Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 861: Azeus The Enviable
With her neck still in her mother’s grasp, Alyrat continued spasming uncontrollably.
The foreign power within her body was being expelled violently as the power of the All-King rushed into her body.
"Send her back..." The voice of the All-King echoed in her mind once again, causing Katari to act promptly.
Katari stood up, letting go of Alyrat’s neck and pushing away the dust hovering around her.
She had work to do.
Katari waved her hand, and the spatial fabric around them dispersed. Instantly, Alyrat was transported to the Apex Pyramid far away and Katari was left all alone.
"Your Majesty," Katari started, looking somewhat worried.
"I know," Kael said telepathically from wherever he was, "They couldn’t get in physically, not yet, but someone already has his mind making trouble."
Katari stood straight and narrowed her eyes. That there was someone in the Alphaverse doing such a thing really disturbed her.
If she had known, she would not have chosen to handle the dragon affairs; instead, she would have worked on this matter, as it was serious.
"Don’t worry about it, I know who it is," Kael said casually.
At this time, some arkships could be seen flying over from the horizon.
"Who is it, your Majesty? I’ll hunt him down with the rest of my pride sisters before I do anything else," Katari replied seriously.
"It’s the Primordial of Soul, "Kael said, "And I said forget about it, even if you wanted to find him, you can’t.
He already reached out to Silas and the rest. Pay attention to our family members, those are his most likely targets.
Be ready to kill when the time comes," The All-King’s voice went really cold toward the end.
"Yes, Your Majesty," Katari nodded, the same glint flashing in her eyes. Unlike Kael, she would not give anyone a second chance.
If not for the fact that Kael had stopped her, she was genuinely going to stab her palm into her daughter’s chest and kill her off.
She would not allow such corruption to taint the grand design of her beloved.
"Handle your duties, I’ll handle everything else," Kael said, then cut off the telepathic connection.
He was always watching, that one, Katari was sure of.
Soon, the arkships that were coming from the distance arrived, just as they had been commanded.
They didn’t land, they just hovered above the continent and Katari stared at them.
There had to be at least a hundred thousand of them.
A hundred thousand arkships, each probably having its own fully equipped pride members within, all of them having loads of vassal subjects under their command.
They were all ready to assist Katari, they were the ones who had accepted the recruitment missions she had sent out first.
Katari did not need much, a hundred thousand Prides was more than enough for what she wanted to do and if she ever needed more, the mission board was there at her disposal.
"The Heavenly Beacons for the Draconic Heaven have been completed, Your Highness. We are prepared for the extraction," Said one of the Pride leaders inside an arkship that was at the forefront.
That was right, a lot of these lions who had accepted these missions had taken the heavenly beacons of Draconic Heaven to use on themselves.
"Open it, this is how it shall be done..." From the surface of the floating continent, Katari started giving out commands.
She took the reins like an experienced commander prepping for a battlefield. She divided this new force into different groups
Half of them were now tasked with finding and defending the last remnants of the fallen Destruction Dragon Empire.
This order would surely cause them to eventually clash with the Creation Dragons who were to this day still hunting down the Destruction Dragons, against the will of the Lion Hegemony.
The lions had more than enough motive to go rage mode on the Creation Dragons.
As for the remaining fifty thousand Prides, Katari divided them into two. The first group was tasked with infiltrating Draconic Heaven and extracting the captive horses.
The second group was tasked with starting and laying the groundwork for small-scale battles.
Katari knew that this was a battle that had to be fought, but now was not the time to go all in like Kael had originally intended.
Katari knew that Kael’s chances of winning the battle would be very high but it would also expose him to many other variables and Katari did not want that.
This second group would attack and defend for as long as they could, starting small skirmishes around the heavenly gates that they would use and running away as fast as possible.
This second group, which would be the attackers would obviously not be alone. They were free to set a mission related to this activity as long as it was a Call-For-Backup mission. They could also use their Vassals however they wanted.
The vassals alone set the lions apart from ninety-nine percent of the other cosmic factions.
Alas, Katari was aware of one fact. Kael had given the Creation Dragons his demands and they had ignored them, not given a response two days after the deadline.
This could only be possible if the Creation Dragons were deriving confidence from another faction. And from the looks of things, based on what she knew, there were a lot of enemies that would ally with the Creation Dragons.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. This time, the Lions were on the other side of that saying.
She blinked and the golden screen of the lion system appeared in front of her.
[Katari: King Azeus, can you accompany me to Draconic Heaven?]
She sent the message and waited. Katari did not have time for nonsense.
It was either she succeeded, or she succeeded. Nothing else.
[Azeus: Ah, Your Highness, I’m on my way...]
Such a request could never be ignored. Azeus had not even finished venting all the trust he had from being trapped in the Original Heaven.
This was an opportunity...to blow off some steam.
From Hive Heaven to Draconic Heaven, one glorious battle to another. Azeus was living a life that would make many lions envious.
