"W-What is this? How can this be?"

Aren was shocked as he gazed upon the reflection in the mirror. His visage and body hadn’t shown drastic, noticeable changes.

At first, he even thought that nothing had changed and the system had scammed him.

However, as he looked closely, he noticed the minor yet visible changes in his entire body.

His features had become sharper, his nosebridge taller, his skin clearer with a luminous underglow that caused it to appear more radiant, his pores non-existent.

His eyes, which were of different sizes before, had now changed shape, as if a sculptor had trimmed away the micro-imperfections he couldn’t see before. His chestnut brown eyes now shimmered with an intensity that felt almost hypnotic.

His raven black hair, which was already borderline perfect, now seemed to shine brighter and with more thickness.

His shoulders had become slightly broader, causing his frame to appear more masculine, and combined with his slim waist with those shredded abdominal muscles, his body had become borderline divine, as if the gods had descended to carve him to perfection.

His neck had become slightly longer and more alluring, his Adam’s apple even more visible than before. His forearms and hands were slightly longer and more veiny. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

If people turned their heads to look at him before, now they would stare at him, mesmerized.

Every part of him had undergone an enhancement.

As he turned to check his side profiles, he noticed that even those had become more symmetrical, and nothing seemed to be out of line.

It was as if some editor was correcting every imperfection in real time.

Moreover, the most outstanding thing was that nothing seemed out of place or changed too drastically. Since he had already been outstandingly handsome before, no one could place their fingers on what had changed about him, only that he somehow seemed mesmerizing now.

"T-This is perfect..." He murmured in a daze, looking at his reflection in the mirror.

This was the best outcome he could’ve wished for.

If his appearance changed too drastically, people might’ve accused him of surgery. However, this was perfect.

Even he wasn’t able to catch the changes at first glance, and he had been actively looking for them. If someone wasn’t trying to catch the changes intentionally, they wouldn’t even notice that anything had changed.

They would only subconsciously feel that he looked more handsome somehow.

As for his charm, he didn’t feel any different.

"Looks like my charm doesn’t work on me." He speculated, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. He shrugged: "Well, whatever. I will just check others’ reactions in the shooting."

Just at this moment—

Knock Knock.

The door to his makeup room was knocked on.

A female voice came from outside, respectful and polite: "Mr. Aren, your shot is ready. The director is calling for you."

Aren didn’t answer, walking to the door and opening it instead.

In front of him was a middle-aged woman holding a file, seemingly the script of the drama.

As soon as she looked at him, her eyes widened in surprise.

She was standing just inches away from him, thus requiring her to raise her head to look at Aren’s face.

Yet, she couldn’t turn her gaze away.

She looked at him... with almost enthralled eyes.

"Please escort me."

It was only after he nodded with a polite smile and requested that she came to reality.

"Uh-yes." She turned around with a red face. "P-Please follow me, Mr. Aren."

On the inside, however, there was this strange urge to steal a glance at that divine visage of the man walking behind her with calm footsteps.

She didn’t know what it was, but she wanted to look at him once again.

She had seen him in person for the first time today, and yet, she felt her heart flutter as soon as she looked at him.

How can a single glance cause her to feel like this?

’I’m a married woman with children... Why am I feeling like this for a man ten years younger than me?’

She clutched the file in her hands tighter as her thoughts flowed wildly in her mind.

’I have seen his face in news articles before, but never have I felt like this while looking at him. So why now?’

She was perplexed, and after a short walk, they finally arrived in front of a wooden classroom door. In front of the door was the assistant director, standing like a guard as he looked at the two arriving individuals.

Casting a gaze at Aren, he revealed a similar reaction to the female AD. Although his heart didn’t flutter like her, he felt a strange bliss while looking at him that made it difficult to take his eyes off of him.

Moreover, since this was the first time he was seeing him without his mask and cap, he couldn’t help but be taken aback by how handsome he was in person. He felt even pictures of him didn’t justify the beauty his face held.

He smiled at the two, speaking to Aren, "Please wait a bit, Sir Aren. I’ll go and inform the director of your arrival."

Getting a nod from Aren, he turned to the female and instructed, "Accompany Sir Aren and answer him if he has any questions."

The female, Emma, was the second assistant director of the production crew, handling some of the minor duties of an assistant director like handling the cast/paperwork.

Big-budget production crews often had more than one assistant director to handle different tasks more efficiently.

"I understand, sir." Emma nodded as the assistant director entered the classroom.

Emma, feeling relieved that she didn’t have to control herself anymore from glancing at Aren, turned towards him, asking respectfully, "Do you have any questions about the upcoming scene, Mr. Aren?"

As Aren turned thoughtful, Emma continued stealing glances at his perfectly handsome face.

The upcoming scene was the debut of Aren’s character in the drama. His character, Klis Ether, a genius at everything he did, was a year senior to the other main characters.

The second lead, played by Tyler Woods, and the female lead, played by Lisa Vern, were both from wealthy families.

He, on the other hand, was fatherless with a younger sister and mother to take care of.
