Peerless Divine Doctor
Chapter 2500 - 2501: Entering the Microcosm
This was puzzling to Ye Luo. Wasn’t this little beast treated fairly well? What could it be asking Ye Luo for help about?
Regardless, Ye Luo didn’t truly desire the little beast. What he really wanted was to leave this place.
"Then, please help me leave here, senior!" Ye Luo said straightforwardly.
"That’s impossible!" The elder flatly rejected without a second thought.
"In that case, don’t blame me, elder!"
The moment Ye Luo entered this small world, its rules would immediately change. The elder certainly had other uses for creating this small world beyond what he had mentioned.
After saying this, Ye Luo attempted to break through the barrier. For Ye Luo, who mastered the Dao of Space Time, this wasn’t particularly difficult.
"Young man, ask for something else. It’s not that I don’t want to let you go, but that I can’t let you go!"
Can’t let him go? Ye Luo smirked internally. This place was under someone’s control; if he couldn’t leave, it was certainly the elder’s doing!
Ye Luo was not one to dither. Since the elder refused, he immediately punched the energy barrier, causing it to cave in!
Curiously, the punch didn’t break the barrier!
The next moment, a strange energy repaired the barrier. Ye Luo squinted in puzzlement. The healing capability of this barrier was incredibly strong, requiring a powerful strike to break through, or else there was no chance.
Meanwhile, the elder was cursing continuously, but Ye Luo paid no heed to his words.
Unless the elder agreed to let Ye Luo leave, he was determined to enter the small world.
Soon, the Lingyun Sword was summoned, and it stabbed towards the energy barrier, creating an ear-piercing screech.
This strike naturally had the Nuonuo Divine Technique’s enhancement effect. Soon, the energy barrier broke open, and a familiar aroma of flowers and grass wafted from the small world.
This scent was so familiar that it almost enchanted Ye Luo. However, now was not the time for reminiscing; he swiftly leaped inside.
"Damn it, boy, I’m going to kill you!"
Yet, once he entered this world, he felt nothing from outside, which puzzled him.
Originally, he believed his cultivation level would allow him to sense the outside even in the small world, considering even the little beast could do so, much less him.
However, reality proved disappointing. He was not as perceptive as the little beast, unable to detect anything outside!
He felt as though he was standing on Earth, gazing up at the azure sky, with clouds and the warm sun feeling incredibly real.
Of course, this world could not trap him. Being unable to sense the outside did not mean he couldn’t break the barrier, although forcing his way out would cause significant damage.
Just as he landed, he suddenly noticed a few farmers observing him wide-eyed nearby.
After all, in their eyes, Ye Luo had just jumped down from a crack in the sky.
"Greetings, Immortal!"
At once, these farmers knelt on the ground, kowtowing to Ye Luo.
Ye Luo was slightly stunned. These farmers seemed at the most primitive stage of the Human Race; even their crops were unimproved yield types.
"Stand up," Ye Luo said calmly.
But these farmers dared not rise. Though living in this illusory world, they were true humans, no different from people on Earth, possessing emotions and judgments.
Given Ye Luo’s descent from the sky, killing them would be trivial for him.
"Don’t worry, I won’t harm you. I came here to enlighten you!"
With that, Ye Luo pointed at the field, and immediately the once-yellow crops grew rapidly, blossoming and bearing fruit, maturing in just a few breaths.
The farmers were astounded; the field had just been sown, and recent droughts threatened a complete loss, yet a miracle occurred.
A huge harvest was imminent, exceeding three years’ yield in this one year!
"Wonderful, thank you, Immortal! We won’t go hungry this year!"
"Not just this year, but not hungry for three years!"
The farmers knelt excitedly, bowing to Ye Luo.
"It’s nothing. Just answer a few questions of mine carefully," Ye Luo said.
"Please speak, Immortal!"
The farmers were somewhat puzzled; they toiled daily in the fields, knowing nothing of secrets. Thus, Ye Luo’s questions made them apprehensive, fearing punishment for wrong answers.
"How many people are in your village? Are there others nearby?"
The farmers paused but then smiled, because these questions were answerable.
"Reporting to the Immortal, our village has thirty households, totaling one hundred and fifty people. Around us are five villages in total, though there are surely more across the steep mountains, uncrossed for generations."
The farmer responded quickly.
After listening, Ye Luo frowned. Given the farmer’s account, the world’s population was quite significant!
It seemed the elder had substantial ambitions to create a world akin to Earth.
Though from a population standpoint, Earth was exceedingly wondrous, and no mere array could simulate it.
This kind of simulation would inevitably collapse as the world’s species reached a certain developmental stage.
That was beyond Ye Luo’s concern; actually, his recent actions had already disrupted the world’s rules, accelerating its collapse.
"Well then, next question: are there any cultivated individuals here, like those who can jump from the sky without harm, such as myself?"
The farmers grew even more respectful upon hearing this.
"The Immortal jests. We’re mere mortals, never capable of becoming like you. Generations have lived for farming, and avoiding hunger is considered a great blessing!"
Finishing, smiles spread across their faces, satisfied by this bumper crop.
Although this sounds unrealistic, in Earth’s ancient times, it was true! This was a portrayal of ancient humanity.
