Jia Yan reached his conclusion after gradually understanding many Star River level feats.

Although there are some exceptions, most of the Star River level powerhouses are skilled at self-preservation, and this is absolutely unquestionable.

Hence, he pondered whether he possesses something the assassin desires, or something that makes it worthwhile for the assassin to risk a desperate battle with him.

"The other three Star River level beings might have been deceived by him with some sweet talk, which is evident from their quick retreat from war with me and even discussing compensation; this shows they just wanted to take advantage of my pre-promotion status. Perhaps the assassin promised them many benefits, hence their actions. Therefore, there’s no doubt they know something."

"Then the assassin... does he covet my Yin Yang Path? I believe the most valuable thing I possess is this self-created Yin Yang Path... but that doesn’t quite make sense."

Jia Yan thought the most valuable thing he has is his Yin Yang Path, but in reality, having a Star River level, even one dwelling at the Star River level for a long time, willing to ponder the Yin Yang Path with him is a deeply cherished scenario for Jia Yan; he would absolutely share many of his thoughts and ideas with such a being.

Since the Yin Yang Path was entirely self-created, Jia Yan is convinced there may be unrecognized aspects, and at this moment, having another being of higher realm appear to help analyze and organize the Yin Yang Path would be a blessing, and others would surely know this.

Unlike a complete path, if Jia Yan’s Yin Yang Path were perfect, he would certainly not share it with anyone else. However, since the issues with the Yin Yang Path are still unknown, sharing with others is possible, and he could even assist the assassin or another Star River level powerhouse to quickly transition to the Yin Yang Path.

Unfortunately, this situation is, instead, undesirable to others. For a well-established Star River level being to aid you in a new path already consumes much of their energy, and then to switch to an uncertain, unprotected path? No one would be that foolish.

Therefore, Jia Yan is quite sure, ruling out the possibility that the assassin came for the Yin Yang Path, even though Jia Yan personally considers it his best possession, others would never think the same.

"Then, what is his purpose? Could it be the Orion Arm? The Orion Arm has recently found its path, and perhaps in a few hundred years, it might grow into a mature starfield similar to others externally." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Jia Yan pondered further, suspecting the assassin might have designs on the Orion Arm.

But this thought was soon dismissed by Jia Yan.

Because while the Orion Arm might be very important to Jia Yan—not only is his hometown there, but also many of his resources and cultivation ’experiments’ reside there—it’s invaluable to him, but does the Orion Arm have such attraction to other strong ones, especially Star River level powerhouses?

Absolutely not.

The Orion Arm may sound vast, but not overly exaggerated—why would a Star River level being, with a group of Star River levels, go to such lengths to eradicate a Star River level just to gain a region whose civilization and science and technology levels haven’t yet caught up to the majority of the Milky Way’s starfields?

This is very peculiar, although not entirely impossible, it’s highly improbable, at least Jia Yan couldn’t comprehend why the assassin would risk action knowing he is a Star River level.

"Alright, I shouldn’t overthink it; to me, the assassin is already a dead man."

"Only it’s said he has backing from a Middle Level Stellar being, and both starfields have been allies for tens of thousands of years, an old established alliance, so whether this starfield’s strong ones will stand up for the assassin is really uncertain."

Jia Yan pondered the so-called supporter behind the assassin for a moment.

Because in the starfield, it’s not that there’s always a strong one stationed; many starfields spend most of the time without any Star River level beings, so they forge eternal alliances with other starfields. And indeed, these alliances, adhering to ancient promises, are what truly survive for the long term.

Thus, the older the starfield, the greater the chance of having alliance starfields, as a starfield won’t always have Star River level strong ones, and without one or several alliances, it’s easy to perish when they’re without a Star River level.

The Assassin Starfield does have its allied starfields, and in this generation, both sides are robust; the assassin is a Star River level powerhouse, and the opposing starfield boasts an existence of Mid-level Galaxy.

"Whether this Mid-level Galaxy existence, as the strongest of the Assassin Starfield’s alliance starfields, will make a move against me is uncertain, given they are allies."

Jia Yan thought it over, still feeling his path ahead was fraught with enemies and danger.

"Even if the alliance strong ones of the Assassin Starfield do not act, I might still face other Star River levels, such as the three Star River levels who left but surely harbor resentment, or other Star River levels who dislike me because I am an Evolutionary Creature and attack. Furthermore, if my use of the Yin Yang Path becomes known, will biological entities from other Universe Systems besiege me for my defiance? These are all potential outcomes."

Considering so much, although Jia Yan never thought he would be seen as a ’delicious supplement’ by others, the sense of crisis quickly rose within him.

Thus, in subspace, Jia Yan silently entered the third phase and began stable cultivation.

Previously, hastily responding to the challenge, Jia Yan understood that he hadn’t yet grasped most of the Star River level’s full strength, since his combat method was evident—he merely kept using subspace for entry and exit, then relied on power to win, two Nebula level beings were injured by his forceful combat.

Therefore, Jia Yan now needs not only time to slowly stabilize his strength post-promotion but also find ways to stabilize his combat power.

"If I can stabilize my current strength, and also master the Star River level combat methods, then my prowess, not to mention soaring higher, will at least greatly enhance..."

The area of combat power he most anticipates post-Star River level promotion, has not yet reached full display.

That is his ’Yin Yang Path’.

This Yin Yang Path is indeed where Jia Yan stands apart from other Star River level strong ones.

In the current universe powerhouse system, many strong ones use this system to incrementally improve their strength.

And below the Star River level, there might exist various systems or methodologies.

But come Star River level, besides the distant ’Divine Spirit’ system, or perhaps some further systems that may exist, at least amongst these starfield strong ones, all Star River level existences achieve themselves through the ’Universe powerhouse system’, meaning no other systems are as perfected as this system.
