Richest Rag-picker
Chapter 325 - 316: Lamborghini Business Vehicle
After observing for a moment, Fang Chenyi found an opening when no one was around and slipped right inside.
"Damn, this place is really something else. What’s the point of keeping a garbage dump so clean..."
He had to admit, the place was genuinely clean. When he walked in, the trash-strewn mess he had imagined was nowhere to be seen. Instead, large boxes were arranged in neat rows. It reminded Fang Chenyi of the garbage depot at his own golf course.
Fang Chenyi didn’t rush to start scavenging. Instead, he scanned the area for any surveillance equipment, like cameras.
After a thorough search, Fang Chenyi was amazed to find that there weren’t any!
There were truly none. Not a single one.
It was different from Huaxia. On the streets, aside from the ones installed by businesses, you rarely saw any surveillance cameras.
For Fang Chenyi, the lack of cameras was, of course, a good thing.
So, with a flick of the woven bag in his hand, he headed toward a more secluded corner.
To be safe, Fang Chenyi took out his trash grabber and swept it in a circle around the bin in front of him. Just like that, all the harmful bacteria were eliminated.
Peering into the bin, he saw it was filled with old clothes and the like. Fang Chenyi wasn’t particularly interested; the system wouldn’t give him much money for recycling them. The main issue was that he found it a bit disgusting to pick them up. After all, they were clothes worn by other people—and foreigners at that.
Shaking his head, he moved to another bin. Following the same procedure, he sanitized it of bacteria before reaching out to open the lid.
This time, he found a pleasant surprise. The bin was filled with electronics!
He casually picked one up and saw it was a fairly new phone. When he pressed the power button, it actually turned on.
’Fucking hell, talk about wasteful. Who just throws away a perfectly good phone like this?’
With that thought, Fang Chenyi no longer hesitated and casually tossed it into his woven bag.

"Uh... holy shit, what the hell? For fuck’s sake, do they just throw any old crap in here?!"
It was only after hearing the notification in his mind that Fang Chenyi realized what the damn thing actually was.
Shaking his head, speechless, he continued scavenging.
Fang Chenyi didn’t care if anyone saw him; it was all just trash anyway.
And so, he cleaned the whole bin out.
Looking at the now-empty bin before him, Fang Chenyi couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction. In just that short time, he’d collected items worth no less than twenty million!
Dusting off his hands, he turned his attention to the next bin.
What puzzled Fang Chenyi, however, was that this bin had a large exclamation mark painted on it. This piqued his curiosity.
’What’s this? Are there dangerous items inside?’
’He recalled that the rich folks around here seemed to love keeping strange and exotic animals. Could this bin be full of discarded pets?’
Of course, it was just a passing thought. If they were really pets, he’d definitely be able to hear them.
’Whatever,’ he thought. ’With my trash grabber in hand, even toxic materials can’t affect me.’
And so, he stepped forward and used his grabber to open the bin’s lid.
In the next moment, the contents of the bin were revealed.
When he saw what was inside, Fang Chenyi froze, screaming internally, ’Holy shit!’
Never in his wildest dreams would Fang Chenyi have imagined that a trash bin would be filled with *these* things.
Still in shock, he used his grabber to pick one of the items up and bring it closer, muttering to himself:
"Holy shit, is this an M4?"
There was no mistake. The entire large bin was filled to the brim with all sorts of damaged firearms, bullet casings, and more!
As someone who had grown up in Huaxia, Fang Chenyi could never have imagined that in a foreign country, things like this could just be casually tossed in the trash!
He shook his head in disbelief. In that moment, he truly understood why Huaxia was considered the safest country in the world.
Fang Chenyi was a man, after all, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a man who didn’t appreciate what lay before him.
He reached out and picked up an M4 with a warped barrel. Feeling its heavy weight in his hands, he had to admit it felt much more real than the plastic BB guns he’d bought as a kid.
To be fair, this wasn’t the first time Fang Chenyi had seen a real gun. He’d seen the pirates’ AKs during the plane crash. It was just that the pirates themselves clearly didn’t care much for hygiene, and their rifles looked filthy. Fang Chenyi had even seen black, greasy grime caked onto the grips.
Compared to those guns, the one in his hands now was in a completely different league.
Basically, aside from its warped barrel, the rest of this M4 looked brand new.
Clearly, some tycoon must have fired a few hundred rounds in one go and completely shot out the barrel.
Fang Chenyi shook his head, truly amazed by the wastefulness. ’I mean, come on. So you shot out the barrel, but you could have at least stripped the accessories, right? Seriously, they didn’t even bother to take off the scope or the magazine!’
