Chapter 74: Seraph is a bully?

Seraph’s eyes narrowed at the sight, wondering who these reckless disciples were.

"Sera! Dera!"

Beside him, Ariana called out to the two girls fondly, surprising him.

"Hm? They’re your friends? They look childish."

Well, it wasn’t unexpected. Anyone below eighteen years old was still children.

"Don’t say that. They’re actually older than you."

Seraph’s face darkened, but before he could reply, the two girls had already come to a stop before them.

Dera had jet black hair, and an identical face to Sera who had silver hair.

The three studied each other briefly before Ariana spoke.

"Senior Sisters! This is my Big Brother Seraph."

The twins finally turned back to him, sizing him up. Naturally, Seraph wasn’t an average kid. If his pure white hair wasn’t enough to attract attention, then his rainbow eyes would definitely do.

So the twins were intrigued when looking at him.

Dera, the black-haired girl stepped forward to get a closer look.

"You have rainbow eyes. It’s really weird and fascinating."

Then, she turned to look at her sister.

"My sister is Sera, and you’re Sera with a ’ph’. I really want to ship you two."

Sera rolled her eyes, giving her sister a glare.

"What do you mean with that nonsense? And why are you latching onto him. You’re making him uncomfortable."

Only then did Dera realize she had hugged Seraph’s arm while speaking.

She blinked, then released him with a faint ’oh’.

Ariana clicked her tongue and put herself between the twins and Seraph.

"Hmph! Big Brother is not marrying any of you."

Seraph blinked, surprised by how defensive she was. He knew they were close but was that necessary? Also, did this mean she was going to chase away anyone who liked him in the future?

"Bahh, my grandma can find me other handsome guys."

Dera snorted and folded her arms, looking to the side blankly.

Unexpectedly, it was Sera who reacted defiantly to Ariana’s words.

"Oh? And what if I say I want to?"

The other three were shocked, with Dera looking at her sister with wide eyes.

To strangers, Sera was usually cold and standoffish. She didn’t expect that the girl would say such words.

Ariana’s blue eyes grew cold, and she harrumphed.

"You want to? Then you have to go through me."

She folded her arms before her flat chest, striking her foot against the ground with a small thud.

Sera’s eyes were always cold. She stepped forward, cracking her knuckles in preparation.

Seeing this, Seraph frowned and released a bit of his spiritual pressure.

He placed a hand on Ariana’s shoulder and said. "Alright. That’s enough."

Just like a mature older brother would! Unfortunately, Ariana wasn’t his real younger sister. His own elder sister was still at home, waiting for his return.

"Hah? So you’re actually a Peak Advanced Stage cultivator?!"

Dera gasped in shock, not expecting Seraph to be on par with Fellin.

From the way Ariana always spoke about Seraph, they all thought the two of them were having equal cultivation stages or surpassed each other by a level. Well, they weren’t wrong. But Seraph had already surpassed their imagination the moment he became a Core Advanced Stage cultivator while Ariana was still a Peak Beginner Stage cultivator.

Sera was also stunned, as she hadn’t expected him to actually be on the same level as Fellin.

Dera’s eyes glinted as she grabbed Seraph’s hands again.

"Can we fight you? Ariana always says you’re very strong. I want to personally confirm this."

Sera didn’t say a thing, but her eyes showed that she agreed with her sister.

Meanwhile, Seraph turned to Ariana to ask for permission. After all, he wouldn’t want to bully her friends.

The silver-haired girl nodded with a bright smile, as if she had been waiting for this for a long time.

Seraph chuckled, then said to Dera. "Alright. Lead the way."

They moved to the training grounds in the inner court, where several disciples were sparring and testing each other’s skills. After finding an empty stage, Dera grinned.

"Let’s use this place! But I must warn you, I and my sister work in sync. Even if you’re stronger, it doesn’t mean we’ll lose." 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Seraph nodded with his usual smile, then climbed up to the stage.

A few heads turned their way. Seraph was unique in his own way, but the main attraction were the twins.

As granddaughters of a famous elder, they were equally famous. Although young, their talent, cultivation stage, and skills earned them respect in the inner court.

"Weapons or not?"

Seraph asked, carefully sizing up the two girls standing opposite him.

