Han Yichen was not scared, but Old Madam Qiao was. She knew that she was in the wrong, but she never thought that Han Yichen would actually threaten her with the police.

Realising that the hard methods won’t work, Old Madam Qiao had no choice but to lower her stance. When she spoke again, she spoke in a flattering voice. "In law, you are getting angry for no reason. I know that you are angry, but we can always sit down and discuss these matters. After all, we are from one family; there is no need for you to lose your temper like that."

Since she could not confine Han Xuehan, the old woman wanted to make use of emotions and relations to stop Han Yichen from taking Han Xuehan away. Who would have thought that this man would be so stubborn? He really did not understand something so simple as keeping his head lowered in front of his in-laws. Though Old Madam Qiao was upset with his actions, there was nothing she could do at the moment. She had to first diffuse this bomb, and then she would deal with Han Xuehan.

That wretched woman! Just because her father came to look for her, she immediately went to pack her bags. How dare she!? She should have refused and told her father that she was doing well. Old Madam Han wanted to settle things down, but Han Ruochen and Han Yichen had no intention of letting this matter be settled down with just a few calming words. Han Yichen refused at once. Han Yichen was so angry when he thought about how these people were treating his daughter like she was their servant. His eyes flickered as his gaze settled on Xiao Ai. He also heard Han Xuehan say that this woman was probably brought here to give birth to a son for Qiao Tingyan; his nostrils flared, but when he thought about how this was a woman, and he was a man, so there was little to nothing he could do to her.

Han Yichen had some reservations, but Han Ruochen did not. She followed the gaze of her father, and when she saw the woman hiding behind Old Madam Qiao, she immediately rushed forward and caught the woman by her hair and dragged her from behind Old Madam Qiao.

"You...don’t you like sleeping with men and giving birth? Why don’t I take you to the pigpen?" Han Ruochen sneered as she dragged the woman. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"Let go of me! What do you think you are doing?" Xiao Ai screamed in pain. She tried to stop the woman from dragging her, but Han Ruochen’s grip was like a vice; even when she tried her best to get rid of the woman, nothing seemed to be working.

"You—how can you attack someone like that? Are you trying to make trouble with us for no reason?" Old Madam Qiao was stunned when she saw Han Ruochen attacking Xiao Ai. She knew that the woman was not easy to deal with, but she never thought that Han Ruochen would be so lawless that she would attack Xiao Ai, and that too so blatantly.

However, even though she spoke as if she were trying to help Xiao Ai and was indignant in her stead, Old Madam Qiao did not take a step forward. She simply watched Han Ruochen slap Xiao Ai. Helpless, she turned to look at her son and said to him, "What are you looking at? Go and stop this woman!"

Qiao Tingyan was speechless. He turned his attention to look at Han Ruochen, who was like a fierce lioness. His mother was asking for the impossible by asking him to deal with Han Ruochen.

"Brother Tingyan! Come and help me," pleaded Xiao Ai when she saw that Qiao Tingyan was sitting on the floor like a useless piece of shit. She gritted her teeth hatefully, but her face never showed a hint of resentment; if anything, she looked like a little dodderer flower that needed to be protected and cared for.

When Qiao Tingyan saw her tearful face, even though he was scared of Han Ruochen, he could not help but feel indignant. He immediately scrambled to his feet and wanted to push Han Ruochen away, but before he could make a move, Han Yichen rushed forward and knocked the man down onto the floor. Taking advantage of the fact that the man was on his back, Han Yichen climbed on top of him and started hitting him.

"You bastard! You only know how to hit and beat women, don’t you? Here, take this and this! How dare you treat my daughter in such a manner? Here, take this and this!" Han Yichen was a man who could twist the head of a pig in one go. He did not open a pig farm, relying just on his good looks, after all. So, even if he looked like a lean old man, his strength had long exceeded Qiao Tingyan’s expectations.

He thought that he could deal with this old man with just one move, but Han Yichen was like a furious bull. Once he started to beat Qiao Tingyan, Han Yichen left no chance for the man to defend himself. Not only did he beat him up, but he made sure to hit the spots that were hard to detect after getting beaten, but nonetheless caused a lot of pain.
