Han Yichen really wanted to hit someone. Meng Yunhan had already used up all his savings, and the legitimate children of his family could not even get a penny from his savings. All of it was used on either her maternal family or Han Ziyan. But it seemed like it was not enough for Meng Yunhan; she spent all of his savings as she liked, and now, after spending her own earnings, she wanted him to clean up after her and Han Ziyan’s mess. She really had wishful thinking!

Meng Yunhan, on the other hand, was complacent. She knew it. There was no way she wouldn’t be able to subdue Han Yichen. She had lived with him for ages and knew how to push his buttons in the right order.

However, before Meng Yunhan could smile, Han Yichen got up from the bed with a belly full of anger. Seeing this, Meng Yunhan panicked as she could not understand what the man was trying to do. She immediately sat up straight and looked at her husband, who was collecting his pillow from the bed. "What are you doing?"

"What do you think I am doing?" sneered Han Yichen coldly. He looked at the woman with sarcasm in his eyes and stated, "You wanted to roll around on the bed, did you not? Then I am giving you the entire space to roll as you want. You can do whatever you want!"

After he finished packing up, he picked up his blanket from the wardrobe and then walked out of the room without saying much. Anyway, Han Yong’s room was still empty, and he could sleep there.

Once Han Yichen left, Meng Yunhan was so scared that she scrambled out of bed and hurried out of the room after him. She hurriedly pulled the robe off her nightdress and chased after him. However, she could not catch up with Han Yichen, who was in a hurry to escape from her clutches. By the time she reached him, the man had closed the door of Han Yong’s room. He also locked up the door to make sure that no one would be able to enter.

After confirming that Meng Yunhan would not be able to enter the room, he walked to Han Yong’s bed and lay down. Seeing this, Han Jianyou was confused. What happened? Why did his father suddenly come to his room for no reason?

"Dad, did you have another fight with Mom?" Han Jianyou was now used to the quarrelling of his parents.

Han Yichen glanced at his son and calmly said, "You should go to sleep; even if it is not a school night, you are a growing child, and it will be problematic if you stay awake till late at night." After he finished speaking, he pulled the blanket over his head and covered his ears with his arms.

He needed to wake up early and had no time to care about anything else.

When Han Jianyou saw his father going to sleep, he was speechless. His father could ignore the knocking on the door and could go to sleep, but he could not! He turned to look at the door that was trembling under the impact of his mother’s hard beating and shuddered in fright. What was he going to do about this? Han Jianyou wanted to cry, but he couldn’t because if he so much as made a peep, then there was a very good chance that his mother would scold him for not opening the door and if he opened the door, then his father would blame him.

"Jianyou! Jianyou! Open the door for me!" Meng Yunhan hit her palm on the surface of the door, creating quite a ruckus. Thus, it was not a surprise that Han Ziyan was woken up. She stepped out of the room, looking irritated and then shouted at her mother, who was making a fuss downstairs. "Mom, what is the matter with you? It is the middle of the night. You are not letting people sleep."

Her mood had already hit rock bottom when she realised that the chances of her getting three thousand yuan were getting slimmer and slimmer. And now her mother was making so much noise at wee hours. How could she not be angry?

"Zi...Ziyan, go to sleep. I just need to talk to your dad; you continue to sleep. Mom will knock on the door softly, alright? You can cover your head if the noise gets too much." Meng Yunhan did not get angry at Han Ziyan even when she heard her scold her, even though she was tiring herself out because of Han Ziyan.

Han Ruochen, who could hear everything that was going on, curled her lips in bed and covered her head. Her mother was truly a character; she never allowed any of the Han siblings to cause trouble for her. Even when they were just born, most of the tasks were taken on by a nanny. Only Han Ziyan was the one who was taken care of by Meng Yunhan.

Even now, their mother was out of bed at such an hour because of Han Ziyan, but Han Ziyan did not feel sorry for her mother; instead, she scolded her for being noisy. Even after that, she did not say anything and actually coaxed Han Ziyan. Her mother was really biased to the point of no return!

On the other side, Meng Yunhan lowered her volume and continued to knock on the door.

Meng Yunhan did not mind that Han Ziyan did not care about her, but the fact that Han Jianyou was not opening the door made her terribly angry. She stayed outside the door and stubbornly continued to knock. She also wanted to see how long these two jerks would not open the door.
