A devastating AOE psychic pulse suddenly erupted from the Federation General who was still in his psionic form in the psionic realm, affecting everywhere around him and catching Ren Nora also.

And finally, the rapid assault was interrupted for a brief fraction of a second, giving him a little breather and that was all General Sylvari needed.

He was still disoriented, but it didn’t matter.

He locked on Ren Nora’s position immediately, he was hiding just by his side!

Before Ren Nora could react, Sylvari’s psionic body suddenly erupted with so much neon green light that he turned into a mini sun in the psionic realm as targeting his left, it all exploded like a supernova!

Neural Tyrant!

Psionic Assault!

Mind Distortion!

Neural Burn!

It was the same insidious combination again.

Neural Tyrant to slow Ren Nora’s reaction speed and prevent him from dodging, then the combination of 3 harrowing mind abilities to deal him devastating damage in a single barrage.

Ren Nora’s psionic ghost form reeled from the devastating damage, but he didn’t try to retreat as instead he doubled down on his enemy.

But when he went on the offensive again, he suddenly realized that his enemy was no longer there.

That first clash was all General Sylvari needed to realize just how disadvantaged he was in the psionic realm in a battle with the ’Glitch’.

In here, Ren Nora was undoubtedly superior.

This was why after counterattacking, he decisively deactivated Neural Projection and left the psionic realm back to reality.

Like a ghost, he was gone.

Ren Nora froze, staring at the empty void in front of him with a stunned look on his face as he suddenly lost his opponent.

For a moment, he thought of stubbornly staying back here and forcing Sylvari to come fight him here. Afterall, the Federation General was the one agitating for a fight at this moment and not him but when he remembered that Leon was outside, he didn’t hesitate.

The 2 C Rank Ascended moved with such speed that they left afterimages in their wake; it was almost impossible to follow them as they moved.

Their silhouettes left blurs every time they attacked.

But the battle in reality didn’t last long as while they were straining to follow it, suddenly, General Ren Nora disappeared from reality!

Not hop from one spot to another, he literally disappeared.

As they were trying to wrap their brains around what just happened, before they could make sense of what actually happened, General Sylvari disappeared too, going to meet his enemy in wherever world where he currently was.

And for a few seconds after that, they watched, stunned, not seeing either of the 2 Generals but they could sense the harrowing violence of the still ongoing battle that was now in a realm that they could not sense.

They watched, stunned and tense, and before they knew it they were back.

General Sylvari Charr returned back to reality first and the moment he came back, their eyes widened as they saw his current state.

Though there was no visible injuries on his body, the General’s mechanical face was contorted in a pained grimace as he bled synthetic oil from his nose and his mouth.

He was still holding the great plasma Odachi.

Before they could blink...

General Ren Nora also returned to reality and within a fraction of a second of his return, without resting, he pounced on Sylvari in a hurricane of steel.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

For a few seconds after that, the world blurred into violent movement and the clangor of steel meeting steel as the 2 Generals moved across the wasteland in a blur, leaving devastation on the terrain in their wake.

Everywhere they moved, the ground cracked open and the terrain became terraformed in the harrowing clash of 2 C Rank NetRunners.

But after a few seconds, one thing was clear immediately.

Unlike when he fought against Leon when he looked indomitable and unstoppable with every clash, with the massive blade of the great plasma Odachi against his enemy’s short and sleek black daggers, it was clear that Sylvari was slower by a fraction of a second every clash.

And in battles of this level, tiny little details like that meant the difference as Ren Nora dominated the physical clash.

With his black daggers, he moved like a whirlwind of steel, pushing Sylvari back while leaving innumerable cuts on his sturdy mechanical skin.

But just like the onlookers saw it, General Sylvari Charr realized it too that Ren Nora was faster in this physical clash.

He thought of using his Mindbreaker abilities again, but then this time he decided to try a different route. He decided to do one better.

He decided to ramp things up and then...

Data Manifestation!

He triggered the core general ability of a C Rank Data Phantasm NetRunner.

Amid a tsunami of neon green ADE, General Sylvari Charr created 2 neon green cloned avatars of himself, and both clones simultaneously used Data Manifestation!

The first thing that the 2 cloned avatars created were extremely similar neon green replicas of the great plasma Odachi.

And then, alongside the original General Sylvari, they created 10 more neon green replicas of the great plasma Odachi, variations of them that floated in the air, aimed at the enemy with no one to wield them.

They moved in response to his will.

For a brief moment after this, time slowed down as the last vestiges of night disappeared, giving way to morning in Neo-Tokara.

And then, General Sylvari and his 2 cloned avatars alongside their army of great plasma Odachi replicas erupted in a whirlwind of violence aimed at their collective enemy, Ren Nora.

Under this brand new coordinated assault, Ren Nora was finally forced to stop in his tracks as his striking emerald eyes narrowed into slits.

His eyes gleamed, and then he also decided to ramp it up.
