Chapter 856: Chapter 856: IN THE BEGINNING...

In the beginning, there was nothing.

No words, no light, no sound, no land, no life, no death...

There was...nothing.

For eternity, or for a brief instant, nothing reigned. It manifested without manifesting, existing naturally without origin and law.

It was dark.

But there was no one around to even acknowledge that it was dark in the first place.

Because it was...nothing.

In the beginning, there was nothing.

And then, no one would ever know how long it took, but one day...

There was light.

There was light in this small expansive micro fold of dark empty space.

The darkness was suddenly not that dark anymore.

In the beginning, there was nothing. And then, there was light.

Along with the first radiance from this new and holy source of light came the first sound.

*ROAR!*

The deep beastly roar of a monster struggling to maintain itself existed and for once, the light gained colour.

With a roar that permeated its soundwaves through the void, the world that was formerly empty now gained meaning and purpose.

It was as if all things in the world had lost meaning except the creator for the creator created all and he gave meaning to all.

In the beginning, there was nothing, and then, there was light, and there was a roar.

But what could be the source of this light? Could light exist without a source? Yes. But this light clearly had a source.

At the center of this space that had once been empty was a single massive star, freshly pulled out of whatever cosmic oven it had come from to shed light onto this fledgling world.

The star, shining with the radiance of the gold colour, quietly burned. There was something about the existence of this star that just made it different from every other star that would ever be born or pulled here after it.

It was forbidden.

It was a star created by accident. A star whose existence was supported by vengeful activities. A star that came into being without permission from the Law of Origin.

Everything, including all the first Primordials, all had to receive a direct Permission from the Law of Origin to exist.

But this star.

This star existed based on the Alpha Law of Conquering mixed with a couple more laws.

Even the Law of Radiance, or the Law of Heat, or the Law of Light, or the Law of Nuclear Power, pillar laws that were needed to support the existence of stars, did not contribute to their existence.

Even the Law of Stars, the most crucial Law, was missing.

How then would such an abomination of a celestial body not gather the attention of the divine hosts?

The star was forbidden.

In the beginning, there was nothing. And then, there was light and a loud roar.

The forbidden star was the source of the first light...

And the roar?

The roar that shook the intangible void? The roar that brought meaning to emptiness? The roar that spontaneously caused the descent of more than two hundred laws.

It belonged to the Conquest Trinity. The All-King, the System, and the Alphaverse.

The roar belonged to Kael.

In the beginning, there was nothing. And then there was light and a loud roar.

The forbidden star was the source of the first light and the Conquest Trinity was the source of the first roar.

After all was said and done, a world unto itself had been made in the image of the enemy, the main universe.

And so, the first occupants of this world appeared.

Light years away from the forbidden star, a flash of gold was seen as a massive spheroid cruised out of a spatial fold and drifted into the new plane.

Planet Gadi.

A minor world troubled by the appearance of individual powers. The perfect first tenants, the first of many more to come.

The inhabitants of Planet Gadi had merely seen a wave of darkness that was then followed by a cold child as they lost proximity to their Daystar which provided warmth.

And then, they were witnessing the light of day again. Except, it was a different day than what they knew.

The colour shade of the sky was dark and the hue of gold lined the horizon so deeply that it was troubling.

Just standing on the planet alone made them all feel...small.

The billions of humans on Planet Gadi felt like they were all being stared down by a god, their wills were oppressed.

They were unwilling to glance at the golden-hued horizon much longer than a glimpse, it was that uncomfortable.

"Holy fuck!" Exclaimed one of the women behind Teez as they all looked at the sky.

"Fucking hell!" Teez also exclaimed as he crumbled to the floor. His knees smashed into the ground, cracking the street bitumen.

His palms pressed the ground and sweat streamed down his cheeks and forehead. He felt pain, a lot of pain.

"Aaagh!" Others behind him began to explain as well, falling to the ground as their bodies underwent violent changes and loads of energy were released into them.

The three thousand plus humans fell to the ground, all squirming and spasming as their powers began to bloom. The sound of heavy heartbeats filled the streets and the noise of their groans was so disturbing that anyone in the other streets would refrain from coming here.

