The Divine Favor Stat is incredibly powerful—the higher, the better. Though I don’t fully understand how it works yet, since I haven’t experienced any divine intervention, Blessings and Miracles could still occur. The higher the stat, the greater the chance. Could I really risk it? No. I have over six of these crystals, so I’ll use three for now and save the rest. That seems wiser.

Divine Favor affected me even more because I was a Goddess, creating a strange cycle since I was also the owner of the stat. As a mortal, it allowed me to receive greater favors from... my own divine self. This loop generated raw divine power that accumulated inside my Divinity and—

"Oh wow, some of these Skills that have taken so long to level up finally did..." I nodded, a thrill running through me. "So increasing my Divinity can trigger these effects too. And... I received a miracle from myself? Is that even allowed?" I shrugged. "Well, if it works, it works."

My Divine Favor was now far higher than any other sub-stat under Luck. That was fine for the moment, but I hoped it wouldn’t create some strange imbalance later.

Next came the Dungeon Core Fragments, the Cursed Fire Spirit Elixir, and the Skill Scroll Fragments I still hadn’t touched.

"Dungeon Core Fragments... Now I have twelve," I said. "I can create one core by combining four fragments, right?"

"Yeah!" Alice floated to my side. "Do you want to make them?"

"I do. I’m curious about what I can do with an Empty Dungeon Core," I said, nodding.

"Then I believe you simply have to place the four fragments together, and they’ll merge into a single form," Alice explained.

"Okay..." I nodded.

I grabbed the fragments, and just as Alice had said, they began to float in midair and combine on their own. Four fragments swirled around one another, and then—

FLAAASH!

Three clear blue crystalline orbs, leaking dimensional energy, appeared before my eyes. To my shock, I had created Dungeon Cores—something only the Dungeon God was supposed to be able to do.

"This is ridiculous."

Even after everything I had done, I was still surprised by what was possible.

"I feel like you do all the work here and I barely help, Alice... haha."

"Hm? But Sylphy, without you working hard there wouldn’t be any rewards to begin with, right? The System only rewards and helps those who work hard. You’ve earned everything through your own effort—that is the original principle of the System!"

"Ah... I suppose you’re not wrong."

"Though I’ve heard of other strange systems my master was designing—some created for truly lazy people who wanted everything handed to them for free."

"Such as...?"

"There was a weird Sign-in System where the only thing they had to do was wait and ’sign in’ to receive ridiculous rewards."

"What? Nothing else?"

"No."

"Odd."

"There’s another weird one: the ’One Billion Return System.’ It returned whatever the user sold one billion times over! How does that even work? I’m not sure at all. It’s simply stupid. Where would a system like that even get the energy to produce a billion times the return?"

"Yeah, what the hell? That’s just not right."

"Of course not. Most of those stupid systems couldn’t function because of the ridiculously high amounts of Causality and Fate they required. So Master returned to the basic principle of high effort equals high reward, with some special bonuses like quests added in."

"That seems much more viable, and it works. We’re the living proof of that!"

"Indeed! Even your presumably ’infinite’ stats work under certain specifications and restrictions, drawing power from the Plane of Fate and Souls."

"Do other Systems even do that?"

"Hmm, hard to tell at this point. I’m gone from there, after all..."

"Well, whatever the case, here are our Dungeon Cores... let’s see how they work."

[Empty Dungeon Core (SS Grade)] x3

A Dungeon Core without any Attribute that has not been planted within an area rich in Mana and Miasma.

Once planted in a designated area, the Dungeon Core will draw in the surrounding Elements of the Environment and begin to wield Dimensional Essence, creating a pocket dimension.

The pocket dimension’s size will depend on the amount of Mana and Miasma absorbed during its creation.

Once created, the Dungeon can be upgraded using Divine Materials and EXP.

Huh, so that’s how they work? This is truly fascinating. But the idea of using these as materials to evolve one of my familiars feels even more exciting.
