished to hear that the device in Zhao Rong’s hand, which looked just like a mine detector, was actually an artifact for finding the dwarf. "Zhao Rong, how can that gadget find a dwarf who’s burrowed underground?" they asked.

Just then, the device began to beep.

BEEP! BEEP!

Zhao Rong immediately produced an electric fly swatter from her Magic Ring. As she prepared to strike, she explained, "When this detector beeps, it means the dwarf who tunneled underground is hiding right below this spot."

Curious about the electric fly swatter, Yu Lan asked, "Zhao Rong, what’s that fly swatter for? Surely you’re not planning to hit the burrowing dwarf with that?"

Xuelian was skeptical. "Zhao Rong, that’s for swatting flies and mosquitoes. How could it possibly affect the Earth-element Dwarf underground? Are you joking?"

At that exact moment, Zhao Rong slammed the fly swatter down hard onto the ground. She then announced gleefully, "You’re all mistaken. This isn’t just any electric fly swatter. This is a Ground-Penetrating Electric Fly Swatter!"

Hearing the name, the assistant scratched the back of his head in confusion. "Boss, that name’s a mouthful. Can you explain what kind of power this Ground-Penetrating Electric Fly Swatter has?"

Suddenly, a bloodcurdling scream echoed from beneath the ground.

Zhao Rong picked up the swatter, speaking with complete confidence. "You see, I bought this Ground-Penetrating Electric Fly Swatter from the Paradise Shopping Cart specifically to deal with earth-burrowers like her. First, I use the detector to find her location. Then, I smack this swatter onto the ground right above her. When it makes contact, it instantly sends 360 volts of electricity from the surface deep into the earth. So, that scream you just heard? That came from the dwarf hiding underground."

At her explanation, the assistant and the three women were thrilled.

The assistant scampered over to Zhao Rong, his eyes fixed on the swatter in her hand. "Boss, with this thing, we don’t have to fear that Earth-element Dwarf anymore! No matter where she digs, we can just smack the ground with this and zap her to death!"

Lili walked over, looking at the detector in Zhao Rong’s other hand. "Zhao Rong, with this detector, it’s like we have an eye that can see through the ground. No matter where that burrowing dwarf hides, we can find her with this Divine Artifact."

Yu Lan gave Zhao Rong a thumbs-up. "Zhao Rong, using the detector and the electric fly swatter together is a brilliant two-pronged attack! With this combo, we can easily defeat this dwarf."

Xuelian also stepped forward to join in. "Zhao Rong, I never would have imagined you’d buy two such incredible items from the Paradise Shopping Cart! This will make passing the fourth stage so much easier."

As they were talking, the dwarf, zapped half to death by the electric fly swatter, painfully crawled out from the ground with smoke rising from her head.

"Holy crap," she wheezed, climbing out. "I thought once I was underground, you’d never find me. My plan was to use my dagger to stab up from below and cripple your feet. But I never expected you post-90s kids to have such high-tech weapons! You not only pinpointed my location but zapped me with high voltage... Truly, the new generation always surpasses the old. We post-80s are no match for you lot."

Seeing the small dwarf emerge from the ground, Zhao Rong immediately told her assistant to bring over a basin of water and promptly splashed it on the dwarf.

When the three women saw Zhao Rong douse the electrocuted dwarf with water, they protested. "Zhao Rong, water conducts electricity! If you throw a basin of water on her, you might electrocute her to death!"

Hearing their concerns, Zhao Rong pointed at the smoke curling up from the dwarf’s head and clothes. "Can’t you see she’s about to catch fire?" she said urgently. "If we don’t put it out with water, she’ll burn to death!"

Realizing this, the three women immediately fetched several large buckets of water and poured them over the dwarf lying on the ground.
