Reborn as a Transcendent
Chapter 784Book 3: : Treatment Complete
“Go back and tell your bishop not to provoke me. Otherwise, bear the consequences yourselves.” Yae-hime withdrew the aura she had been releasing, not sparing even a glance at the fallen clerics. Having said her piece, she turned and left without hesitation.
The two soldiers stationed at the village entrance watched her sacred figure, now bathed in the golden glow of dusk. Their legs weakened, and before they realized it, they had slowly dropped to their knees, faces filled with the utmost reverence.
Not far away, the three clerics lay sprawled on the ground, wailing in agony. Their faces twisted grotesquely, their expressions feral and terrifying.
At that moment, endless regret surged through Oscar’s heart. If time could rewind even a little, he would have fled the moment that terrifying Lord Angel appeared. Dignity, pride, all of it could be thrown straight into the gutter.
Unfortunately, time could not be reversed. At least, not for him.
A flustered coachman hurried down from a luxurious beast carriage parked nearby. The three clerics lying on the ground were all his esteemed guests. If anything were to happen to them, the consequences would be unimaginable.
The coachman quickly sought help from the two soldiers, and together they managed to carry the three men onto the beast carriage. As for treatment, there was none to be had. Those who offended Lord Angel were not welcome in Aoma Village.
After offering repeated thanks, the coachman drove off at full speed, transporting the severely injured clerics back toward Jade City.
By the time Yae-hime returned home, Angelica and the others were already preparing dinner. Tonight’s meal was much earlier than usual.
After chatting idly with Allie and the others in her room for half an hour, everyone gathered in the dining hall. Angelica’s father had not returned. It seemed he was visiting a friend and would not be coming back tonight.
After finishing a hearty dinner, Yae-hime instructed Aurora to set up a barrier to prevent any unforeseen incidents during the recovery process. As a genius enchanter of Jade City, Aurora completed the task flawlessly in just an hour.
At this point, Fiat and the others stood guard downstairs, while only Yae-hime, Allie, and the two little ones remained in the guest room.
“Why aren’t you going out?” Allie asked, staring at Lili and Zerene.
“I want to stay with Little Hime,” Zerene said.
“I’m keeping an eye on her,” Lili added, pointing at Zerene beside her.
“I see. Do as you like,” Allie replied calmly. Then, she began removing her clothes one piece at a time, revealing her stunning figure.
The two little ones stared wide-eyed, completely transfixed. A wave of envy surged within them. Those long, flawless legs, that perfectly curved figure, so close to perfection… it was exactly what they longed for.
“Still lying down?” Allie turned to Yae-hime and asked. She paid no mind to the burning gazes of the two little ones.
“Lying down is fine,” Yae-hime said.
Allie obediently lay on the bed, her expression filled with anticipation. Soon… very soon, she would finally be free from the illness that had plagued her for so long and live a normal life.
Without another word, Yae-hime’s pupils turned emerald green as she activated her sight, and blazing green flames ignited in her hands. This treatment required no needles. She would use her own life flame to ignite the other’s body, forcing out all residual toxins and mutated energy.
The room fell completely silent. The two little ones stood quietly at a distance, watching the process unfold. Suddenly, Yae-hime pressed both hands onto Allie’s abdomen, and the green flames surged forth in a fierce, invasive wave.
In just three seconds, Allie’s body was completely enveloped in green fire. In the next instant, the flames filled her from within as well. A faint pain spread through her body. Allie understood clearly that this pain came from the virus and mutated energy resisting from within.
It was negligible. Utterly powerless. They were already at the end of their strength. Soon, the pain gradually faded, replaced by a tingling, numbing sensation. It was so comfortable it felt as though she might ascend.
As time passed, the sensation grew stronger and stronger, until Allie felt as if her very being was dissolving into bliss.
“So amazing…” Zerene whispered softly.
“Yeah,” Lili nodded.
They could clearly feel Allie’s aura surging at an astonishing rate.
Gradually, faint black particles began to drift out from Allie’s body. They were immediately seized by Yae-hime’s flames and gathered together.
Half an hour later, whether it was Lili and Zerene in the room or Layna and the others downstairs, all of them felt a terrifying aura. The entire house seemed to tremble in fear, quivering slightly as dust shook loose.
If not for Aurora’s barrier concealing it, that overwhelming aura would have already spread across the skies above Aoma Village. And finally, it would spread outward to the surrounding areas.
“……” Yae-hime remained fully focused, continuing to force the virus and mutated energy out of Allie’s body. Above her hovered a small emerald sphere of light, within which all the expelled substances were sealed.
Time passed, second by second, until Allie’s aura finally began to stabilize. Everyone let out a sigh of relief.
The pressure brought by that earlier aura had been immense. Angelica, whose strength was comparatively weaker, had already collapsed onto the ground, her body drenched in sweat.
Layna and Aurora were not faring much better. Their bodies trembled uncontrollably, their legs shaking as if strumming a frantic tune. Fiat still stood upright, but his face had turned deathly pale.
Inside the second-floor guest room, Lili and Zerene appeared calm on the surface, though their hearts were anything but. Especially Lili, who could clearly sense that Allie’s current strength was no longer far behind her own.
At this rate, after just a few days of recovery, she would likely catch up!
‘As expected of a powerhouse from the same era as Alicia…’ Lili thought to herself, her fingers curling slightly into a fist.
Zerene stared at Allie, an inexplicable trace of wariness rising in her heart.
“Phew, all done,” Yae-hime suddenly said, withdrawing her hands as she let out a soft breath. In the next instant, the emerald flames surrounding Allie rapidly dissipated, revealing a body as flawless and radiant as if newly reborn.
“Good work.” Lili quickly stepped forward, pulling out a handkerchief. Standing on her toes, she gently wiped Yae-hime’s spotless, sweatless face.
Zerene followed suit, though lacking a handkerchief, she simply reached out and began rubbing Yae-hime’s face with her small hands. It looked more like she was taking advantage of the situation.
On the other side, Allie slowly opened her eyes, disbelief written all over her face.
“A healthy body… at long last…” She raised her left hand and pressed it gently against her cheek, murmuring softly. Her voice trembled with both excitement and emotion. A moment later, crystal-clear tears slipped down from the corners of her eyes.
A wish she had held onto for so long had finally come true at this very moment. The emotions she felt were simply beyond words. Yae-hime, Lili, and Zerene said nothing. At a time like this, it was better to let her have a moment to herself.
After a while, Allie finally managed to calm her emotions. She stood up and looked toward Yae-hime, about to express her thanks, when she saw Yae-hime reach out and grasp the emerald sphere floating in midair.
Then, sitting cross-legged on the bed, she pressed the sphere directly into her chest. The sphere astonishingly merged into her body! Lili and Zerene were utterly confused. Wasn’t that sphere sealing away harmful substances? Why would Little Hime absorb it into herself? 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Allie, however, understood what she intended to do. She quietly stepped aside, then glanced at Lili and Zerene. With just her eyes, she signaled for them to remain silent.
At that very moment, a powerful surge of spatial power suddenly erupted from within Yae-hime’s body, sending faint ripples through the surrounding air.
