"So, how many Innate Talents do I have left to awaken?" Kent asked as he turned to the Bloodline Skill Tree. Looking at the many fruits hanging off its branches, he couldn’t help but wonder how many he is eligible to awaken.

"The master is now eligible to unlock 12 Innate Talents. It was 25 initially, but as you continue to level up, some of them are unlocked automatically to aid your cultivation.

So for now, the master can unlock 12. You can unlock 4 for your Dragon side, 2 for your Evil side, 2 for your Flame side, and the last 2 for your Blood side."

"I see." The last time he used the skill fruits, he unlocked two Innate Talents: [Blood Calamity Fist] and [Chaos Scale Shield].

Right now, he could tell that both skills had become extremely powerful. The [Chaos Scale Shield] was now on another level.

In fact, as he pulled up the details of the newly upgraded [Chaos Scale Shield], something caught his attention. He could now sense that his Innate Skills had something new attached to them.

Each had a section called Rating, with stars acting as the level.

On the [Chaos Scale Shield], he saw three stars, while the [Blood Calamity Fist] had two stars. Shockingly enough, the [Dragon Gaze] and [Dragon Tail Whip] each had a four-star rating.

"Tower, what are the ratings attached to the Innate Skills?"

Tower giggled and puffed her flat chest out. "I know the master can already tell the Innate Skills have become stronger. That happened because of the rating.

Every star represents a 10,000-times boost in all aspects of the skill. Once the stars reach 5, the skill can be upgraded to the next level. So 3 starts means 30,000 times stronger."

"Oh, that is a bit convenient then. How can I increase the stars?"

"The master needs Innate Points. You can earn those by completing quests or leveling up."

Kent smiled, his expression filled with satisfaction. He never truly expected this breakthrough to the True Immortal stage to yield this many rewards.

Not only had he become stronger, but everything else around him had also become much stronger.

Just beyond the Bloodline Skill Tree, he could see the concepts of his innate realms: the Genesis Sword Realm, the Faceless Shadow Realm, and the Evil Realm.

While he had yet to even reach the Sword Divine stage, his understanding was already comparable to a Sword Legend. So with his strength as an Immortal, no swordsman below the Sword Legend stage could contend with him.

He had already been informed that a sword competition would take place in three years’ time. By then, he would be at the Sword Divine stage, which would qualify him to participate.

The second realm, being the newly awakened one—the Evil Realm that was once called the Negative Zero Ruthless Realm—had now become part of Kent’s collection of realms, and so he could easily wield it.

Aside from that, the Faceless Shadow Realm had become much stronger compared to when he first awakened it.

Kent knew something had changed about it, since it had become much more potent.

However, he held back from checking it out and instead walked to the location where Gaap sat in a lotus posture, a demonic-looking figure seated across from him.

Channels of resentful energy could be seen coming from the demonic being and entering Gaap. Kent smiled faintly, knowing full well that soon, his Living Sword would become monstrous.

The moment they ascended to the Immortal World, they would start clashing with the gods. It is a known fact that he is someone many are interested in, so battles aren’t out of the equation.

Ascending from Immortal to the God World was not a strict requirement, so he knew it wouldn’t be long before he and the gods started clashing.

Having a powerful sword alongside his Spear of Evil would surely come in handy.

After standing there for a few minutes, he moved to the last place.

He appeared before a red rune oozing a mixture of terrifying Chaos and Blood Qi. One could sense a terrifying pressure coming from it.

The first time Kent touched this, he nearly died.

Today, as he sighed and reached out, a smile appeared on his face.

His first-ever Primordial-grade technique, the [Claw Art], was finally within his grasp.

Already, Bhaalzhar (Slaughter King) had told him that before he could learn that technique, he must first form and saturate his Blood Cores.

He did that when he was at the Heavenly Ascension stage. He saturated both at the Tier 19 stage. While he is still required to saturate them after becoming an Immortal, he has already completed the requirement.

The second requirement was for him to absorb at least ten Blood Life and Death Seals each. Kent had already formed 25 of each, so he was secure.

The third required him to awaken all Blood Runes/Seals, which he did and even added more. Instead of 105,000 Blood Seals, he had formed 250,000. That, in a way, had pushed him even further.

Funny enough, Kent knew that as he formed more Blood Cores, more Blood Runes would keep forming. He couldn’t wait to meet Bhaalzhar again and brag to him.

As for the fourth requirement, Kent knew it was unnecessary, not when he had already become an Immortal.

If he were still a mortal, he would have tried cultivating the second form of the [Bone Tempering Art], where he would have had to create Blood Tattoos.

Now, he didn’t have to do that.

While he is required to form blood tattoos, he doesn’t need them to learn the technique.

The remaining requirements were all basic, so with a smile on his face, he reached for the rune, and the next second, he was back in the desert.

"Alright, let’s see what you are made of," Kent said in a serious tone as he focused his eyes ahead.

Just when he did, the clouds churned, and the ground trembled. Kent felt his body shake; however, he stood his ground and continued to stare at the attack coming from the clouds.

The clouds suddenly parted, and a dragon claw appeared, a terrifying intent coating it. Then, with a simple swing, four devastating claw arcs flashed out, and before Kent could react, the dunes of sand parted and lava gushed out.

The entire world he was in was shattered, debris flying far and wide.

"Oh my..." Kent felt his body tense, and for a moment, the thought of running appeared in his mind. However, just before he could act, his body appeared in another world identical to the destroyed one.

Just when he appeared, a voice he recognized all too well entered his head. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

"You seek to learn my first-ever Primordial grade Technique. To be worthy of my legacy, you must endure five attacks..." The voice hadn’t even finished when the claw appeared again and swung, producing the same devastating result.

A few seconds later, he was back in the same place, and the claw appeared again. By then, Kent started to feel his body growing heavy.

He didn’t allow the sluggishness to overwhelm him, not when he still had attacks to endure. Just then, another strike came, and the results were even more devastating.

However, Kent endured, waiting for the final attack. When the claw descended, it carried an overwhelmingly oppressive force, the kind that left Kent pale like a sheet.

Even so, he endured, channeling his will to survive. In the end, he survived, and before he knew it, billions of runes flew and entered his head.

[You have obtained your first Primordial-grade technique: Claw Art]

When he appeared back inside his soul sea, he felt more energized.

He knew it would take some time to master the first form of the technique. However, with the technique now in his hands, he had nothing to worry about.

The question now was, what exactly is Dragon Intent?
