"Exercise patience, sister," Eidel said as she perched on the edge of a floating continent.

Both she and her sister from another life, Ruda, were in their lioness forms, crouched at the edge of this massive continent.

They were not crouched here for nothing. Just now, they finished a very brief in-system meeting with the first group of prides that would be assisting them with matters related to the Ancient Felines.

Ruda had a look of extreme impatience on her face because she had discovered that the Ancient Felines were not going to be easy to handle.

They had not even dealt with Gabriel who was currently a wild card doing who knows what wherever he was and there was still that host of Immortals who had just left Original Heaven to reunite with the rest of the feline assembly.

Their main target was the Luthor Patriarch and Seth, but it would be very hard to get close to those two with the state of affairs as it is right now.

Either way, Eidel and Ruda have already made it their personal mission to end the enemies of the Ancient Felines.

They have gone too long with their vexing ways and they represented one of the biggest obstacles in the way of the Lions.

But they also knew that they couldn’t do this with brute force alone. They needed a lot of strategic wisdom to navigate this affair properly.

Because of this, they had to contact the other consorts for confirmation.

Katari had already taken one hundred thousand Prides. That was more or less close to one million lions and lionesses in total.

There was still a lot to go around. But the main reason why Katari had even offered to lead that operation was so that she could reduce the load on everyone else.

It needed to be known that the lions were still in a recovery phase. The arrival of the Immortals from Original Heaven may have created the illusion that they had recovered but that wasn’t the case.

The majority of the lions were still very weak and most of them were still engaged in serious breeding programs to shoot the lion population back to its prime as fast as possible.

If Ruda and Eidel wanted to divert some of the lion clans and their vassals, they would have to utilize powerful lions who were not that much.

Fifteen thousand plus was a lot actually. But the consorts now shared Kael’s grand design and they knew that it was nowhere near enough to do what they wanted to do.

Out of three thousand heavens, only one had been conquered.

If they wanted to continue, they had to accept the fact that a lot of lions would die glorious but gruesome deaths. Replacing immortals was going to be hard and if they wanted to make it possible, they needed to use the Honey very well.

After some careful consideration, Eidel and Ruda decided that there was a way to handle all these things properly without having to divert too much power from the Hegemony.

"Why don’t we share enemies..." Eidel had said casually, bringing up one of the best ideas ever.

This stemmed from a slight issue in their thinking.

Before now, most of the lions had believed that all their enemies were scattered in a kind of way and that was true.

The Felines were not necessarily allies with the Creation Dragons and they were not necessarily going to fight together.

But they were related as they shared a common enemy.

It was going to be the same for every other enemy out there that wanted to strike at the lions for whatever reasons they may have.

In fact, it was even safer to say that the Highest Will might reach out to these enemies of the Hegemony.

Kael had told them about that little voice in his head. There was no reason for him to hide it from them.

The Highest Will had been reaching out and Kael had been ghosting all the calls.

Besides that, Eidel and Ruda were aware that the lions were the common enemy for a lot of factions right now.

And factions with common enemies like this tended to band together.

Now, Eidel and Ruda were actually hoping that they would do that. Yes, let everyone come together to fight them, that was what they wanted.

Know yourself, know your enemy, and win a hundred battles.

Normally, the standard methodology for conquering foreign forces was to divide and conquer.

Alas, cosmic battles were very different from planar battles. It was similar to how interstellar fleet battles between ships were very different from the kind of battle between marine warships.

Divide and conquer would not always work. In this case, it only made the factions a difficult target to hit.

But if they were all hurdled up, that would be a different thing.

Allies beget allies.

The more they joined forces, the more likely it was that some of the enemies of the lions who were too scared to come out on their own would join such alliances.

Sure, having so many enemies banding together at the same time could be a recipe for disaster if they did not manage it well.

It could even lead to the destruction of the lion Hegemony.

But what could be done?

The longer the lions waited without striking out, the more time their enemies had to think of what to do to them. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

Even the All-King knew that multiple entities were trying to pierce the defence of the Alphaverse without facing backlash.

It was only a matter of time.

So, why not shorten it? Why not beat the grass to scare the snakes?

"Why don’t we tell Katari first?" Eidel said.

To which, Ruda hurriedly shook her head, "No, Katari would give us reasons not to do it our own way.

We just need to make the Ancient Felines the center of attraction for all the others. All our forces, our defence, offense, and ambition, will go to a single point.

All our vulnerable sides will be covered if the enemies only have one direction of attack.

Then, while all these things are happening, we hunt and prey on their key figures every opportunity that we get..."

Unfortunately, what Ruda and Eidel did not know was that these things were already happening and their future actions may only accelerate the inevitable end.
