"Rose, stay away! He’s a monster" Cliff yelled at her, he pulled out his sword and pointed it at Bell. "He killed Derrick, he poisoned his meal. We can’t let him live after he killed your brother"

Rose was shocked, it showed on her face. She looked toward the sleeping bag which Derrick had lay on few hours earlier, he was still there, but he wasn’t moving. Rose walked slowly to him and tapped him.

"Derrick?, wake up" Although she looked frightened, her voice was still soft. She tapped him again but they was no response, then she turned to Bell. "Why would you do this? He was the only family I have!"

"I didn’t do anything, they attacked me" Bell said trying to defend himself but Richard quickly attacked Bell with his sword, swinging at Bell’s neck.

Bell reacted quickly, grabbing Richard’s arm and within a split second, he pulled out his dagger and cut Richard’s right arm.

Richard lets out a cry as Bell grabbed the left arm, pulled him closer and strike his dagger into his neck. Richard fell to the ground, blood spilling out of his neck.

Rose screamed at the sight and immediately ran into the forest, leaving Bell and Cliff alone.

"You bastard, you killed them" Cliff cursed out.

"But you attacked me first" Bell replied and walked towards Cliff. "Why did you choose to attack me?"

"Damn you!" Cliff yelled as he charged at Bell.

Cliff quickly picked up Richard’s shield and swung it at Bell, forcing Bell to jump backward and creating a wide gap between them. Just enough for him to prepare before Bell would be able to attack again.

Cliff readied his weapons as Bell stood ready, both of them waiting for the other to make the first move. They stood for a while in silence till they heard a rattling in a nearby bush, Cliff turned to look and Bell immediately took the opportunity to strike first.

Cliff was quick enough to block it with the shield and counter with a sideway slash, Bell blocked and Cliff immediately bashed him with the shield and he fell. Before Bell could stand, Cliff attacked from above with a shield forcing to roll on the ground instead before jumping up to his feet after he was sure he had created a gap between them but Cliff was still able to land a hit with his sword on Bell’s rib.

Luckily for Bell, he used his dagger to block the sword before it completely went through him. He landed on his feet, then fell to his knees. Cliff was able to cut him, his side was opened and bleeding out. He held it with his hand, hoping it might stop the blood but it didn’t.

_How is he that strong and still able to effectively use a shield in battle?_

Cliff wiped the blood off his sword and approached Bell again, holding out his sword till he got close enough to Bell and rose up his sword.

"It kinda sad that I’ll have to kill you, perhaps you would have been useful to us"

"Useful for what?"

Cliff lifted his sword over Bell’s head and Bell shut his eyes for the inevitable. With a grunt, Cliff brought down his sword with force and blood splattered all over the ground.

Bell slowly opened his eyes and looked around, his eyes widened in shock as he saw the lower part of Cliff falls down to the ground. He gaze shifted to the creature that just killed Cliff crunching on his torso.

The creature was about fifteen feet tall and up to twenty feet long, it fur was covered with blood and it was was hollow and shone in crimson light. It walk with all four of it’s limb, if Bell had seen it from far away he would have thought it was a wolf. And maybe it is, but bigger, much more bigger.

It growls at Bell as it walks towards him. Bell scrambled on his feet and tries to run but fell down on his knees, he clenched his armour tight to his rib - he was till bleeding - the injury he had gotten from his fight with Cliff was holding him down.

The giant wolf suddenly pounced on him, Bell used his dagger to stop the monster’s teeth from coming in contact with him, if not, he will end up just like Cliff. He managed to force his dagger into the monster maw and slid it to it’s neck, cutting half of the monster face.

The monster leaped backwards, shaking it’s head as if it would stop the pain. Bell smiled to himself as he stood up, the bleeding enchantment will do the rest, all he had to do was wait. But it wasn’t enough to bring it down, all it left was a nasty scar on it face and more anger towards Bell.

_Even after losing that much blood?_ He couldn’t help but to show his surprise, he quickly limped into the forest.

Surprisingly, the monster chased him. But it was slowly, really slow. It kept on shaking it’s head, slamming into trees and stumbling to the ground before standing up again. This gave Bell enough time to run and hide in an hole right under a tree.

_At least eight hours had passed since the last time I checked_ Bell thought as he struggled to crawl out of the hole. _I just hope Ryu and Astoria are okay_

He had stayed hidden in the hole for hours and didn’t even go out to check for the monster, he hadn’t even heard anything since when he saw the monster crashed into a tree. But he was sure the monster was dead because a notification had popped up while he was hiding but was too scared and busy listening for the monster to check it.

He limped back to the campsite Cliff and his partner had set up, picked some things that might come in handy and left. Luckily for him, Rose had left her potions when she ran away but something in him hoped she was okay, but what if the monster got her before coming to them.

_No_ Bell shook his head rapidly. _Just go back to Ryu_

With that, he limped into the wilderness again but this time, he was going to his sister.
