Chapter 907: Chapter 907: Highest Will’s Agreement

"..." The Primordial Moth was silent.

The sea of stars continued to rotate peacefully, proving that their collective existence and majesty were independent of these two entities.

"You have decided to wipe everything out?" The Primordial Moth asked. Her wings paused their flaps as she just drifted through the vacuum.

"I thought you wanted to wait until the chaos reached a certain point?" She asked. Based on how she talked with this entity, it was clear that she knew a lot of things.

"I did," The Highest Will responded in her mind, his voice sharp and slow.

"What changed?" The Primordial Moth asked.

"The universe is already as chaotic as it can get.

Currently, war rages in the Draconic Heaven and it is bound to draw more powerful creatures to it.

It will spread.

And it will be long..."

"Or is that just an excuse?" The Primordial Moth cut him off. The Highest Will didn’t say anything about that.

"We all know what you stand to gain when there is nothing left but you in this universe.

It all comes down to power doesn’t it, we all want power. But you not only lie to us over and over again, but you also lie to yourself.

Look at you, rushing to dismantle your own rules so that you can do what you prevented others from doing.

You want to eliminate the rules that limit others from reaching the Divine Tier? What makes you think others will not rush to ascend?

Do you still think you can stop them?"

The Primordial Moth was asking the real questions that needed to be asked.

One fatal flaw of the Highest Will was that he needed to obey his own laws.

If he said no one could leave the universe without his permission before, it also meant that even he could not leave.

The fact that Seth could send Chen beyond the Outerverse without consequence just meant that the particular rule had been demolished long before that time.

Why?

The Highest Will had already become a God long before he created the rule that prevented others from ascending, so it never affected him.

Why?

Perhaps, the question should be... why not?

How could one start anew if they still clung to the old ways?

"The All-King has severely deviated from the plans I had for him..." The Highest Will said, changing the topic completely.

"...Kill him and leave this universe before I begin my work.

I’m aware that the All-King can also be a little persuasive. Even if you don’t kill him, as long as you actively destroy everything he has worked for...

I shall help you become Divine, I promise..."

As soon as the Highest Will said that, something changed in the Primordial Moth.

A stream of words appeared in front of her eyes, causing her to shake off the nonchalance and laziness with twinkling eyes.

It was a contract of agreement. Something specific to the Highest Will and his Law of Rules. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

The Primordial Moth’s eyes lit up because this contract was actually very different.

She had only seen this contact happening once.

Back when the Highest Will imprisoned Change and his slimes in Myriad Heaven, this agreement had been used as well.

The fascinating thing about this contract was that it bound the two parties to their agreement.

If the Primordial Moth accepted this contract, it would mean that the Highest Will was bound by its own rules to comply.

Meaning, as long as she did what he wanted, he would really help her out.

"You know that I need my own heaven, preferably the Stellar Heaven to ascend right?" She asked again.

She didn’t want to settle for the Semi Divine Tier, she wanted to be the real deal if she was even going to get anything.

"Affirmative," The Highest Will knew. He was aware of what was needed to become True Divine Tier.

He was willing.

"Why did you not ask the other gods?" The Primordial Moth asked one final question. But she had already made a decision in her mind.

"Hmm," The Highest Will seemed to contemplate. Or at least, it seemed like he was contemplating something.

It was hard to tell just by hearing the voice alone.

"The other Divines have their own designs. Even Order shows support on the surface but...he too is scared.

Although I have made similar agreements with him so that he would help me take care of the gods while I work."

The Highest Will paused.

The Primordial Moth was shocked. She was stunned by the Highest Will’s honesty, willingness to talk, and the context itself.

The Highest Will barely talked that much with anyone. Even if he did, he was usually very vague and only his actions could let one determine what he was planning.

Perhaps, he was speaking from a standpoint of inevitability. Whether he told the Moth or not, what he wanted to happen will happen.

But at the same time, the Primordial Moth remembered that there was a certain Rule that prevented the gods from interfering too much in the affairs of the lower powers.

If the Highest Will was able to do all this at this time it meant he had already dismantled the rule without anyone knowing yet.

The Primordial Moth also realized something very scary. As illogical as everything that was happening was, the Highest Will could only truly wipe out the creatures of the universe after two conditions were met.

First, he needed the Other Law, which he already had. That was the main catalyst.

Secondly, he needed to completely remove every rule that he had set beforehand for obvious reasons.

Many might not know because they had been born into the Rule system but there were actually a lot of Rules governing the universe. Most of which were separate from the rules and created by the Highest Will.

Also, many of these rules took a lot of time to create in the first place so that they would not clash with other standing concepts and create paradoxes.

One might assume that they still had some time before that day came. But with what the Primordial Moth was hearing, the Highest Will was probably almost done with dismantling all his rules.

That also meant that the End Day was much closer than anyone might imagine.

Much much closer.

Finally, after analyzing everything she knew, guessed, and understood from her conversation with the Highest Will, the Primordial Moth nodded her head.

A sharp, cold glint flashed in her eyes as she shook her wings which had slowly begun to glow.

"I accept."