"Sure. Unless you’re unwilling to be injured in the slightest."

Sera answered coldly as she took out her sickle.

"Haha, don’t worry, we’ve got high-grade pills in case you got injured." Dera grinned, taking a hammer from her sister.

Seraph continued to smile, his expression relaxed.

"Alright."

He also took out his spear, letting its sharp tip rest on the ground dangerously.

Ariana stood outside the stage, then shouted in excitement.

"Start!"

As soon as her voice was heard, the twins stomped their right feet on the ground, and several ice spikes shot from the ground, tracing a straight line towards Seraph.

"Interesting."

Seraph’s rainbow eyes glinted, and he pivoted to the side. The ice spikes still followed him, like a missile locked on its target.

Seraph wasn’t deterred. With a casual wave of his spear, he shattered the ice, just in time to see Dera swinging her hammer at him.

His smile widened, and he stabbed his spear straight at her.

Since the spear had a longer reach, Dera was forced to abandon her attack and dodge.

Then, Seraph bent forward, a sickle passing over his head.

"Not bad. Not bad."

He chuckled. The sound was soft, but his next action wasn’t soft in the slightest.

His leg snapped up behind him, delivering a kick to Sera’s stomach.

The girl was forced back with a groan, clearly not expecting him to have sensed her sneak attack.

Dera’s smile vanished when she saw her sister hurt.

"Spike Shower!"

As she waved her hands, over thirty ice spikes appeared above Seraph’s head, then fell like javelins attracted by intense gravity.

Something flashed in Seraph’s eyes, and he made a shooting gesture.

"Flame arrow."

This arrow made of pure flames was larger than a casual arrow, and looked incredibly dangerous.

Before the arrow was released, a wind tornado appeared in its path, supplying it with enough oxygen to combust into a flame tornado.

Dera’s ice spikes were swallowed up by the flame tornado, turning them into vapor instantly.

Sera took the opportunity and attacked, shooting several icicles at his back.

Seraph glanced at her with a smile, then whispered.

"Wind blades."

Four wind blades shot out, slicing through the icicles with precision and ease.

Sera was surprised, and seeing the wind blades still approaching her, she immediately swung her weapon to block.

She was pushed back several steps, but successfully avoided an injury.

When she looked up again, Seraph had already appeared before Dera. The girl was about to swing her hammer at his chest, but he grabbed her hand and pressed a set of muscles on her wrist.

Instantly, the girl cried out and dropped her weapon.

A dangerous look flashed in her eyes, and she created an icicle in her other hand.

With a fierce expression, she struck him with the icicle. Unfortunately, her effort was futile.

Seraph effortlessly grabbed her hand, then turned her around. In one smooth motion, he disarmed her again, locking her arms behind her tightly.

Then, his gaze shifted to Sera who had shot straight at him with a sharp look.

Still smiling, he rolled his shoulders.

"Don’t be hasty. Water wall."

A wall of water rose, blocking her path. Sera’s eyes narrowed, but she swung her weapon and went through it... easily.

"Huh?"

It was as if she had been doused in water, wetting her clothes. Before she could regain her senses, she tripped on Seraph’s extended foot, then fell right on top her sister.

"Sera! Ow!"

Watching as the two sisters tumbled to the ground, Ariana was speechless.

’Big Brother really beat them easily.’

Seraph hadn’t even struggled at all. This made her excited, and at the same time, she was fired up.

’When I grow stronger, will I be as strong as him?’

She couldn’t help but feel giddy.

"I guess that’s enough demonstration?"

Seraph asked politely, leisurely leaning on his spear.

Dera stood up with a growl, ready to continue. However, Sera stopped her, shaking her head as she stood up.

"You’re very strong. I admit that."

Dera clicked her tongue, folding her hands defiantly. She still couldn’t accept that they had been easily defeated.

’Does that mean that he’s stronger than Brother Fellin?’

"Dera? Sera? What’s going on?"

Suddenly hearing that voice, Dera’s expression brightened. She turned to the speaker, a sly grin on her face.

"Brother Fellin! Come help us! This guy is bullying us because he’s at the Peak Advanced Stage."

Instantly, the air turned cold.
