The Azure Scale Void Serpent was one of the most dangerous god beasts to ever wield the energy of the void during the Primordial Era. Back then, there were only a few beasts who could contend with him in the aspect of Void Mastery.

One of them was the Primordial Chaos Dragon.

Because of this, his respect for Chaos was on another level. It was even said that, at one point during the Primordial Era, he studied under the Chaos Dragon.

In fact, regardless of whether or not he studied under the Chaos Dragon, the fact that he fought side by side with him during the great war shows the kind of beast he is.

Legends even have it that the Primordial and Great Records contain accounts of legendary beings who lived during the Primordial Era, and that his name is among them.

Many don’t recognize the kind of legend Inaya had found herself locked in battle against at the moment. If they knew, perhaps they would have seen Inaya in a new light, for there is just no telling what kind of talent one needed to be able to contend with a beast whose entire existence is linked to the void.

Her understanding of the sword is indeed deep.

After five hours locked in fierce battle, the two of them paused, and under everyone’s stunned gaze, Tharos transformed into his humanoid form, taking on the appearance of a 6’4 slightly muscular man with short dark hair and a void tattoo on his forehead.

It was when he turned human that many realized he was a Peak-Level Early Supreme.

This left some of the Real and True Supremes wondering whether they would have survived an hour against Tharos.

Their shock, however, had just begun.

Tharos took a deep breath and regarded Inaya, his gaze focused on the grey mask on her face.

"The energy of despair," he muttered, his eyes narrowing a bit. "This is my first time seeing someone wield despair as sword intent."

Inaya smiled behind her mask. "There is a first time for everything."

Against the first beast, Black Fang, she used Wrath, but against Tharos, she is using Despair.

The reason for this decision was because of the void-like nature of the Despair Sword Dao. Going against someone who had mastered the void to the point they could become one with it means she must also have a way to mitigate that boon.

Thankfully, the Sword Dao of Despair helped her.

Tharos nodded at her reply. "I suppose you can say that. As you live and experience many things, you are bound to meet those who don’t make sense. I met a few in my days, but one of them stood out."

"The Primordial Chaos Dragon," Inaya said, knowing full well where Tharos was going with his words.

She had already had a heart-to-heart conversation with Kent before he left for the Star Gateway mission. When Kent told her to use his name to invoke the Beast God Trial, she knew people would wonder and want to know where she got his permission from.

When she asked what she should say, Kent smiled and said:

"Just tell them I am back and that you met me. Already, forming my Chaos Heart had drawn the attention of many, so hiding my rebirth is of no use. Of course, don’t tell them who I am and where I am."

"What if they threaten me?"

Kent chuckled. "If they threaten you, then you have my permission to use my name as many times as you want until I run out of energy. But for my soul’s sake, only use it eight times."

"I only have a question, and depending on your answer, the outcome of this battle will be determined. Also, before you feel overconfident, know that just like how Black Fang used only 25% of his full strength, I’ve also done the same. But that can change soon depending on your answer.."

Hearing his words, many sucked in a deep breath, wondering whether he was merely bragging or if the power he had shown over the past five hours was indeed only 25% of his total strength.

Inaya willed the mask of Despair to vanish from her face and smiled.

"No need to bother, senior. I know you want to ask where I got the permission to use the Primordial Chaos Dragon’s name from." She paused and scanned the entire environment, now filled with thousands of powerhouses, some already at the peak of the Celestial stage.

Clearly, judging by the looks on their faces, they all wanted to hear what she was about to say.

The Chaos Dragon is an idol to every living soul. His sacrifice gave the universe a second chance, so they all wanted to know where she got his permission from.

"Actually, the truth of the matter is, the Primordial Chaos Dragon is still alive, and I am his disciple."

"WHAT?!"

Gasps spread everywhere, many feeling their bodies tremble with sheer delight.

"T-the Primordial Chaos Dragon is alive."

"The Primordial Chaos Dragon is alive!"

Cheers followed, and before long, many started spreading the word. The Chaos Dragon is alive, and the fact that Inaya confirmed it was enough to tell that it is indeed true.

The Supremes and Celestials who came with nefarious reasons took a step back, some even wiping the insidious ideas they came with from their minds.

If Inaya is indeed the disciple of the Primordial Chaos Dragon, then going against her is akin to going against that monster. Anyone who had ever crossed him during the Primordial Era felt his wrath.

So staying away from her was the only logical thing to do.

Of course, there are those who just can’t take a hint.

On the ground, Vexthra gave Inaya a thumbs-up. She knew Inaya lied just so she could protect herself from the bad guys. Attacking Chaos’s disciple is just plain stupidity bundled in a cloth of craziness.

Tharos stood there for a few minutes, his gaze never leaving Inaya. After he had stared enough, he took a deep breath and slowly bowed.

"In that case, I accept defeat."

A wise man once said, "It is better to accept greatness when it is being offered than to stupidly try to prove yourself when greatness is free."

By becoming Inaya’s contracted beast, he would be one step closer to meeting Chaos again. That is what a smart person does, and Inaya knew that, so she didn’t argue.

"I accept your defeat and restraint during the battle."

Tharos smiled. "It wasn’t my doing, my lady. But invoking the name of the Primordial Chaos Dragon, you had inadvertently made it so we all can use just 25% of our power. I was merely bluffing when I said I would use my full strength later."

Inaya nodded, but inwardly she finally understood why Kent wore that shameless smile when he told her to invoke his name during her tribulation.

’Ah, why do I always fall for the shameless ones... well, he is the same person, so... ahhh, what am I even thinking about?’

Struggling to pull her mind back, she watched as a green rune flew from Tharos and merged with her forehead. She was about to send Tharos into her soul sea when the five remaining banners trembled and expanded, each forming a portal.

Soon, five legendary Primordial Beasts appeared, each carrying an aura that left many wondering if they were indeed using just 25% of their total power.
