Mason glanced indifferently at him without saying a word.

Next to him, Nicholas looked frustrated, covering his face with his hand.

Embarrassing, never seen anything so embarrassing.

But Dean himself was still complacent, arrogantly raising his chin and looking sarcastically at Mason.

He thought to himself: With that emotional intelligence, he dares to compete with me.

Thinking this, he immediately grabbed the menu in front of Nicholas and eagerly handed it to Bella Green, smiling widely.

"Miss Green, what do you like to eat? Don’t be shy, order whatever you want."

His ingratiating manner amused Bella.

Just as she was about to raise her hand to take the menu, Mason snatched it away and tossed it to Nicholas.

"Order’s done, serve the dishes."

Dean was stunned by his words and quickly called the waiter.

"Hey, wait a moment, I haven’t ordered yet!"

He hadn’t ordered anything, how could the dishes be served already?

Eleanor had ordered earlier, and none of Mason’s choices were his favorites.

Nicholas couldn’t bear it anymore, named a few dishes, and then waved the waiter off.

Hearing those dish names, all his favorites, Dean finally relented.

After ordering, he didn’t forget to comment to Bella.

"Miss Green, you see, he’s the ultimate straight man, lacks humor, lacks romance."

Bella raised an eyebrow, smiling with more amusement at the man beside her who apparently lacked humor and romance.

Lacks charm, lacks romance?

Bella thought for a moment, then lowered her head and laughed silently.

Her brother Mason’s romance and charm might only be understood by her.

Like the dishes he casually ordered, all of which she loved.

Isn’t this unspoken understanding a kind of romance?

This smile in Dean’s eyes turned into one of agreement.

He immediately puffed up his chest proudly and looked at Mason, feeling immensely satisfied.

Nicholas watched Dean’s smug expression, utterly speechless.

At this point, he still hadn’t realized the relationship between Mason and Bella?

Bella also didn’t have the heart to keep fooling him and was about to speak when Mason spoke first.

"Naturally not as much as your truckload of ex-girlfriends with whom you understood charm and romance."

Once again mentioning the truckload of ex-girlfriends, Dean’s face turned red, staring resentfully at Mason, furious but silent.

How could one forget about that truckload of ex-girlfriends?

"Well, if you say so, it suddenly reminds me, didn’t you used to say you had a fiancée?"

Dean suddenly remembered this, grinning mischievously and looking at Mason, laughing with sheer delight.

Bella heard this and was taken aback, looking at Mason beside her.

Mason heard it and looked at Dean as if he were a fool.

"At least have some limits when making up stories."

Mason looked at him calmly, his gaze utterly confident, unyielding.

He indeed has a fiancée, but that fiancée is Bella.

Dean clearly didn’t know their relationship, but he said it like this, clearly intending to stir up trouble.

But Dean looked at him with a serious face, paused for a moment, then looked at him disdainfully.

"I say, Mason, this is just pointless. You said you had a fiancée back then, so now seeing Miss Green, you forget your fiancée just like that? How could I not have seen before that you had tendencies of a scumbag?"