As they transformed, the suppressed energy within them began to spill out. Houses and brick buildings close by were smashed through.

Some humans, still in the midst of their transformation, stumbled around and tried to rest against the wall, only for their bodies to go through very easily.

Some merely took light steps and found that they were launched off the ground fast, smashing their heads into walls.

Teez, the most impressive of them all, was expanding where he was.

His muscles bunged and compressed before bulging again. Thousands of electrically charged blood vessels flowed through his veins through his beating heart.

He took a deep breath, opening his bright blue eyes to see that his palms were crooked and twisted. His white hoodie, which was normally big and had a lot of room even for a big guy like him, could no longer contain him.

First, the sleeves, then the back area, and then the rest of the hoodie was ripped off as a furry back was exposed.

Teez’s bones snapped into place. His dreadlocks turned into a deep electric white and unfurled, spreading out and fusing with the spouting fur on his neck to form the new pristine white mane.

Milky claws emerged from his fingers as they widened and became covered in fur. His palm darkened and thickened.

To his surprise, a tail sprouted from the end of his waist, as white as his mane.

Through all this transformation, he was getting bigger and bigger, and bluish-white electricity continuously sparked around him.

Teez was different from the others, he was a chimera. The power of two Lionhearts circulated within him, Electricity and War.

Feeling the pain starting to submerge, Teez took a step forward and raised his head up.

*BAM!*

A burst of electricity from his white paw as the ground shattered under his weight.

He stood up to full height on all fours, noticing the clear height difference as well as the very apparent change in strength and raw power.

His barbed tongue danced within his mouth, feeling the long fangs in his now elongated snout. He was built like a creature designed specifically to dominate with every inch of his body.

As Teez was checking himself out, the other humans behind him had also finished their transformation and now took on lion appearances.

Most of the street was destroyed by now and the aura of multiple tier 3 and tier four lions filled the area.

It was also at this time that Teez noticed someone floating above them. It wasn’t the All-King.

Short blue hair, blue eyes, tall. That was Blues.

Teez stared at Blue who remained above and watched all this with a strange gaze that was different from what Teez knew.

Blues had changed.

He didn’t look at the lions below with disdain or arrogance, even though he was technically doing something that would inevitably challenge their ego.

He just looked at all of them with a little bit of indifference mixed in with heavy curiosity.

A short blue tail wagged slowly behind Blues and two smaller floppy ears rested on the sides of his head. It was a cross between being adorable and being absolutely dangerous.

Teez didn’t know why but he felt like he was staring at a watered-down version of the All-King by looking at Blues, and this made him unwilling to call his former friend.

Blues shifted his head and his warm sapphire eyes crossed paths with Teez’s striking electric blue eyes.

They saw each other.

Blues gave the large white lion a nod, and Teez responded with a nod of his own. It was acknowledged.

Blues was simply here fulfilling the first command of his master: Watch them.

Accepting the new urge to be the perfect right-hand man, Blues obliged. What he had seen during Kael’s accidental evolution had rearranged how he saw everything.

There was much to learn, and he was willing to learn on the job. He hadn’t even met other dogs from the Dog Vassal state yet.

Just then, four entities appeared beside Blues in the sky, shocking the latter.

Under the evening glow of the forbidden star, Blues gazed and observed.

"Hello, you must be Blues," said one of the humanoid individuals. He was the only male amongst them and the rest were females.

Blues tried to focus on the male humanoid with flashing runes in his eyes but he couldn’t. The three women behind him were just so...significant. They caused the world to fade away and lose colour with their appearance.

One of them even had blue skin, something Blues had not seen before.

"Yes, I am," He responded politely, dragging his gaze from the one with black wings to the man.

"Who are you?" Blues asked, bowing his head slightly to show respect. He could guess the origins of this one.

The man smiled, but the arrogance in his eyes did not fade at all, "I’m Xu Ying. My clan has been rewarded with the Planet Gadi. I will be taking over from here."
