After Ryan returned from his escort mission and met up with Karol and Irina.

They realized they were being followed, and the girls had taken care of it.

They had brought back one of those assassins for interrogation.

Though it apparently turned out to be a girl.

Her breasts remained exposed, and Ryan removed the hood covering her face. She was still unconscious.

"Were all the ones you killed women?"

The interrogation continued.

Or also, there was the possibility that they wanted to make some deal with demons by exchanging the dwarves as slaves.

The effect of the debt had ended; at last the girl could move, but Ryan warned her not to try anything else and told her she could get dressed now, so she obeyed.
