The young girl lifted her head, and both of them were stunned. Evidently, they knew each other, and this girl was none other than Chen Baoshan’s granddaughter, Chen Qianqian. Ye Luo had met her before in Zhonghai and Capital City, never expecting to encounter her again.

"Qianqian, how come you are here?" Ye Luo asked quickly.

Chen Qianqian looked at Ye Luo, her expression intensely excited, stood up hurriedly, and, taking Ye Luo’s hand, said, "Big Brother Ye, help me!"

"What’s the matter?"

"Miss!"

Just as Ye Luo had started to ask what was happening, a group of men in black suits charged over from a distance, calling out to Chen Qianqian. They seemed to be bodyguards. However, upon seeing these people, Chen Qianqian hid behind Ye Luo.

"Please come back with us, Miss," the bodyguards said.

"No, I’m not going back there again; I don’t want to be locked up in that home without any freedom," said Chen Qianqian with determination.

"Miss, please don’t make things difficult for us. All of this is Madam’s orders, and we must comply. Please come back with us, otherwise we will be left with no choice but to apologize to you, Miss," the lead bodyguard said, his face stern.

"Big Brother Ye, you must save me; I don’t want to be taken away by them," Chen Qianqian pleaded, looking at Ye Luo with a desperate face.

"Sorry, Miss," the lead bodyguard said, waving his hand. The bodyguards behind him moved forward to forcibly take Chen Qianqian away.

"Hold on." Said Ye Luo suddenly, his eyes on the group, "Didn’t you hear her? She doesn’t want to go with you, and yet you still want to use force. Are you planning to become human traffickers?"

"This matter does not concern you, sir. I hope you will not interfere," the head bodyguard said to Ye Luo in a grave voice.

"What if I insist on intervening?" asked Ye Luo, a playful smile playing at the corners of his mouth as he looked at the group.

In a flash, the lead bodyguard’s expression darkened, and a cold glint flickered in his eyes as he said, "Then we are truly sorry, go!"

Immediately, the group of bodyguards charged at Ye Luo, who narrowed his eyes, stepped forward, and his hands shot out as fast as lightning.

The bodyguards had no chance to resist and were all struck to the ground, leaving only the head bodyguard still standing.

"Are you still going to fight?" Ye Luo asked, with that playful smile, the other party’s expression grew tense, his eyes gleamed, and he threw a punch at Ye Luo with all his might.

Ye Luo struck out with a palm, knocking the other party to the ground, and muttered, "Overestimating your own abilities!"

"Alright." Ye Luo nodded, found a decent-looking restaurant, and walked in with Chen Qianqian. He ordered a ton of food, and Chen Qianqian began to eat without any regard for her image.

"You silly girl, eat slowly. What’s going on? Don’t you live with your aunt? How come you have no freedom? " Ye Luo asked.

When it came to this, Chen Qianqian finally stopped, her expression complicated as she said, "Ever since Grandfather went missing, my aunt made me live with her, but she treated me like a prisoner and confined me at home."

"She didn’t even let me go to school but hired a tutor to teach me at home, completely cutting off my contact with the outside world. Today, I had to beg and plead with those bodyguards to let me out to buy something, and I took the chance to escape."

"Why would your aunt do such a thing?" Ye Luo looked at Chen Qianqian with some incomprehension.

"Alright, let’s eat first. Since you don’t want to go back, then don’t. I happened to purchase a house in Capital City, and there are a few older sisters there. I’ll take you to live there for the time being. You won’t feel lonely on your own," said Ye Luo.

"Really? That’s great!" Chen Qianqian’s face lit up with excitement.

However, they hadn’t been eating for long when four or five luxury Audi cars pulled up outside the restaurant, the doors opened, and a group of men in black suits and sunglasses stepped out. One stocky middle-aged man opened the rear door of the middle car.

A woman, in her mid-thirties to forties, emerged dressed in a black pencil skirt and draping a cashmere coat, radiating a strong aura of authority. She wore an indifferent expression and sunglasses as she entered the restaurant.

Chen Huayan’s eyes flashed coldly as she looked at Ye Luo, "No matter who you are, this is the Chen Family’s internal affair. It’s not your place to interfere. Bring the young miss back."
