Chapter 192: Chapter 167: The Lord Is Here, and So Is the Giants’ Brighter Day

Zat was the most ferocious of them all. After leveling up several more times and having the Lord dump all his new Attribute Points into him, the guy decided a single Axe was too inefficient for killing and started dual-wielding Double-Bladed War Axes.

Now, like a butcher mincing meat, he would cleave a Pigman in two with a single swing, charging forward at incredible speed.

One look at his current stats made it clear why the guy was so damn fierce.

「Zat」

「Race: Beastman」

「Level: 19 → 30」

「Experience Points: 1348/1000000」

「Power: 21 → 27」

「Agility: 19 → 26」

「Intelligence: 5 → 7」

「Charm: 6 → 10」

「Assignable Attribute Points: 13 → 0」

「Skills: Iron Bone 6→11, Strong Strike 7→12, Strong Throw 6→7, Weapon Mastery 4→5, Shield Defense 5, Running 7→8, Riding Skill 4 [Note: Max Level 15]」

「Assignable Skill Points: 13 → 0」

「Weapon Proficiency: One-Handed Weapons 85, Two-Handed Weapons 210→398, Long Pole Weapon 30, Bow and Arrow 0, Throwing 188→310, Crossbow 0 [Note: Max Level 720]」

「Assignable Weapon Points: 600 → 0」

Since arriving in the Wilderness, the guy had leveled up eleven times. Adding the two Free Attribute Points he had left over from before, Levi had evenly distributed a total of thirteen points between his Power and Agility.

To the Lord’s delight, the guy’s Wisdom and Charm had actually increased by several points on their own.

In fact, Levi wasn’t surprised by the increase in Charm. After all, Charm wasn’t just about appearance; it also encompassed one’s temperament, fame, status, and Reputation.

At the very least, the guy was the military second-in-command of High Cliff Castle, leading so many people. His status and Reputation were naturally indisputable. As for his fame, in High Cliff Castle’s propaganda in Bailiu City, he was touted as the Lord of High Cliff Castle’s right-hand man.

But as for his Wisdom, Levi really couldn’t figure out why it had increased. That said, the doofus was definitely getting better at being crafty. ’Damn it, who the hell did he learn that from?’

’He never learns the good things, only the bad.’

The Pigmen were beaten into a steady retreat, their faces etched with fear.

For the first time, they understood why that group of Minotaurs had been annihilated. These Beastman Guards before them were so ferocious they seemed like a different species from their kin in the deep Wilderness.

Their Power was comparable to a Giant’s, their speed was like Lightning, and their Martial Arts were as profound as a human Swordsmanship Master’s.

It was completely illogical.

To the Wilderness People, these traits were mutually exclusive.

Those with outstanding Power were bound to be weak in Martial Arts. After all, an elephant would never bother learning Martial Arts just to deal with humans.

In their eyes, Martial Arts were just clever tricks that weak humans used to fight them.

Especially the lead Beastman, who was several sizes larger than his kin—it was terrifying that a single swing of his Axe could cleave a body, Iron Armor and all.

"The Red Pig Lord is here!"

Cheers erupted from the rear. The morale of the retreating Pigman Warriors soared, and they hastily parted to form a path.

A giant Pigman, about the same size as Zat and covered in red fur, charged down from the top of the slope brandishing a massive Steel Blade.

"Everyone, move! This Beastman is mine!"

Its massive body shook the piled-up snow as it ran. It roared with immense presence.

"If it’s the Red Pig Lord, then there’s no problem!"

"Before Leader Tikli, the Red Pig Lord was our leader! In terms of strength alone, he’s definitely not any weaker than this Beastman!"

"This Beastman will learn the wrath of the Pigmen!"

All the Pigmen looked on expectantly, filled with confidence, and began to cheer.

Before Tikli took over as leader, this very Red Pig Lord had led them. In terms of sheer strength, he was considered top-tier in the Wilderness.

Watching the red-furred Pigman swing the giant Steel Blade at him with both hands, Zat met it with a direct swing of his Axe.

CLANG!

The sound of colliding metal was ear-splittingly painful. A shower of sparks lit up the night.

Before anyone could react, Zat swung the Axe in his right hand again.

SWISH!

A Pigman’s head, its face frozen in disbelief, slid cleanly from its neck and landed in the snow. The enormous body crashed to the ground.

"That’s it? With all that roaring, I thought you were supposed to be tough."

Zat picked his nose with one hand, a look of disdain on his face.

This kind of opponent wouldn’t have been a match for him even back when he dominated the southern Gladiatorial Arena, let alone now. After receiving the Gift of the War God from the boss countless times, his strength had undergone a complete transformation.

To be honest, at present, only the boss could go fifty-fifty with him—after all, in any fight, either Zat lost or he won.

Even Orak, the Shaman Beastman, had to cast all his Magic buffs on himself just to barely last a few dozen rounds against him.

In Zat’s eyes, an enemy like this couldn’t even compare to Hog, that wolf cub. He was utterly unremarkable.

"Sigh, it’s lonely at the top."

Zat clasped his hands behind his back and looked up at the moon, feigning a loneliness as vast as the snow covering the world.

After all, even the famous Pigman Leader couldn’t withstand a single clash with him.

Who was there left to fight?

Unfortunately, before he could finish sighing, he was sent face-first into the dirt.

"Still putting on an act, are you? Get your ass over there and capture those three Catapults for your Lord!"

The Lord sneered as he retracted his shadowless kick.

He’d be embarrassed to even mention beating up a few small-time thugs, yet this doofus was putting on airs.

"Yes, boss."

Zat scrambled up from the ground, spat out a mouthful of snow, and immediately resumed his charge up the mountain. Inwardly, he pouted, feeling he had the worst luck.

’I just wanted to look cool in front of the Warriors like the boss does, but I got caught red-handed.’

’But they must have seen my magnificent posture, at least. I’ll go show off in front of them when this is all over.’

Zat thought to himself.

The Lord, meanwhile, walked up the mountain at a leisurely pace with his hands behind his back, Masha following him.

The Pigmen outnumbered the Barbarians, but they knew nothing of formations. The moment a battle began, they would just swarm forward in a chaotic mob.

They stood no chance against the neatly arrayed Barbarians, who advanced like a weed whacker.

Nearly a hundred of them were cut down in just a few clashes. With the death of that Pigman Leader, their morale finally shattered, and they began to wail and flee in all directions.

At the top of the slope, several battle-scarred Giants were whimpering, clutching their heads and lying in the snow beside the Catapults.

One look was all it took to see they had long been oppressed by the inhumane Pigmen.

"Your lord and master has arrived! Your day of liberation is here!"

"I am a most benevolent lord. Out of my great mercy, I shall provide you with food and lodging." Levi looked at their sturdy, powerful bodies and smiled with satisfaction. "Get ready to embrace your new careers."

The Giants breathed a sigh of relief. While not highly intelligent, they could grasp the basic meaning.

This new group of shorties wasn’t going to kill them, but rather use them as laborers.

In this freezing cold season, having a job that came with food and lodging could be considered a stroke of luck.

"Boss, there’s another Pigman over here!"

a High Cliff Castle Barbarian shouted.

Everyone quickly gathered around.
