As Shi Lan’s palm fell against her buttocks, something rushed through her, slamming against her network of nerves. Sui Rong’s entire body seemed to shut down from the overload of what surged through her.

As he was about to stand up, Sui Rong caught his leg. Looking away from him, she mumbled.

"I just said it’s a lot of money... I never said I wouldn’t pay it."

Shi Lan nodded subtly.
