The council meeting was a great success and Dorian and the others welcomed Levi, Sasha and the elves with great compassion. They discussed the prophecy in detail and planned their defenses for the next attack.

Sora’s party continued to use different combinations of people, including 8 groups of 2, who were all able to clear an A ranked dungeon without a problem.

Sora and Brie began getting used to using Aphrodite unleashed abilities, which came with some unique spells. Love magic included a combination of healing, buffs, debuffs and damage spells unique to the Lockhearts. They could combine them with the Lockheart abilities, making the couple a dynamic duo.

Rissa trained with the vampires in the party for her upcoming birthday. The elves were a great ally during this time, as they taught Rissa how to harness her third form’s power without using as much energy.

"Think of your energy and power as a fluid motion and channel it as a constant that will change over time. If you channel all your power into the form immediately, you will exhaust yourself quickly," Faye preached to Rissa.

Rissa’s forms were incredible. Her first form allowed her to charm almost any enemy. They immediately fall infatuated with her and do whatever she wants them to do. Her second form possesses the same ability, but allows her to manipulate them to love her unconditionally, which allows allies to easily kill them.

Her third form turned her into a 60 foot beauty that enemies instantly fell in love with. Her power and strength during this form matched Bishop’s, and they often dueled for practice.

Bishop wouldn’t allow himself to lose, but Rissa, with the help of the elves and Sora’s linking magic, was able to gain control of this ability.

"Thanks everyone! I feel like I’m able to finally control it without exhausting myself quickly," she said while drinking some elven blood.

The elves also created a special capsule for the demons which acted as a blood and flesh substitute. They created one for every group in the party, including the gods and goddesses.

"It’s amazing what these elves can do!" Brie exclaimed.

"It truly is remarkable. Their masking magic has also benefited us greatly. I can’t believe tomorrow is the big day. We should rest up and get to the settlement early in the morning. What do you think?" Sasha suggested.

"I think a visit home would be nice. I’m sure your Father is eager to see you and his new daughter. I’m quite excited to see my family as well. I’ve never been away from the settlement for this long, time flies!" Lucious said, beaming with excitement.

"Brie and Sora, you are going to remain here, correct?" Celeste asked nervously.

"Yes of course! We want you to get out and enjoy some time away from the mansion or a dungeon! We both feel bad that we’re the ones always getting to go out and about," Brie said while giving her a hug.

"Well the alone time for you and Sora will be nice! Don’t go breaking the mansion with all that bed rocking," Luna teased.

Jubelle was excited to introduce Ox to his family. He knew his parents would be accepting but wondered what the other Original families might think.

"I’m sure you’ll be fine. I know my parents won’t mind!" Sasha reassured Jubelle. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

"My family already has a son who is married to another man so the Moonveils are not something anyone should worry about. Honestly, all the vampires are noble and accepting. It’s not like you can’t have children, you can turn them yourselves and they’d be a part of your family!"

"Yeah, but it’s not like we can share Ox’s werewolf genes with them. That’s kind of unfortunate. It’d be nice to have the Original Vampire and Original Werewolf genes passed down to a child, wouldn’t you agree, Ox?"

"I wouldn’t rule out the possibility entirely! Think about how Dorian gave syringes filled with the power from the goddess Selene. UGH. I hate how my Mother shares that name."

"You two should pray to Athena and see if she visits you in your dreams." Julius suggested.

"Or you could try praying to Nyx and Selene," Sora said with a smile. "Maybe those two can create a solution for you when the time comes where you want children."

Both Ox and Jubelle smiled and laughed.

"Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. We’ve only been dating for a few months. We’re not like elves, where they immediately know their partner when they meet them. I believe it’s called "love at first sight," Jubelle said.

"Something like that! Elves just feel an immediate connection when they find their soulmate. It’s why Aegir and I have never rushed an engagement or marriage but we have some news!" Faye said while showing off her beautiful ring.

"Congrats!" The party screamed and cheered. Sora wrapped his arm around Brie and smiled.

"Well, when did Aegir finally work up the courage to propose? You have to give us all the juicy details!" Brie begged.

"When we were off in pairs of two on a dungeon run. We cleared the dungeon and he told me he found some very unique treasure he needed help with once we left the dungeon. Elven proposal is a little different–he basically kissed me and slid the ring on my finger and asked if I would do him the honor of marrying him."

"Aw, that’s so romantic," the women of the party gushed.

"I told him of course I would! We teleported back and told our families. As you know time flows differently there, so we sort of got married!"

Aegir had the biggest smile.

"Her parents accepted me into the family and the elven blessing where we shared a part of our souls allowed me access to our Fang family magic. I can now mask as well!" He stated proudly.

"That’s amazing. It’s late, we should get some rest. Rissa has a big day tomorrow." Julius said confidently. He was growing up quickly in this party, and Sora and Brie still treated him like a step-son.

"Julius, when Brie and I have a baby you’ll still be our step-child," Sora said while giving Julius a hug.

"Thanks Sora. This entire party means the world to me and helps me cope with the fact my parents are gone."

"They’re not gone, your mother is always with you. I’m sure she’s looking down on you right now and proud you’ll be standing by your girlfriend’s side on the biggest moment of her life." Brie said with a smile.

Julius appreciated the gesture and put his arm around Rissa, who blushed. The party went to sleep, awaiting their big trip to the vampire settlement.

Brie and Sora couldn’t wait for their alone time, so they made sure to utilize their sound proof walls that night.
