Everyone noticed Sera, Lucious, Celeste, Sora and Brie in the hospital room. They all started walking toward the room. Sora noticed, and walked out and guarded the door.

"Sorry, I know you’re very excited but if I let one of you in, I have to let all of you in, and we can’t exactly have the entire party watching Sera give birth!" Sora said kindly.

"He’s totally playing favorites," Sasha teased.

"They’ll always be the silly little lovebirds," Jubelle added.

"Not to be rude or inconsiderate, but I do believe Aegir and I would be able to assist in this process. This is a new hybrid after all, and I don’t doubt that two goddesses can handle the birth, but elves are known for their ability to help with pregnancy."

"Hey Brie, Faye and Aegir are here. They want to help but I’ve told everyone else they can’t come in. What should we do?"

"I think we should let them in. I’m sorry babe. The only reason Sera is comfortable right now is because of the elven capsule."

"Alright babe, that sounds fine. I’ll let everyone know. By the way, you look cute in those pajamas. When did you get those?!"

"Oh, last week when we went out shopping for baby clothes. I’m going to laugh if it’s a boy. They refused to let us check because they’re so certain it’s a girl. We have so many clothes for a girl!" Brie giggled.

’I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of that giggle. It reminds me of our first night–Crap! I have to stop thinking about that. We have to deliver a brand new species of baby!’

"Faye, Aegir, please come in. Everyone else, please wait in the living room. We will let you know when you can come visit!" Sora said. "That’s an order!"

"There he goes playing favorites again!" Sasha joked.

"Totally playing favorites," Leila added.

"My lord, that man is always playing favorites. He’s lucky I’m taken because he’d be all over me," Ox teased flamboyantly, which caused Jubelle and Mindy to laugh.

Jubelle gave Ox a kiss and led everyone to the movie room, where they distracted themselves watching a comedy.

"How are you feeling Sera? Your stomach is expanding a little larger than it should be right now, but there’s nothing to worry about," Celeste said calmly as she used some of the instruments to try to pinpoint what was causing the child to stay in the womb.

"It just hurts, really, really badly. It feels like my ribs are going to break at any second. Why is she going the wrong way?" Sera cried out in pain.

"Sora, stay calm. I may need you to link with her if this continues. The baby’s umbilical cord is wrapped around it completely and it’s moving towards her ribs and heart, not towards leaving her body," Celeste said very peacefully.

"Ok. What can Brie and I do to help right now?"

"Brie, try to use your vampiric control ability on the baby. It’s going to be tricky because it’s also half demon but didn’t Athena say you have Reinhardt unleashed abilities from your time as a human?"

"I totally forgot about that! Let me give it a try!" Brie said enthusiastically as she focused all her magic to the tips of her fingers.

"Sera, I’m going to try to help you ok? I’m going to use a new ability to control the baby’s temperament so she calms down."

"I trust you Brie, just please hurry! I think I just broke a rib!" Sera shouted in pain.

Lucious was kneeling next to Sera, his face filled with paranoia. He held her hand gently and kept saying encouraging words, but Faye and Aegir cast some of their tranquility magic to calm him down.

Celeste continued to monitor the screen. Sora glanced at the screen and noticed the baby was moving toward Sera’s heart.

"Sera, I’m linking with you now. Brie you need to use your ability right away."

Sora linked with Sera and he dropped to one knee, wincing in pain. ’Divine protection,’ he thought as an angelic white glow formed around Sera’s body.

"Feeling any better?"

"Yes, much, but I’m really worried about this baby! She’s going the wrong way and I shouldn’t have looked at the screen. Can’t you just cut me open and take her out?!?!" Sera began to panic.

Brie finally shouted, "Reinhardt: Unleashed!" and a streaming red and golden glow came from her fingers. She touched Sera’s baby and felt a response and could hear the little one’s incoherent thoughts.

"Sora, I know you’re in a lot of pain, but this child is having a full panic attack. I believe she thinks she’s stuck and judging by your pain, she’s wrapped up in that umbilical cord and can’t move down. I’m going to attempt to move her with this skill. I’m really sorry if this hurts babe."

Sora nodded and smiled. He didn’t have enough strength to talk, full of sweat and completely pale. Lucious started praying.

Faye and Aegir switched from Lucious and tried to calm the baby down. Nothing seemed to work.

"Brie, it’s up to you at this point, I believe in you! Please deliver this baby, even if it kills me," Sera said with tears falling from her face.

"You’re not going to die sweetheart. You’re going to have this child. She’s responding to my ability and she’s trying to figure out how to unwrap herself. Worst case, we have Luscious elongate his nail, cut your belly down the center, and let Sora deal with the pain!" Brie said confidently.

Celeste continued to watch the monitor and run a number of tests to see the progress Brie made.

"Lucious, you’re going to have to cut her open, she’s losing her heartbeat."

"How’s losing her heartbeat?! Sera or the child?"

"Just cut her belly open straight down the middle! Sora, be ready!"

Sora braced for the pain as Lucious cut open Sera’s belly. Celeste was at her side immediately and forcing blood through three different IVs. She also forced a pound of flesh into Sera’s mouth.

"This doesn’t taste good and Sora looks absolutely miserable." Sera complained.

"I’m fine. Hurry up and eat it before we lose you and your child!"

"Keep it up Brie, you’re doing an amazing job. I can feel the baby moving toward the center of the belly. It hurts every time it hits one of her organs or the ribs. Try to cut the umbilical cord and have blood and flesh ready for the baby."

"Thanks Sora! Your pain tolerance is unbelievable!"

Brie concentrated and when the baby was in a safe position, she told Lucious to use his nail to cut the umbilical cord, which was almost around the baby’s neck.

Lucious took a deep breath and cut through it very carefully. Sora immediately cast healing magic on Sera, despite screaming in pain. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Brie used this opportunity to fully control the child, and once her vampiric control ability was accepted, the baby listened to every command Brie gave her.

"It’s definitely a girl, you two were right! She’s almost out, hold on a little longer!"

"I’m good, Sera, are you ok?" Sora asked.

"SERA?! ARE YOU OK?!"

Machines started buzzing, causing confusion in the room.

"EVERYONE BUT BRIE AND SORA OUT, NOW." Celeste demanded. "If you want to help, go pray!"
