Chapter 73: Son of a...bitch?

"Elven Lord, if you have a problem with those Titans, then why did you allow such trash to sit among us?"

Emperal’s brows twitched; it wasn’t just him. Soleine narrowed her eyes, too. Turning their heads, they saw the man who had just spoken.

It was a man beside...Seraveth. He was grinning when he said those words. He was the subordinate of Blazefang.

Even Zeratheil was surprised when he heard this; this was...nothing but spitting on Soleine’s face.

The Dragon Lord’s face contorted violently; he snapped his head back, his eyes glowing.

"What the heck are you doing?"

Faced with the Emperor’s wrath himself, the man suddenly found himself at a loss. His eyes shook as he turned towards the Dragon Princess.

It was her specific advice to worsen Emperal’s situation when she had arrived here and felt him.

"Father—"

"Seraveth"

The Dragon Lord’s cold voice cut her words short; she looked at him in surprise, a vein popping on his forehead.

"This is an...important summit for the Dragon Race. Who gave you permission to stir up trouble? And that too...in front of me."

"Father... I–I."

Seraveth stuttered; even she didn’t expect such a strong reaction from her father. Although she had indeed instructed him to stir up trouble.

She had expected him to at least do it at the end, when the tension would be less and the audience bored.

Just now, even Soleine openly went against the Elven King...that should be enough of a message to everyone strong. Seraveth’s face darkened; she glared at the man behind, who almost pissed himself in fear.

"This fool! He really messed up! But it shouldn’t be too late. Emperal is not a fool; he won’t let that provocation go—"

"What did you just say?"

A cold voice echoed. It wasn’t heavy like Aldric or the Dragon Lord. It wasn’t ancient or overbearing like the Elven Lord.

But...it had a will. And it matched these old existences.

Seraveth snapped her head in shock; it came from Emperal’s building, no less.

The screen protecting the buildings vanished, revealing Emperal’s strong figure.

His dark eyes locked onto Seraveth. "I see you are still after me. The last time, I was weak, and nobody had my back."

He stepped forward and jumped onto the stage, his speed surprising.

"Dumb Blonde, I would very much love to have your neck twisted by my dear Empress. But...I won’t do that. Because you can only die by my hands."

Emperal spoke, and the present cultivators were dumbfounded when they heard that.

"T-This man..."

Marren stumbled when she heard that, her muscles tightened as she felt drawn towards his voice.

But of course, nobody sensed anything unusual in her expression; everybody was focused on the man standing below.

Wusha frowned when she saw the young man’s actions.

"Hey! Young man, this stage is not for your personal ven—!!"

Before she could even continue her words, a chill ran down her spine. From high above the buildings, a pair of chilling golden eyes bore down on her.

"Hm? This stage...what?"

"Eeek! Nothing, nothing!!"

Wusha ran off the stage, going as far as possible. Indeed, the smartest girl in the hall.

Seraveth was stunned for a moment; her mind couldn’t process it.

"What did you just...call me?"

Emperal smirked when he heard that. "Dumb Blonde, should I repeat it?"

"That’s enough!! How dare you insult this princess!?"

Several veins popped on her forehead, only to become thicker when she saw Emperal’s smirk widen.

"What? What are you gonna do about it? Tell your Daddy?"

"!!!!"

"This brat! His balls are...otherworldly!"

Seventh sucked in a cold breath when he heard Emperal’s words.

"He really dared to insult the Dragon Lord himself. And what is his cultivation? A...Verth Seeker"

Marren muttered, much to Aldric’s amusement.

"I like this boy’s attitude," Aldric smiled, further surprising the duo standing behind.

...

The Dragon Lord of Draventhar—Alzerath Vulcarion raised his brows when he heard Emperal’s words. His eyes shifted to Seraveth, who was one step away from jumping onto the stage.

He, of course, didn’t take a brat’s words to heart. Just a flick of his finger was enough to end thousands of Emperals...over and over.

He looked at the thing that made this brat’s confidence soar.

"Nirvana...what is the meaning of this?"

His eyes glowed slightly when he spoke, the pressure in his voice was as heavy as Emperal’s balls.

But before she could speak, Emperal’s voice once again rang out.

"What is this? Weren’t you so high and mighty during the tournament? What’s the matter now?"

"SHUT UP!"

Seraveth roared, her entire swan-like neck turning red in rage.

"L-Lady Seraveth, calm down!"

Elder Blazefang tried to intervene, but was immediately shot down.

"As I thought, you are nothing but a coward behind that arrogant mask of yours."

Seraveth’s chest rose and fell fiercely.

"You insignificant insect..." Seraveth’s voice shook. "Do you truly think that standing behind the Phoenix Empress gives you the right to bark at me?"

Emperal laughed out loud when he heard this, making her face twitch even further.

"Hiding? Hah! I am right here on this stage. Come down here if you have the guts."

"You—!!!"

"All that vanity, pride, and arrogance...and yet, just a single sentence of mine is enough to make you lose control. Truly a pampered brat."

The ordinary leaders, such as the Leader of the Aurelian Pact, the Merchant Union, the Eternal Forge Leader, and some minor clans, swallowed hard.

What was this? This was blatant disrespect.

"That’s enough, boy. You dare insult the Dragon Clan while still being a Dragon yourself. Your parents did a really bad job raising you."

Elder Blazefang snorted out loud, his nasty words further escalating the situation.

Emperal chuckled, "So you do know that I’m from the Dragon Clan, huh? Though I wouldn’t know how my parents raised me. I am one hundred percent sure you are a bastard son of a bitch. Sit down when you are not being talked to."

"Hisss!!!"

"THAT’S ENOUGH! HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME! GARAO, GO AND CRIPPLE THAT BRAT THIS INSTANT!"

Elder BlazeFang couldn’t bear it any longer; he roared at the man who had insulted Emperal earlier.

"Heh, just what I needed."

Garao jumped from his spot and landed right in front of Emperal. He smirked down at the man.

"Boy, let’s see how you deal with this."
