The next Exterian day, Sora and Brie teleported home. They were welcomed with decorations, a giant cake and a room created for Xander. They also found a new attachment to their bed for Xander.

"You all did so much for us in so little time! Thank you so much." Brie said with a giant smile.

Little Xander admired all the people who held him. He didn’t cry whenever anyone held him. He observed them deeply, his little golden eyes piercing their souls.

Julius was the most nervous, but with his new fiancée with him, he felt calm and comfortable.

"So what are you making his official birthday?" He asked.

"So, it’s strange because it was two months of time in MeadowSong. We decided to make it the day Celeste teleported to us, which was February 21st." Sora said while gladly accepting Xander back. He was hungry.

The party sat down and reminisced about the past three years of their lives. Sasha and Levi joked about their code names of C B and S when they met.

Brie happily fed Xander under a shawl and burped him when he was finished. His eyes never stopped moving, constantly observing the sights around him.

"You know if you ever want to hide him, you could always use this!" Sera said as she wrapped the invisibility cloak around Xander’s shawl.

"Woah. That’s amazing. You can have it back, but if we need it, we will definitely let you know!"

Sora was surprised a cloak like that existed, and he asked Sera if he could keep it in his dimensional void. She agreed, and the party continued to enjoy the couples return.

"I’ve never seen such a happy baby!" Lucious said with a grind. "Seriously it’s like he knows what we’re thinking. I can’t believe he was happy with every single one of us."

"He’s going to develop quickly. He’ll probably be able to walk at 3 months and speak around 4-5 months." Celeste explained. "Just like pregnancy, gods develop at a rapid speed. Remember, one day here is a year in Paradise. Imagine if you sent him to Paradise for three days. He’d come back at three years old."

"I don’t want the party to miss him growing up," Brie said emphatically.

"Neither do I. I love you all so very much. Thank you for this wonderful family we have."

They all exhchanged reassuring hugs and Levi and Sasha held Xander as an elven priest teleported to officially bless them as godparents.

It didn’t take long and the blessing was successful.

"Brie, how the hell do you look like you did before you’re pregnant?" Sasha groaned.

"Do I really? I feel fat."

Celeste took a picture of her. She showed her the picture the group posed for at her wedding.

"Wow."

"I can’t believe you felt fat my love. You look as beautiful as the day I met you. Sora said while giving her a kiss."

"Hey, Sasha, do you feel a stronger attachment to the little guy? Ever since the priest blessed us, I feel more aware and protective of him."

"Yeah, I knew something was different. I just couldn’t pinpoint it. Is that normal Faye?"

"Yup! If something were to happen to Sora and Brie, you’d essentially become his parents and the elven blessing makes it so you’re more inclined to do so!"

Eventually nightfall came and everyone took the night off. Sora and Brie grabbed Xander, who fell asleep in Sasha’s arms.

They gently set him in his crib and took advantage of their alone time.

Afterwards, they shared a quick shower and Brie and Sora rushed out at the sound of Xander crying.

He reached for his mama, which took them both by surprise.

"We have a genius for a child who is always hungry." Sora laughed.

Brie nursed him and then put him in the side compartment of their bed.

The two drifted off to sleep, grateful for their perfect baby.

The alarms in Sora’s mansion rang and Sora woke up PISSED.

He immediately teleported outside alone to werewolves, demons and fodder titans coming his way. Brie was right behind him. Celeste was watching Xander and told the party to stay put.

"These assholes are ours. Eye of Chronos!" Sora screamed.

The world froze aside from Sora and Brie. He equipped them in their SSS rank attire and they immediately started shredding everyone.

Sora noticed Pride standing in the back.

"Brie take care of these assholes. I have unfinished business."

"You got it babe! It feels good to be using my power again!"

Sora teleported to Pride, who moved freely in the space.

"So which goddess gave you protection from my magic? I thought you were too prideful to accept help?" Sora snarled. It was out of character for him.

Pride laughed. "Prideful, yes. Stupid, no. I do not wish to fight you. I’m here to observe your power. Nothing more. Nothing less."

Sora dashed so quickly and started exchanging blows with Pride, who stayed on the defensive.

Pride noticed the enormous gain in strength from their last fight and it caused him to fight at full strength. He didn’t like it.

Sora managed to crack part of Pride’s reflective, shifty skin.

"So you are squashable. Good to know." Sora taunted.

Pride sent out several shards. Xander teleported to Sora and opened a portal, which sent the shards into nothingness.

"So it was a child!" Pride said as he teleported away.

Brie finished off the rest of the army and Sora released his eye of Chronos.

"Xander what are you doing silly!" Sora said joyfully as he picked up his baby, who was laying down, still wrapped up in his swaddle.

Celeste immediately teleported to them.

"I’m so sorry!"

"What do you have to be sorry for? I didn’t know our child could break through my time stop let alone use his own ability. We just brought him home!"

"Maybe the time in MeadowSong progressed him a little more quickly. I’m not entirely sure. What magic did he use?"

"He made the shards Pride sent at me disappear through a portal from his swaddle. I don’t understand." Brie said nervously.

"God and goddess babies are different. They act before they think. They can still think to an extent but my best guess is Xander didn’t like time freezing so he unfroze it because he adopted your genes. Then he wondered where you two were and found you and thought his dada was in danger so he did whatever he thought could help," Celeste explained.

"Let’s get him back to safety. They know it was a child now but they knew that from the prophecy so nothing to worry about," Sora said as he scooped up Xander.

"Your a good strong little boy aren’t you," Sora said in baby talk.

Xander clearly understood what Sora meant because he smiled and giggled.

It made Brie smile. Sora clearly enjoyed being a dad and made a great Father. She was a little concerned with how angry he was with Pride until she realized he nearly killed her and they were after their child.

Azazel healed Pride, who was baffled by Sora’s strength.

"We’ve created a monster. His kid can already unfreeze his father’s time spell and create portals to send magic away," Pride said angrily.

"God babies can do some crazy things. I told you not to underestimate us Azazel," Helen said condescendingly.

"It’ll be fine. They won’t see our next attack coming and let’s see how they handle some unexpected sins."
