Jake blinked, his mouth opening slightly in shock as he looked at the choices for Grace.

2. Scout

3. Fixer

4. Apprentice Bond Attendant

5. Apprentice Lightmarksman

Even though all of them sounded far better than "Fail Gunner," Jake still wanted more details.

He quickly activated [Class Appraisal].

1. Gunner – Basic but reliable firearms class. Improved accuracy, faster reloading, and better ranged weapon handling.

2. Scout – Focuses on reconnaissance, stealth, heightened senses, and information gathering.

3. Fixer – Practical support class specialized in quick repairs, emergency fixes, and battlefield improvisation. Can temporarily patch weapons, equipment, or even minor wounds.

4. Apprentice Bond Attendant – Support class centered on strengthening and maintaining emotional/physical bonds. Provides passive buffs to bonded allies, minor healing over time, and especially good in bed.

5. Apprentice Lightmarksman – Light-attuned shooter class. Combines marksmanship with light-element attacks, minor light manipulation, and enhanced perception.

Jake read through them carefully.

Most were solid, but a few stood out strongly.

He couldn’t help but stare at the "especially good in bed" note on Apprentice Bond Attendant.

’Could it be because of my Bonds Captain class?’

He couldn’t help but thought so from the name.

They were all solid Common classes, far better than he had expected for someone starting from Trash.

Grace couldn’t see the list, but she watched Jake’s face anxiously, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.

"Jake...? Are the new classes still bad?" she asked softly, clearly nervous.

Jake shook his head and smiled gently, though he couldn’t hide his confusion.

"You cannot see your own class upgrade options?"

Grace shook her head. "No."

Jake stared at her for a moment, then asked, "Then how do normal people usually check or choose their own upgraded class?"

Grace tilted her head, her golden eyes widening in genuine surprise.

"There... are choices?"

"Eh?"

The two of them stared at each other for a few seconds in mutual confusion.

Grace’s expression slowly turned thoughtful as she explained.

"Actually, normally promoting our class isn’t so simple. It requires long and arduous training... and when it’s time to evolve, we just feel it. If we want to see the details, we have to check with the guild or use our family’s appraisal stone... but I’ve never heard of having a choice to pick our class."

Even as she explained this, Grace couldn’t help but feel amazed by Jake’s strange class.

Not only could it upgrade her, it even gave her options to choose from.

Jake nodded in understanding at this.

He then began explaining each option to her in detail as he wanted her to choose for herself.

When he reached Apprentice Bond Attendant and awkwardly mentioned the last part, Grace’s face instantly turned bright red.

"O-Oh... I see."

After he finished explaining all the options, Grace stayed quiet for a long moment, thinking deeply.

And inside... she really wanted Apprentice Bond Attendant.

The idea of strengthening their bond, supporting Jake, and being able to make him feel good... felt perfect to her.

But at that moment, seemingly sensing her thoughts, Jake smiled wryly.

"Grace," he said sincerely, his voice soft but firm. "Don’t choose based on what you think I want. This is your class, your future and your new beginning. Choose the one that feels right for you... not for me."

He knew full well that Grace probably wanted to choose Apprentice Bond Attendant for him judging from her face, but he didn’t want her to become someone who stayed behind.

She had said she wanted to stand beside him and not always need protection.

Hearing his sincere words, Grace’s golden eyes trembled.

She stared at him for a few seconds, clearly moved by his words.

She took a deep breath, then spoke with quiet but growing confidence.

"...Then I choose Apprentice Lightmarksman."

Her voice was soft, but there was no hesitation in it anymore.

"I want to become stronger in combat. I want to be able to fight with you... not just support you from behind. I don’t want to be someone who always needs protection. I want to stand on the battlefield beside you."

She looked up at Jake with fierce determination, even as her cheeks remained slightly pink.

"Is... is that okay?"

Jake smiled warmly and nodded without hesitation.

"That’s more than okay. It’s perfect."

He knew that if she had chosen the Bond Attendant class, it might benefit him a lot as he would have a dedicated support focused on bringing him buff and pleasure... but he didn’t want Grace to become that kind of person.

He wanted her to shine and make the world hear and fear her name.

Then Jake focused on the system and made the selection.

Then, a soft, radiant golden light enveloped Grace’s body.

She closed her eyes and let out a small gasp as new energy flowed through her... sharper, brighter, and filled with potential.

When the light faded, Grace opened her eyes.

She subconsciously raised her hand, and a small, glowing light bullet formed above her palm for a moment before vanishing.

"I feel... different," she whispered in awe while clenching her fist. "My eyesight feels clearer... and I can feel the light inside me much better now."

Jake didn’t reply immediately as he checked her new status.

The changes were explosive.

The difference between a Trash class and a Common class was insane.

Her stats had all improved noticeably, and she had gained several practical combat skills right away.

He couldn’t help but think that this must be closer to Grace’s real potential... the potential that had been wasted because of her original Trash class.

But then he couldn’t help but give her a strange look as he noticed her condition was always listed as "Highly Aroused" no matter when he checked it...
