"Gong Bei also lives there," Mu Qiancheng said with a smile.

"I see." Jiang Xue laughed. It seems Wang Yuning and Gong Bei truly are connected by fate.

"What’s wrong?" Wang Yuning, puzzled, looked at the dazed Gong Bei, wondering if she had startled him with the location she mentioned.

"It’s nothing!" Gong Bei regained his senses upon hearing Wang Yuning’s voice and said with a smile, "Miss Wang, it seems we’re indeed meant to be. I happen to live in the government compound too."

"Really?" Now it was Wang Yuning’s turn to be stunned, unable to imagine Gong Bei living in the same compound as her. It seems like they might develop their relationship further in the future.

Because they lived in the same compound, Gong Bei and Wang Yuning quickly became acquainted. Watching the two chat non-stop, Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng found it amusing.

As for Little Reunion, he was already sleepy and quickly fell asleep in Mu Qiancheng’s arms after getting in the car.

Soon they arrived at the government compound. Gong Bei didn’t get out because he had to drive Mu Qiancheng and the others back. However, he exchanged addresses and phone numbers with Wang Yuning and planned to visit her the following day when he had free time.

Mu Qiancheng and Jiang Xue thanked Gong Bei before heading to their apartment building. The building was quite tall, with fifteen floors, but fortunately, there was an elevator, and they quickly reached the top floor where their apartment was.

They slept well. When Jiang Xue woke the next morning, it was already past nine o’clock. She had slept heavily and woke up late. Upon opening her eyes, she realized Mu Qiancheng was no longer in the room.

Not finding Mu Qiancheng, Jiang Xue quickly got out of bed and went to freshen up. After washing up, she walked to the living room and found a note left by Mu Qiancheng on the coffee table.
