However, just as the tornadoes moved to the edge of Qing City Airport and were about to touch the origin point of the Undead Calamity, they suddenly stopped.

Sensing the first of his created tornadoes beginning to dissipate, an idea sparked in Shen Fei’s mind. It was time for a change of plans.

His Defense Towers could currently reach 50km, entirely because their range had been enhanced. This range enhancement, however, had a limited duration. Once the enhancement ended, his tornadoes would be forced to retreat to a mere 5km range. That, of course, was unacceptable. Although he could conjure the tornadoes indefinitely without any cost, he couldn’t stand guard here 24/7. The problem had to be solved in a way that didn’t require constant effort.

Soon, he summoned a new Defense Tower from his inherited collection—a tower with exceptionally powerful single-target attacks, devastating against stationary targets: the Star-Slaying Tower! After summoning the futuristic-looking tower, Shen Fei immediately adjusted its range to 50km. Then, he aimed it at the center of Qing City Airport and fired.

A horde like this has to have a source.

He had already tested his Wind, Fire, and Rain Towers wantonly, without holding back in the slightest. Unwilling to waste any more time, Shen Fei activated the Star-Slaying Tower to unleash its Star-Slaying Strike.

Although the range limit prevented him from controlling the Detection Tower to see what the airport looked like after being annihilated, seeing that no more monsters were spawning from there told him all he needed to know. The fledgling Monster Nest had been wiped out by a single shot.

"Not bad!"

From its appearance to its end just now, the Undead Calamity had lasted less than an hour. Shen Fei didn’t know what this event’s swift conclusion meant to other people, but for him, it was an excellent testing opportunity. The Undead Calamity had finally given him a chance to unleash the attacks of four of his Defense Towers at full power, and he was very satisfied with the results.

Because of the use limit, he couldn’t boost the range of all his Defense Towers beyond 50km to test them all. He had only managed to test the abilities of four of them. Now that the Undead Calamity was cleared, he still had one last chance to boost a tower’s range.

Shen Fei was completely unfazed by the Undead Calamity he had just so easily cleared.

This is nothing! The game abilities have only been inherited for two days; the truly powerful monsters haven’t even appeared yet. The Undead Calamity was strong, yes, but the one that just erupted was nothing more than a drizzle. People are only panicking because humanity has inherited so few abilities so far. Once they’ve seen more, a minor event like this won’t cause much of a stir. A truly powerful Undead Calamity is one that moves like an organized army, led by an Invincible boss, advancing by land, sea, and air, turning the very earth into a frozen, cataclysmic domain!

This counts as a Super Boss, right! Even though it hasn’t fully matured, it’s definitely a Super Boss!
