Pregnant Cultivator, Doted by Big Boss
Chapter 341 - 339: I Am a Cultivation Expert
Celeste Grant had no objections.
The Undercity had been built at great expense.
It served as a shelter during the cataclysm, and now that the disaster had passed, it would be wonderful if it could be repurposed.
With this in mind, she said, "That’s a great idea. You can handle the details."
"Okay, Mom." Aaron Sinclair nodded. "By the way, regarding the Spirit Veins you mentioned, I had disciples from the Bloodfiend Den search the various Secret Realms for them, and we’ve got news. According to the reports, we’ve located five Spirit Veins. However, the veins in two of the Secret Realms can’t be removed, or the realms themselves would be destroyed. The other two can be collected, and I’ll be heading out to get them shortly."
Celeste Grant nodded.
"Alright. Be safe, son."
"I will! Mother, is there anything else you need? I can bring it all at once. Oh, do you want any seafood? I can bring you plenty."
Celeste Grant waved her hand. "No need for that. Just bring two Side Spirit Steles when you come."
Aaron Sinclair didn’t ask any further questions and simply said, "Alright. Mother, how big do you need them? Should I haul over the one from outside the Bloodfiend Den’s main hall for you?"
Hearing this, the corner of Celeste Grant’s mouth twitched. ’What a ’good’ son you are,’ she thought sarcastically.
Her son was referring to the Spirit Testing Stele that stood beside the Bloodfiend Den’s main square. They normally used it to test Spirit Root attributes, and it had been standing there for several hundred years.
Celeste Grant replied, "Let’s forget about that one, son. It’s been there for centuries; everyone’s grown attached to it. Just go to the treasury and find two others, about the height of a person."
Aaron Sinclair nodded slightly.
"Alright!"
Suddenly, something occurred to Celeste Grant, and she said, "Aaron, I remember the Hall of Forging had a backlog of low-grade magic tools. There must be hundreds of thousands of them. Bring them to me as well."
’They’re just collecting dust or waiting to be re-forged anyway. Might as well bring them here as a welcoming gift for the country.’
Aaron Sinclair asked, "Mom, what are you going to do with all that junk?"
Celeste Grant smiled faintly. "Though they’re only low-grade magic tools, their power is still considerable. They’re perfect for Cultivators with low Cultivation levels."
Aaron Sinclair understood immediately.
"Fine, I’ll bring them over."
"I’ll also select a batch of Mid Grade Spiritual Artifacts and top-grade magic tools, along with some Elixir Pills. You can give them to your country over there."
"Mom, I have to go for now, I’ve got things to do here. I’ll contact you when I’m free."
"Okay, bye-bye."
In the blink of an eye,
her son’s figure vanished.
"That’s truly amazing."
Celeste Grant glanced at them and said, "This is Cultivation. Don’t be surprised by anything you see."
"By the way, Commander, I have something for you."
As she spoke, she waved her hand, and in that instant, seven or eight chests appeared on her living room floor. With a light flick of her finger, the chests opened.
She pointed at the chests and explained, "These contain the most orthodox Cultivation Methods from both The Immortal and Demonic Paths. There’s a wide variety, including techniques for Artifact Refining, Alchemy, and Arrays. Basically, I collected everything I thought was good, and it’s all in here."
She looked up at them and added a word of caution.
"Everyone’s constitution is different, so their suitable method of Cultivation will also be different. Some are suited for Cultivation, others for Devil Cultivation. In a sense, there’s no real difference between them; it’s just that the cultivation lineages are not the same. This is my offering to the nation. I hope you will make good use of it."
She was an Earthling.
A citizen of Veridia.
This was all she could do.
The moment Celeste Grant finished speaking, everyone, led by the military commander, stood up and saluted her.
"Salute!"
「In that moment.」
They understood the meaning of a peerless patriot, of selfless dedication.
Such loyalty to the nation moved even the commander himself. They couldn’t help but imagine the constant life-or-death struggles in the Cultivation World. And yet, there she was, all alone in that world, still thinking of them and preparing so much on their behalf.
Spirit Veins, Cultivation Techniques—she had prepared everything for them.
The military commander stepped forward and shook Celeste Grant’s hand.
"Comrade Celeste Grant, you are our pride. On behalf of the nation and its people, I thank you for your selfless contribution." The commander bowed slightly, a gesture of the highest respect.
Celeste Grant returned the gesture and said, "There’s no need to be so formal, Commander. It’s what I should do."
’Of course, she was patriotic; making the nation strong is everyone’s responsibility. But the main reason was that she didn’t want to come back to Earth in the future only to breathe in impure energy and car exhaust. She needed Spiritual Energy, vast amounts of it. Therefore, promoting Cultivation was an absolute must.’
"Comrade Celeste Grant, you’ve gifted the nation Spirit Veins and contributed so many Cultivation Methods. Your contribution is so immense that we’re not sure how to properly reward you. So please, feel free to name any condition. As long as it’s within our power, we will do our best to satisfy you. Furthermore, in light of your great service, I, on behalf of the nation’s military, hereby specially award you the First-Class Merit medal, along with a monetary reward."
A First-Class Merit.
’Even though I’m a Cultivator now, this First-Class Merit... it’s still a little exciting.’
Overjoyed, Celeste Grant said, "Commander, I offered these things not for fame or fortune, but simply to do my part in making our homeland stronger. I don’t need any rewards or conditions. I don’t need any of that. If you absolutely insist on giving me something, then I’ll accept this First-Class Merit medal as a memento."
"Good, what a good child."
Afterward, Celeste Grant chatted with the people from the government for a while longer. She explained some common knowledge about Cultivation and also went over the Cultivation Levels.
Then, they left in high spirits. After they were gone, Celeste Grant could feel that the security around her house had become even tighter.
Life after that...
was relatively peaceful.
「Three days later.」
A government department delivered the official red certificates and the First-Class Merit medal. They also deposited several hundred million into her bank account as a reward.
In addition, the military unanimously decided to specially appoint her as a Cultivation expert for a special national department. In other words, at her young age, she had secured a stable government job—an "iron rice bowl"—without even needing to clock in and out for work.
’Hahaha, this feels pretty good.’
The government’s intention was for her to guide their Cultivation training when she had free time. After all, when it came to Cultivation, she was now an expert.
However, they probably knew she wouldn’t be staying on Earth for long, so they just gave her an honorary position.
To this,
Celeste Grant had no objection whatsoever.
She decided on the spot to start guiding a batch of people in their Cultivation ahead of schedule.
Then, she contacted the government and handed over a batch of Spirit Stones.
’Her thinking was, in for a penny, in for a pound. Before the Spiritual Energy Revival, she would help the nation produce its first batch of Cultivators. This group could then teach the next generation. That way, once the world’s Spiritual Energy revived, Cultivation for all wouldn’t just be a dream.’
