"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here on this beautiful July day to celebrate the marriage of Lucious Moonveil and Seraphina Nerissa. It’s a glorious thing to witness these diverse marriages unfolding in front of our eyes in Sorbella. Thank you to our gracious King, Queen, and their entire party for providing such a wonderful place for us to live." the Minister stated.

This was the largest wedding yet, as Azazel and his goddess duo, and titans were no longer on the planet. After the attack at Julius and Rissa’s wedding, they changed the location from the vampire settlement to Sorbella.

Xander stole the show again, and in a month’s time, he was already speaking more coherently and practicing controlling his magic.

He looked adorable in his little black suit and he walked the rings up in style, giving the crowd a playful spin and wave before saying "Baby!" while pointing at Sera’s belly.

Sera’s face went beat red and Lucious announced, "We found out last night that we’re going to be proud parents!"

The crowd erupted in cheers, especially from the Savior party.

"Ok someone explain to me how a vampire and a demon pregnancy works?" Sora laughed while waving his arms in the air like he was clueless.

"It’s like we’ve always said, he lives under a rock!" Sasha joked.

"To be honest, none of us are sure. I don’t think any of us have ever seen a vampire demon hybrid. They’ve been at war since vampires came into existence. Maybe it’ll be some supersonic shadow user!" Leila suggested.

"That would be amazing. By the way, Leila, would you like to join me for dinner sometime?" Lionel asked.

"Yes, sure. Where would you like to go?"

"I know the perfect spot in Haven. Just let me know when."

"Sounds good. I haven’t been on a date in over 2,000 years... just a heads up."

Lionel smiled. "I haven’t been one in over 100!"

"You’re that much older than Levi?!" Sasha shouted.

"Yes, he is my youngest brother. Exactly 100 years younger than me. I’m 127."

"Ha! He’s older than you Sasha," Jubelle laughed as he held Ox’s hand.

They all smiled and enjoyed the reception. Waves of congratulations came to the happy couple, as Lucious’ parents and all of his siblings came out to the event.

Ever since Sora’s wedding, the party followed the traditional Earth weddings. They were a hit and Sora enjoyed them very much. He was also glad someone else was having a child.

"Remember when our mansion was just the ’Fab Five,’ I believe they called us?" Brie laughed.

"Our outfits are still that cool!" Jubelle added with a vibrant laugh.

"Time literally flies. I wonder how long this peace is going to last." Sora said while sitting with Bishop, Levi, Sasha, Jubelle and Ox.

"Who knows. I’m just worried for the other planets. I’m also worried you know who might create a portal and catch a glimpse of the action."

Xander was happily asleep in Brie’s lap.

He was the perfect example of how everyone felt. Exhausted, hopeful, relieved and worried, all wrapped up in a blanket of confusion.

Celeste approached Sera and Lucious’ table and said congratulations. She added some insight into what she thought the pregnancy might entail.

"So, for vampires, the pregnancy is usually seven months. For demons, it’s usually six. So you should be due in January or February! Right around the time Xander turns one, although, he’ll practically be three at that age!"

"That’s great news! Would it be possible to actually inherit both of our genes?" Lucious felt foolish for asking, but he wasn’t sure.

"Of course! Every life form comes from two parents, so I don’t see why you two would be any different! Do you think you’ll have a boy or a girl?"

Sera grabbed her belly, even though she wasn’t showing. They both said, "girl," at the exact same time.

Meanwhile, Jubelle and Ox excused themselves. They had a meeting at a hospital in Sorbella.

On the fifth floor of the terminally ill pediatric floor, they visited with Mindy, a five year old girl with cancer. They had been visiting for quite some time now and the staff was happy she had visitors. She was an Orphan and didn’t have any parents to speak of. Thankfully, Sora’s Sorbella Orphanage took the best care of kids. Unfortunately, no one wanted to adopt a cancer patient.

"Jubelle and Ox! How are you doing?" Mindy screamed with excitement. She always loved seeing them.

"Doing great, how’s our favorite little girl?" Ox said sweetly.

"Good, just a little tired. Do you think you could read me a bedtime story?"

"Of course, which one this time? I brought one of Sora’s books from Earth!"

"Ok, how about Goldilocks and the three bears?!"

"Once upon a time–" Jubelle started reading and by the time he finished the story, Mindy was excited for another one.

Ox fidgeted with the serum in his short’s pocket.

"Well, we have something we wanted to ask you. We prayed to our respective goddesses of creation and they agreed to give us this," Ox said as he pulled the fancy silver tube which held a golden substance.

"Is that a cure for my cancer!" she asked in awe.

"Not entirely. If we give you this, you will become our adopted child! You will become part werewolf and part vampire. Do you want to know the best part? You’d be the first of your kind and your body would be able to fight off the cancer!

Mindy’s eyes lit up wide. "Yay! I’ll have two daddies!"

"Now we want to make sure the nurses and doctors are ok with this. It’s probably going to hurt a little bit, ok?"

"That’s ok! I’m stronger than I look!" Mindy said while flexing her little muscles.

Ox let out a giant "aw," and Jubelle smiled happily.

"Give me one second Mindy, I’m going to ask the nurses and doctors if it’s ok to take you home ok?" Jubelle said politely.

After about 10 minutes, the discharge papers were in his hands and they were off to their mansion.

They didn’t want to risk teleporting in her condition. The doctors said she was already on borrowed time and not quite sure how she was still alive.

When they got to the mansion, it was empty, and they took Mindy to the hospital room.

"Ok sweetie, it’s just going to be a prick and then you’re probably going to go through a lot of pain, but fight through it ok?" Ox said while holding her tightly.

Mindy looked nervously at the straps on the bed.

"Why are there straps on the bed?" She frowned.

"To make sure you don’t evolve into a big wolf and eat us!" Jubelle teased by making his best wolf impression.

Ox changed into his werewolf form to make Mindy feel more comfortable.

Jubelle slowly strapped her in, said a prayer, and injected the serum.

Mindy howled in agony as her body accepted the serum. Five minutes later, she had royal purple eyes and was in werewolf form.

Ox could speak to her in werewolf form, and he told her, "Great job Mindy! Now you’re just like your daddies!"

She finally calmed down and reverted back to her human form.

"I don’t feel sick anymore! I just feel hungry!"

"What do you want to eat sweetie?" Jubelle asked politely.

"Blood."

Ox was already prepared with a food capsule of each. Jubelle poured the blood into a black container and put a straw in it.

Mindy was hesitant at first, but he said, "It’s much better than all those hospital meals! Drink it, you’ll feel much better."

She slurped it down to the last drop, let out a large burp, said "I love my daddies," and fell asleep in Jubelle’s arms.

As Brie and Xander fell asleep, Sora got out of bed and took a shower. While relaxing under the water, he used the time to think.

’I really hope Brie’s birthday goes smoothly this time. The first time Jubelle almost died, I didn’t get to see her last year because of the wedding... I want this one to go off without a hitch!’

He was glad Sera and Lucious had their wedding before her birthday. Her birthday was in two days and he had everything planned.
