"You should recognize him then?" the man said as he took out a photo and placed it in front of Mingyue. The photo was of a man in his fifties, but the man was lying on the ground, his face covered in blood, his body riddled with wounds, presenting a ghastly sight.

"Uncle Lan!" Seeing the bloodied man in the photo, Mingyue exclaimed in shock, her eyes showing a trace of agony as she stared intently at the group; "Who exactly are you people, what have you done to Uncle Lan? What do you want?"
