Remarriage Failed Again Today
Chapter 301: A Fading Solitary Figure, Can’t Stop Loving You (3)
Annabelle was right. When you had a moment to spare, looking outside always revealed a different view.
「Outside the window.」
Annabelle Linton was walking down the street, holding Stuart’s leash.
It was a lively day, and the streets were crowded. Taking in the vibrant, colorful streetscape and the bustling energy of daily life, her mood lightened considerably.
She wore a white two-piece outfit that naturally showed off her fair, straight legs, paired with a matching pair of canvas shoes.
With her large, bright eyes and the scattered smiles that graced her face, she exuded an aura of pure, kind, and spirited brightness. Her soft hair, which seemed to have grown quite a bit longer, framed her face, giving her a dashing air that was still alluring, and an allure that was still pure. Like a shining star, she drew many admiring glances.
Stuart was also very happy today, running all over the place. Annabelle could barely hold him back. She laughed and said to him, "Baby, run slowly!"
Stuart only understood English, so Annabelle always spoke to him in English.
Hearing Annabelle’s words, Stuart did indeed slow down, trotting to her side and nuzzling against her leg.
Annabelle squatted down and petted his head. He had been sick recently—alcohol poisoning a while back—and had to recover at the pet clinic for a long time before she could take him out.
Stuart had been with Annabelle through so much; it pained her to see him sick.
Thankfully, he was better now, and Annabelle could finally relax.
"Yeah, that’s it, baby. Good boy. Mother loves you."
Stuart nuzzled against Annabelle’s leg even more enthusiastically.
Seeing him acting so endearingly, Annabelle couldn’t help but pet his head again.
Just as Annabelle was playing with Stuart, a young man who looked like a university student, wearing glasses, walked over.
He was tall and thin, with fair skin and a handsome face. Blushing nervously, he said to Annabelle, "Hi. Hello."
Hearing the voice, Annabelle stood up. Seeing the student standing there, she looked at him expressionlessly. "Can I help you?"
When he saw Annabelle’s full face, the student couldn’t help but gasp.
’Even though the university always tells us not to swear or use vulgar language that would bring shame to the school, but...’
’Holy shit, she’s fucking gorgeous!’
’Damn it, how can one woman be so flawless?!’
Annabelle watched the student just stand there dumbfounded. She raised an eyebrow, deciding to ignore him, and turned to leave.
Seeing Annabelle’s slender back, the student finally snapped out of it. He ran to get in front of her and launched into a rapid-fire self-introduction.
"Hi, beautiful, my name is Dylan Dover, I’m a sophomore in the law department, and, um, here’s the thing... I, I want to be friends with you, my phone number is 1-XXX-XXX-XX61, I live at Lynton Garden Homes, unit XXX, I don’t have any bad habits, I don’t play mahjong, don’t smoke, don’t leech off my parents, don’t drink, I’m the ’campus hunk’ of my department, still single, still have my first kiss and I’m still a virgin, I fell for you the first moment I saw you, so can I get your contact info so we can keep in touch? Don’t tell me to give up and don’t tell me you have a boyfriend, I’m not listening, not listening, I won’t listen, I want you to be my girlfriend, just say yes or no!"
This barrage of words left Annabelle utterly bewildered. She stared blankly and said, "Don’t you have a good friend named Samuel Holloway?"
The student: "..."
The young man’s knees went weak; he almost dropped to the ground in front of Annabelle.
’Ma’am, is that all you heard?’
Seeing the look on the student’s face—as if he wanted to cry but had no tears left—Annabelle’s lip twitched. "And I’m not Ruby."
The student: "..."
He couldn’t take it anymore.
Just as the student was about to explain something, Aaron Wyatt walked over, holding two ice creams. His face was dark, and his voice was thick with suppressed rage. "What are you two doing?!"
