The main objective was more or less complete. Looking at the barren surroundings, Shen Fei took a deep breath and ran down to meet up with 0. The mission was done, and it was time to leave.

Once he got back to Mist City, he planned to take V and return to Qing City. Or... he could call his parents over to help him propose...

The thought of meeting a girl like V in the apocalypse, one who so perfectly captured his heart, filled Shen Fei with excitement and daydreams.

Leaving the rooftop, Shen Fei quickly ran into the building. He needed to find 0 so they could return to Mist City together. 0 had helped him repair the *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* game server, and he had helped her find the final Divine Artifact fragment. She was also V’s leader. Shen Fei held a great deal of respect for 0; she was the leader of [Ethereum Punk], after all. More importantly, she’s my future sister-in-law...

Even though she had pinched his butt earlier, Shen Fei chalked it up to the lingering side effects of the aphrodisiac. Once he helped 0 complete her mission, the next step was to go back and propose to V. They had only known each other for three days, but it was the apocalypse. Everything should be kept simple! Besides, the two of them "cooperated" so well that Shen Fei was already prepared to propose as soon as he got back.

"Sister-in-law!" he shouted as he headed downstairs. "Sister-in-law!"

Ready to take her and leave immediately, he called out for 0. With thoughts of V on his mind, Shen Fei had unconsciously changed how he addressed her.

"Huh? So this is where you were? Why didn’t you answer when I called!"

Rounding a corner, Shen Fei saw 0 standing frozen in the darkness.

"Sister-in-law!"

Without a second thought, he excitedly ran over.

"HYAH!"

To his surprise, he was greeted by a sharp little dagger. The moment he got close, 0 puffed out her cheeks, her eyes wide with fury, and viciously stabbed at him. The dagger’s target was none other than Shen Fei’s waist.

"What the—! What’s going on!?"

Seeing the dagger striking at his waist like a bolt of lightning, Shen Fei’s face instantly paled in horror. My waist is precious! My future blissful life with V depends on it.

CLANG!

In his frantic haste, he recognized the weapon as the Divine Artifact, the Scamming Waist Cutter. Shen Fei had no choice but to immediately pull out his own Divine Artifact, the Nine-Phase Divine Bottle, to meet the attack. Only a Divine Artifact could block a Divine Artifact.

CLANG!

After a crisp ringing sound, the two collided. Then, something happened that left Shen Fei completely dumbfounded. He watched as the small dagger in 0’s hand plunged perfectly straight into the mouth of the Nine-Phase Divine Bottle. Whether by coincidence or something else, the mouth of the shrunken bottle was the perfect size, fitting snugly around the dagger. The two items fused together flawlessly.

GULP.

As he controlled the Nine-Phase Divine Bottle to hold onto 0’s dagger, Shen Fei couldn’t help but swallow hard. This... this really is a coincidence! This...

"Wait!"

0’s expression changed in an instant. Seeing her, in a state of shame and fury, start to pull out two more Divine Artifacts with her other hand, Shen Fei hurriedly shouted, "Stop!"

Seeing that the enraged 0 had no intention of stopping, a helpless Shen Fei could only wave his hand and summon his Vine Tower. He immediately had the vines, now as thick as fingers, bind her. 0 had suddenly gone berserk for some unknown reason and attacked him. Shen Fei didn’t know what was happening. He even wondered if this was a side effect of the aphrodisiac from earlier, causing her to hallucinate.

The Vine Tower instantly trussed 0 up tightly. Worried that she could still use her mysterious Ethereum Editor technique, Shen Fei waved his hand again and deployed all of his Domain Defense Towers. Towers like Silence, Law, Magic Ban, Spatial Stability, and others—Shen Fei released them all in one go.

"What’s wrong with you!?" Having restrained 0 with a wave of his hand, Shen Fei finally exclaimed in shock. "What happened?"

He looked at 0, who was trapped inside the domains, unable to speak or move. Completely helpless, her large eyes welled up with aggrieved tears, leaving Shen Fei even more bewildered. What on earth is wrong with her? Why did she suddenly attack me? And with a Divine Artifact, no less?

"I’m going to let you speak! Let’s talk this out! Stop messing with me..."

While controlling the Healing Tower to send streams of green light into 0’s body, trying to clear out any drug effects that might be affecting her mind, Shen Fei shouted to her.

"Okay, don’t get agitated! I’m letting go now. Don’t move!"

With his hand raised defensively, Shen Fei shouted as he released the Silence domain affecting 0. He was worried the mysterious Ethereum Editor technique could be cast verbally, which was why he had used the Silence domain in the first place.

"Let! Me! Go!" Now able to speak, 0 shouted viciously.

"What is wrong with you, Sister-in-law?" Seeing that 0 could communicate, Shen Fei asked loudly.

"Shut up!"

Before he could even finish his question, 0 was already screaming at him.

"Alright, alright, I won’t ask, I won’t ask! Don’t get worked up, don’t get worked up."

He saw that as 0 was shouting, fresh tears were welling up in her eyes, so he quickly dropped the subject.

"Stop! Stop shining that green light on me!" 0 roared again.

SWOOSH.

At her shout, the green healing light that had been rapidly descending upon her head also stopped.
