When the time came, Caleb White finally came downstairs.

Everyone looked at the old man with white hair and quieted down.

"Today, besides my birthday, there is another happy occasion to announce." The elder’s calm and powerful voice spread clearly through the hall via the microphone.

Many people were puzzled, while some suspiciously glanced at Bella Green, wondering if it had to do with her.

As they were pondering, Caleb White on stage revealed a rare smile.

"Today, we are also announcing the engagement of our second young master of the White Family."

Old Mr. White spoke as he beckoned to Joanna Ramsey below, smiling kindly.

Below, Joanna Ramsey in a pink dress twisted her hands together, biting her lips tightly, her heart about to leap out.

She knew that once she walked on stage, she would be bound to becoming the wife of someone in the White Family.

Yet, she had no other choice.

She stepped forward, slowly walked onto the stage, to Caleb White’s side, and placed her hand on the elder’s large hand.

Joanna Ramsey looked at the heads surging below, feeling even more nervous.

With so many eyes on her, her heart was about to jump out, her voice seemed to stiffen.

"Hello everyone, I am Joanna Ramsey."

A very simple and clichéd self-introduction, yet it earned a round of applause.

"Due to health reasons, Mason couldn’t attend today, but the two kids have a very good relationship, Joanna will go back to be with Mason tomorrow."

Caleb White deliberately emphasized, although the second young master couldn’t be present, the couple’s relationship was very strong.

This was a veiled way of supporting Joanna Ramsey.

Ensuring no one would underestimate Joanna Ramsey due to Mason’s absence.
